After a 2 year slog through this game I finally finished it! Final thoughts? Eh it's alright. Certainly an interesting combination of the Persona franchise with Eterian Odyssey gameplay thrown in a bit too. There's lots of little fan service bits for fans of Persona 3 and 4 which is nice but that doesn't help make the game feel less repetitive and long. The whole thing is basically just grinding through dungeons over and over. It's not necessarily bad but by the time I got to the 3 one of 5 I was burnt out on it.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon I decided to complete a full living Pokedex! Oh god...

Took me 8 months but I finished my complete living dex! It was a lot of work but a lot of fun!

Liked it a lot! Combat was a bit repetitive and near the end the repeated levels got annoying. But a fun story, great path system and fantastic soundtrack made it a fun little game!

Wow that was much shorter and easier than the last ones

Wow...just wow. What a fantastic ending to a fantastic series.

What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said? It looks absolutely gorgeous, plays incredibly well too, and delivers both another satisfying adventure with Nathan Drake and friends and also provides the perfect ending to wrap it all up nice and sweet. The few issues I had with it wern't even huge issues. The AI is alot tougher than previous games, just playing on Normal mode had me dying a lot more than I thought I would. This isn't really a problem though and probably more of a reflection of my skills. My other small issue were the villains. They never really quite felt like they were that villianess, they were just there the whole time. Compared to previous entries villains like Flynn, Lazarevic, and Marlowe, Rafe and Nadine aren't very compelling. The story also feels a little slower than previous games, but this isn't so much a complaint but more of the developers deciding to do things a bt differently.

Overall though Uncharted 4 is another awesome ride beginning to end. Getting to see the Drake gang go on one final adventure together is great and plays pretty much perfectly. And man, that epilogue chapter. So good.

*NOTE: Guess I should mention multiplayer too. While also looking gorgeous and handling pretty damn well, I haven't really gotten into the multiplayer in this as I did with 3. The changes they made are cool and all but I miss the system for 3. It's probably because I've sunk hours upon hours into the previous multiplayer mode, but this one is just missing the bits that really hooked me before.

Beat both Normal and Nightmare modes on Veteran difficulty

OCT 2016 Edit: I played through all the DLC now! Here's my mini thoughts:
Automaton: 6/10 - Fun little DLC. Added a new wuestline and some new stuff. Not much to it but still enjoyable.
Far Harbor: 8/10 - GREAT DLC! Cool new map to explore, fun new items, enemies and locations, and an actiual interesting storyline to boot. I loved playing through this and wish games had more DLC like this.
Vault-Tec Workshop: 3/10 - The only Workshop DLC that kinda had a story to it. The settlement building was clunky already, making a whole DLC centered around it was probably not the best idea. For awhile I wanted to try and make a cool functioning vault, But after 2 hours trying and failing to build it the way I wanted I gave up and just threw everything together to finish the storyline.
Nuka-World: 5/10 - Man I was hoping for another Far Harbor here but this one just didn't grab me as much. The story was dull, the added side quests nothing special, the Nuka-World map is too large and confusing at times, and I didn't like that the story forces you to play a raider, even if your characters been against that the whole game. A pretty b;and note to end on.

This game somehow simultaneously manages to be fun yet disappointing at the same time. After the last two fantastic Fallout games (New Vegas being my personal favorite), Fallout 4 feels like it's missing a lot of what made those games so great. The story is alright. The first 2/3 of it feel like it's dragging it's feet but the final 1/3 pick up with an interesting plot twist and some actual choice in how you want things to play out. The faction system from New Vegas returns but it's a shell of what it was, which is disappointing since that's one of the things that made that game so great. The game feels extremely light on quests, with the main story taking up most of them and then whatever faction you chose filling in the rest. There's a few side quests that are entertaining and fun but still not nearly as many as there were in previous Fallout games. I found myself saying "Wait that's it?" as I cleared out my quest list and looked online for more to do, by far the quickest I've ever finished up everything I wanted to do in a Fallout/Bethesda game. All that being said though I did find myself sinking hours into the game and having a good amount of fun with it. The settlement system which I didn't like at first grew on me, and turning the small run down settlements into sprawling cities and castle made for fun side projects to my exploring, looting and upgrading of my gear. Overall Fallout 4 was an alright game. While feeling kinda light compared to the previous entries it still manages to be a fun, addicting time sink. I hope with the announcement of plenty of DLC over the next year the game expands and slightly addresses these concerns.

EDIT 9/3/16: Got the DLC and working through that now.

Loved it! Really awesome game that was a better Fallout than Fallout 4 and a more interesting open world than Breath of the Wild.

Story was a little clunky and it did get a bit repetitive towards the end, but still extremely solid and fun to play all the way through. Hope they make a sequel someday!

Finished the good storyline, defintly enjoyed it a lot! It felt a lot like the original infamous which was a good throw back, especially since infamous 1 was my first PS3 game way back when. The game felt kinda short though, I was surprised when I realized the plot as wrapping up already. There's not of diversity in the game either. Besides the different powers everything ust kinda feels the same over and over which is a bit of a bummer. The story is good but I didn't feel as invested as I did in the first 2 infamous games, at least until the end.

I'm gonna do an evil playthrough soon but I have a feeling that will just be more of the same and be an even quicker playthrough. Still though not a bad game. Certainly enjoyed my time with it!
