A solid 7.5-8/10 in my book. I feel like it really removed all the issues I had with the previous game but there are some issues. The biggest issue I had is something that ruined my attachment to the story. The memory system is back but they tell a linear story though flashbacks instead of them being mostly self contained like the original but in this game I had a death scene ruined for me because I apparently didn’t find the glyphs in the right order. Scattering random bits of a story around the map in an open world game that has twists to it is just asking for it to be viewed incorrectly. An issue did persist from botw in my opinion and that’s the content bloat. People often praise this game for how much you can do but I have a hard time finding enjoyment out of a lot of it especially the new underground which feels very rushed. There aren’t really many glaring / game ruining negatives here for me and I do wonder where the series is going next but I do worry that the open world style of Zelda could get very stale

Every night I pray for a good one piece game but the prayers go unanswered to this day

Rarely ever do I see a sequel address every flaw people had with the original game. God bless McDonald’s for being the reason sega decided to create the lock on-technology compatibility for this . Doomsday zone goes harder than anything I’ve ever seen

Everybody has that one game people say is ass but they love it and this one is mine

I miss inaba so bad but I don’t want to replay it . Something about keeping it as a memory in my heart feels better to me

This game is amazing and my favorite route was blue lions. The discourse surrounding this game has become incredibly annoying because of how serious in nature the way war is presented and I see people online refusing to like these characters because they’re “war criminals” (this mostly happened after engage released because recency syndrome makes people bash previous installments in a series) and honestly it doesn’t surprise me how stupid this fanbase can be about stuff like that when a vast majority of the games are ok at best

This has to be one of the most catastrophic fumbles I’ve ever ever seen happen with any video game. People were buying switches solely for this game just for them to abandon it and stop updating it like a year after it came out and that’s tragic to me since I grew up playing so much new leaf and seeing the untapped potential here + having to wait so long for this

It just feels like a fan fiction with unneeded padding. I don’t want to sound like a nostalgia hungry millennial and I’m not. I’m 20 and I played the original when I was 19 and I vastly prefer the original. The extremely sluggish side quests and lingering bits in the story completely suck all the enjoyment I have out of this combined with the press square to win combat carried by pretty visuals make this feel like I’m playing a dynasty warriors game except the fun part is gone. My least favorite aspect of all is the changes to the story and the seemingly fourth wall breaking behavior sephiroth and the cloaked ghosts literally beating you over the head with what they’re an allegory for. The Zack revival stuff is hilarious it’s like something out of a shounen anime. One of my few praises for the remake is the soundtrack though but it’s final fantasy so I’m not saying anything new with that

When I first watched the direct this was revealed in I laughed at it but after actually playing it I was on the edge of my seat. It’s fun and it’s how Nintendo is gauging interest in the series so I’m ok with this

It really feels as though they struck gold when they first began creating this game. While the story is very simple almost shounen manga/anime levels of simple the presentation is absolutely perfect. The gameplay is very simple especially compared to later entries in the series (which is to be expected) and a lot of the side content is flat out terrible xenoblade 1 feels like a chance taken at experimenting that went extremely well

Rating : 8/10. An enhanced version of the original Darkstalkers a year after it released akin to something like a street fighter 2 turbo. The roster receiving 4 new characters which was already incredibly distinct makes this a definitive version of the first game to play.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 feels like the perfection of the xenoblade formula as someone who has played the entire trilogy . With an amazing story and a cast of characters that feels truly alive combined with a beautiful musical score I feel comfortable calling it a modern day masterpiece and the best xenoblade game thus far

I’m starting to feel sad about scarlet and violet because the base game has a great story and part 1 had a decent one but the presentation for the game as a whole is so lacking it feels very disjointed . How am I supposed to get invested in character talking shot reverse shot voiceless slideshows . And I had fun recatching old Pokémon in the new dlc area but I catching returning Pokémon I’ll never use really that noteworthy

One day classified documents are going to leak exposing the fact that governments around the world make war criminals play this as cruel and unusual punishment

Rating : 7/10 A very beautiful game with a smooth distinct style. Every character here feels memorable and unique and the spire work is masterful. The Brazil stage had me in complete awe when I first saw it what a spectacle the backgrounds in this game are. The game can be difficult at times especially for a casual level fighting game player like myself but finally beating pyron was extremely gratifying
