Great visual novel with amazing writing, ingenious use of different visuals (including 2d animations and real life footage) and a great cast of characters. The strongest ones being Kusabi, Tokio and Sumio during case 3 imo. While the prologue and case 1 might be a bit boring (and in my case tricked me into thinking there was more interactivity) after that it definitely picks up the pace reaching a huge peak in case 3 and then again in case 5 . While a bit cryptic sometimes and easy to loose track of dates, the placebo side does an amazing job of complimenting each case and by the end of the game i definitely felt that everything tied up nicely with only 1 or 2 questions left. Will definitely pick up FSR soon and someone please for the love of god lend him 50.000

3rd entry in my kill the past journey and once again Suda51 won't dissapoint. The cutscenes of this game are very unique and creative, taking different approaches in different levels, in-game visuals are also very good. Many memorable characters that even if not well developed they definitely stick with you, gameplay mechanics are a bit hard to understand at first but once you have gotten the grasp of them they are very intuitive. Again the plot is tad bit hard to follow with many details being obscured but even with a lot of content cut off you can reach a satisfying ending. Overall another great part in the kill the past saga. Edo Macallister what are you doing here

I'm on the final stretch of the game (if you know you know) so i decided to just drop a review now. Once again suda51 making an engaging story with amazing visuals, all characters are very interesting and their relationships are so too. Correctness didn't really click with me a lot, i loved shiro and kuro, the first few cases were interesting but at some point i felt the story went too off the rails and i kinda lost track of it; by the end i kinda got it and some reveals were pretty good but it just wasn't that 10/10 i hoped. Matchmaker was very fun, good characters, classic kill the past plot which was great and what good art it had, it felt quite a bit too side storish but had a good clear plot to follow. Now Placebo? once again that takes the fucking whole cake. Tokio is such an interesting character and idk what it is about placebo that it's just so interesting. The diary entries are just great insight in different characters, that one case where tokio's story is mixed in with meru's diary was just great, definitely the main character of this game. And YUKI was so good too, what a great way to end placebo. Overall another great KTP entry but i just couldn't click with it in some few instances but can't wait for more also i guess i'm half-way through black out and i'm definitely doing all of it

Another great suda51 game now with action thrown in everywhere. Although a bit repetitive sometimes and a few gimmicky bosses, it more than makes the difference with great soundtrack, excellent character designs and fun plot. Of course the majority of bosses that aren’t bland are extremely fun and challenging. Even if you aren’t interested in The kill the past series, No more heroes is definitely a worth it stand alone experience with fun dialogue and engaging action. Now onto NHM 2

Extremely engaging mystery game, no replayability (and some hard to spot clues) but still those were some great 7 hours back to back

I was a bit skeptical about this game but still went in bc it sounded nice. Like 2 levels in this mf glitches and makes it impossible to progress. A shame really but i wasn't feeling it enough to try and fix it

Just a bit wonky on the controls but definitely a great game. awesome music, visuals and concept

Short yet incredible fun game, all the artwork is amazing, the dialogue is fun and the gameplay completely sucked me in for an hour. Will definitely keep an eye on this dev for future works.

Around 30 hours of fun combat and engaging story make this a must buy, besides the few minor bugs or missing QoL functions it's a fun experience, only bad thing imo is the scrapped dating sim

Solid shooter, didn't care for the voice commands mechanic but it's nice for games to take risks like that, charming characters and for the most part interesting plot

Quick review? Go play the wii games instead, soooo much more fun. If you already have and really really wanna try this one, then consider maybe getting this on sale

Pretty mediocre game, nothing really good but also not horrible. Almost all the time i played this i was thinking how i wanna finish this quickly so i can rather replay the wii games. They are better in every single point from the world to the combat and the rpg and collecting aspects.
I will give this extra points for having an actual villain/plot, unlike the wii games that for the most part is just pretty generic "weird island, let's find out what's on it". I even liked the scene after the final fight where brook mentions knowing about him back when he was alive, that was a nice touch. Anyway, go play unlimited cruise/adventure

Very good game with an interesting plot and use of such, people find similarities to danganronpa (specially 2, which yeah it was cleary an influence) but i'd rather compare it to the kill the past games by suda51, a Flower, sun and rain with a bit of silver case mixed in so highly recommend if you like KTP and viceversa.
While it wasn't the hardest mystery to solve (once you have most of the evidence the picture is pretty clear) it did have a few reveals that shocked me. The characters are very well utilized and it's great how you can choose which evidence to ignore or use circumstantial shenanigans to incriminate whoever you want, basically deciding if you wanna spare or doom anyone. This does come with a drawback, there's not really an ending? you just present evidence and those found guilty are executed, sure there's different dialogues but you don't really get anything out of choosing any route besides self satisfaction. Even so, it was a fun game and i enjoyed looking for evidence and interacting with the great cast.

Great metroidvania and an even better indie game, this should be the industry standard. You really get sucked into the world, amazing atmosphere. Bosses get really challenging but they’re beatable. 100% recommend
