This game was so bad it killed Megaman for years, holy shit.

This game is more horrible and unfair and nonsensical than the actual game, and that's saying something. By now the Tag Duel and WCT games can be defined as "retro", so just play those instead if you want a game with old Yugioh on it.

I never got good at fighting games, but 10 year old me got to play as Link in a fighting game and I thought that was cool as hell.

The campaign forcing you to do different challenges while winning was a cool concept, and if it was ever brought back I think it'd be a nice way to merge training mode with a main campaign.

I'm gonna expose myself a bit and admit I got so used to breaking the game with real time combat using ping spam that I wasn't used to the turn based combat and never beat the final boss. I don't know if I count that as a win or not, but honestly I feel like the two factors balance each other out.

Gyro controls are awkward, but this game is actual art and is very pleasant.

Best way to play gen 1 in my opinion, and a very cozy game at that. The addition of gen 2 pokemon and a battle tower is all very nice, along with the Sevii Islands in general being fun to explore.

A really bad beat-em-up movie tie-in game with short story, tons of padding, and not really a whole lot to enjoy.

Honestly one of the better titles. It's standalone and the 2 different routes give some incentive to replay and see what you missed before. Seth is by far the greatest and strongest unit to ever exist in these games, so use him as a crutch when you can. That aside it's just all around very well built as a game.

Fire Emblem Awakening and its consequences have been disastrous for the franchise.

On a more serious note, this game isn't bad, and it helped save the franchise, but it also popularized the dating sim elements that have latched onto the franchise ever since. The story is so-so, filled with a ton of references to past games and with mostly easy gameplay and a boilerplate story. Has some okay replayability and DLC, but I'd hardly put it in my top 5 titles even when including stuff that came out after.

Good for getting the cosmetics. A handful of rounds should get you everything you need. From there it may as well be the poker version of solitaire, something fun to pass the time.

I'll be honest, I bought this for a buck while bored out of my mind and unable to sleep. This isn't even really a video game

Character variety is fun to work with, although the final stage requires Mario. The mini games are fun to hunt down and a nice little piece of side content. This doesn't revolutionize the game, but it can be fun to go through the stages with different characters.

Reused plot regarding the Royal Knights makes part of the story feel uninspired. Some translation issues exist, in addition to there being a level cap stat that pads out your grinding. All these issues aside this is probably the cleanest Digimon title released, which admittedly is a bit of a low bar.

Merges changes brought with Crystal version along with a lot of new features and QoL improvements that 3rd and 4th generations added. Leveling is fixed in the second half of the game, but there are still some issues between badges 4-7 on leveling. The added content definitely helps though.

One of the better 3rd versions in the franchise. A few of the pokemon are shifted around so you can get some stuff a bit earlier. Some more story is added than regular Gold or Silver, and a couple new features. It still carries issues found in gen 2 such as several Johto pokemon not being in Johto, and the map opening up too much past the 3rd gym to give a better level curve. That aside is pretty fun.
