Started off goofy, but ended fairly strong. Central mystery was COMPLETELY undone when there's just suddenly "Do you know anything about our father?" to Tom when there was LITERALLY NO WORRY ABOUT THIS BEFORE. Like, damn, wonder who it is as we spend the next 5 hours wondering. Also, I burst out laughing when Alyson's crying over her mom's grave and goes "We were your goblins!!", like I'm sorry, but I cannot take you seriously. I'm being a little harsh, and I can't say that by the end I wasn't on board with seeing the game through, so it got me in the end.

BANGER fucking game. godDAMN that ending. The characters were so lovely, the voice-acting and dialogue was SO good, the story was stellar, I enjoyed that SO much, FANTASTIC creeping dread and eldritch horror undertones.

Honestly, a little disappointed, which is really weird to say. This sort of meta-mystery would be RIGHT up my alley it feels, and while the ideas are really fun, idk why, but it just doesn't click that excitement in me. Which again seems crazy, because I'm SO for "Game is a commentary about the meaning of consciousness, tulpas, the birth of an idea", the meta-bullshit, the fact that Lila is simply the game, the thought of her, a creation made to be furthered and to live inside each of our minds. But it's like, I've seen this before. I've pursued games and movies and stuff like this to where I've seen all the tricks it pulls already, which is very much a ME issue. I think this will be a game that occasionally comes up and I go "oh yeah, I liked the first few hours, but getting some of the endings was a slog". Idk, weird that I'm saying this. I'm definitely happy that I played it, and I'm almost frustrated with myself for not liking it more. I think I may come around more on it later though

Honestly, more basic than I remembered it, but I did play it in like middle school. Still a good time though!

Played it with a room full of people, and all of them cheered when the "I love you" option appeared

I ended the game with 9 pages of notes, 2 photoshop files, 3 drawn up maps, so many fucking open tabs, and 1 mental breakdown

Wish it locked you in Dogtown tbh because had the same narrative problem of the base game where the pressure in the narrative isn't felt through the gameplay.

With that being said, I did a 45 hour 2nd playthrough just to flesh out my V before playing it, and had to write my first fan fiction after finishing it. Slaps

The first game I ever fully completed. Adored this when I was a kid, and replayed it when I was older and shockingly still held up. Just ignore the 360p visuals.

I really REALLY wanted to like this. Felt up my alley because I love chill games, I love visual novels, I love modern fantasy, and I love just getting to know characters. This just never clicked though. It felt smug and almost pretentious at times about its writing and commentary which never goes past "real world issue but with a fantasy coating". The dialogue and characters also aren't anything special, which would be fine, but it's again that smugness that just makes that feel worse. Even the gameplay of making coffee is lackluster, where it is simply trial and error of only 3 ingredients and never goes beyond it. I was just disappointed and annoyed with this.

It was cute! However, I remember literally next to nothing, and my partner is saying I didn't like it, so oh well.

Listen it's a pretty good game. I like the little worlds. I thought the last one was the best execution of the premise. But the ending reveal that who was with you all along was WATSON from SHERLOCK HOLMES made me bust out laughing.

Idk just didn't have what made the first one so compelling. Mirror's Edge was TIGHT, while this felt just bloated. It felt in line with the industry at the time, which feels opposite to what the first Mirror's Edge was.

I played this on stream and had a blast. Yes it's a piece of shit but when you're blaring breakcore while screaming with your friends over the last section, and everyone's losing their shit over Sonic and a human kissing, can you say you had a bad time?

Quite literally the worst game I have ever played. I have never seen an ending ruin something so hard in my entire life. I tried to refund it twice even though I had already played 5 hours. Fuck this game.
