Man this is a really great game. Not many flaws at all. My only regret is my age. Im 32 now so I cant enjoy this game in the way I would've if I was younger. I keep thinking to myself had this came out when I was younger this would be an all time favorite game for me. I would spend hours doing absolutely nothing. Now that Im older I just dont have the time or patience. Dont get me wrong, I still did ALOT of the side stuff but I feel i missed out on some because I want to get to other games. But anyway rating this game on its own merits its a masterpice. Top 3 in the franchise for me. This is like a dragon but bigger with so much more to do. If there is a weakness it has to be that the kasuga side of the story isnt as great as past stories or kiriyu's side in this game but its still enjoyable. Nothing much else to say. This game is great and a great sendoff for one of gamings legends kiriyu.

Very fun, difficult game. One of the games that laid the foundation for platinum's future games and from software's games. If i could compare or describe this game i would say its dmc plus ninja gaiden. Cheesy not really important story but fun characters and setting with almost excellent gameplay. it is dated so the controls arent perfect but this is one of the games that reinforce my belief that the ps2 was the best gaming system and im glad to have been apart of that generation.

Personally, this is my favorite in the trilogy. I understand why somemight prefer the older ones. This one is definitely easier than the others but its gameplay also feels the most polished and complete. In truth, the story never reached quite the heights the first one did but as the series sort of transformed into a shonen anime in game form i personally think this one worked best. Travis is such an underrated protagonist. One of my favorites. If this is truly the end of his story he will be missed. This series deserves the same respect as dmc, bayonetta and ninja gaiden honestly and its better than those in its own ways. Really enjoyed this one.

I wont write another review as I wrote one on the vanilla version that I played over a decade ago when the game was new and I was younger boy but this still remains one of the greatest games of all time. Kojima's run specifically from mgs1 to mgs3 is S+ tier material. His other games are really good as well but this is where the true legendary greatest of all time type games came from kojima. Such an emotional story. The boss!!!!, she's the best

There's not much I can say that hasn't been stated about this masterpiece. I've been a mgs fan for over a decade now but this was the one in the series I never got around to playing. I watched a playthrough and loved it but I was always with the opinion that 3 was the apex and true best of the series. After finally playing it and I can say that in my opinion this is the absolute best in the series. This is basically mgs1 but with much improved gameplay mechaincs, graphics and even tighter story with the best twist in gaming history. I also feel like this cast is underappreciated in the whole mgs saga. Sure raiden became a fan favorite and I hear names like fatman and obviously solidus and vamp but characters like Fortune(Black Queen!!) and olga were just as good if not better than some of the ones that became the most loved. No game is perfect and this game did have some points that pissed you off(escorting emma, swimming) but overall this is just simply put one of the best pieces of fictional media in existence. I know im impartially bias. I am 32 years old. I grew up with this game and this era. This games whole theme and style is reminiscent of all the big sort of techno psychiological sci fi movies that came out at the time(Matrix, Mission Impossible, Bourne Series) that I grew up loving and this being a playable game in that form is perfect for me. Seriously, this is the greatest

I played this game when I was younger but never finished it. Today i finished it finally after decades ago of experiencing. This has always been my favorite gaming franchise and now completing this and remember things as well as experiencing the ending on my own has made me really appreciate this game ecen more. This is one of the greatest and most important games of all time. Solid snake is a top tier protagonists, considering the time, the boss battles are iconic, dynamic and some of the best this medium has ever had. A VERY good, political storyline. Not much I can say that hasnt been said by thousands of gamers but this is one of the best of all time.

Ludger is the man. Love when jrpgs or japanese media go the adult protagonist route. Very touching moments between him and elle. I feel this is the most anime of the tales of series but i liked it. It's not perfect and some of the side quests are boring but all the boss battles and elite monster fights were fun to me. I will say for a genre(jrpg) that in my opinion is partially defined by how good the music is almost always is, this game maybe had 2 or 3 good tracks but the rest were forgettable. Again, good game to me but I can see why others might not like it. Feels like this is tales of verion of kingdom hearts or ff13-2.

Very fun game. The main cast is adorable with yuri, rita and judith standing out the most for me personally. Yuri in particular is a great protagonist to me. The lack of really good villains hurt the story but not by a lot. The world also wasnt one of the best that i experienced but someplaces were truly special like mt temza and the city in the sky. I like all the little side quests and side content packed into the game as well. It helped make the game feel as big as it wanted to. This probably isnt the best tales of game for some(i cant comment on that because this is my first) but this is a really good retro rpg experience. Overall a solid game

Very good game. I say even top 5 in the character action game department. The anesthetic of this one is greatness. This has bayo's best look. The combat and designs of everyone is god tier. THE MUSIC!!!!! my only negative is a few of the side verse missions. The last few were bullshit but other then that thus was a really good game. Easy and short but good nonetheless.

Game was OK. I can see why kids growing up with a psp liked it and this game had the better characters in the franchise to me but its still kingdom hearts and that's just an OK franchise altogether. Aqua is best girl and my favorite in the franchise though and I do like xehanort"palpatine" and terra"anakin Skywalker". Solid but might have meant more if I truly loved the franchise and played this back when it came out

I finally understand why persona is loved. This game wasn't perfect by any means but it was basically a playable slice of life/ thriller anime. This cast is honestly one of the best in jrpg history and maybe all of gaming. Some of the game play mechanics are rough but it never truly hinders or ruins the enjoyment of this journey. A banging soundtrack, s tier cast and the twin peaks/ Scooby-Doo doo vibes make this an unforgettable experience. Yosuke, Naoto, adachi, dojima and chief were my top 5 in a game where almost everyone was s,a or b tier. Loved it.

The first one is waaaaay better but this one has the best designs in the whole series and it was cool to control shinobu and henry. The last boss can be absolute bullshit though. The whole game is easy up until him. I also didnt like how they got rid of the open world aspects but the world and especially travis and sylvia stay goated. Awesome series, ok sequel.

Lol this game f'ing sucks. The same sh*t ppl was complaining about in 13 and the haters of 7remake are present here but their God yoshi p made it and it's got dmc gameplay so it's supposed to be good? F out of here. And the story turned real garbage in the second half. He'll u can just say the story was only good when it was trying too hard to be game of thrones lmao. The top 3 ff are still 6,7 and 9 and that ain't changing

Very fun game. A little overrated but still really good. Definitely influenced by western open world games more than the fans would like to admit but it does the open world genre better than 90 percent of them. Zelda stories have gotten weaker Definitely but they make up for it with the fun gameplay and exploration.

a couple of cring dialogue moments but overall a really good game with a heavy and emotional ending that we knew was coming but still got us. Sephiroth is a top 5 ff character i dont care what anyone says
