Too many hours into this game across both the Steam release and the PS3 version, I just love the Persona calendar system so much. When it comes to actual story though, the villains are cartoonishly evil, the themes are not that well thought out, and only about half the main cast made a strong impression on me. I get what third semester is trying to do but I just disagree with it so I couldn't enjoy it much.

Never a dull moment with this masterpiece. I'm glad I went in with the expectation that I'll be mostly fucking around and only occasionally stumbling upon the "main" mystery, because that willingness to meander really enhanced my experience.

surprisingly charming but the length was just a bit too short to leave a heavy impact. but i do like the reveals

im starting to think the simplicity of the original actually made it better because jesus wtf is happening even

jumpscares were better tho

thank you hazel more introducing me to this game

its not a masterpiece by any means and is 60% of the time too horny for its own good, but when it does work it's a pretty good showcase of multiple route narrative design and character writing. my favorite stories were kaori and yoshiko

Played this a long time ago but definitely one of my fav platformers, every one of its mechanics work into each other and are equally fun to use. The story's kinda cliche ig but I didn't mind it. Fuck the cassette levels tho

2018

Played it a shit ton when it first came out, and sank another 120 hours into it when I got a new pc. Perfect roguelike.

lady drawing sword from boob pulled me back in for a sec, but then i realized this game and all of mihoyo's other games is what's wrong with the Chinese gaming industry today

I played this exactly like how most of my middle school years played out. Did like 5 social links, and spent all of my time upping stats and eating spicy Chinese food.

Was my go to turn-your-brain-off game for a long time. I have issues.

Sometimes I forget what a tight narrative the first AA was. Great start to the franchise.

3 and a half stars for the Wu Tang song

Besides a few key fumbles this was pretty much the perfect sequel. The best DR has to offer.

If not for the ending case and the prologue this would be a 4 at best. Only case I mildly enjoyed in the middle was case 2
