2007

Easy to learn, hard to master. Community runs this game so there's virtually endless amounts of content. Current client runs on duct tape though but a new one coded from scratch is in development.

Good writing, amazing music. Gameplay gets stale when "fighting" repeat monsters but aside from that it's great.

The beginning of a journey, sets up a pretty good series. This game is showing its age though.

Great action, fixes pretty much every issue I had with the first game

Unique battle system but this game is grindy and overstays its welcome quickly. Recommend atleast reading a summary of the story since it sets up a lot of the Kingdom Hearts 2 story.

Compact version of World with faster movement throughout the map so you get into the monster hunting quicker.

Cute animal safari. Fun to throw apples on unsuspecting critters

Pokémon but you craft weapons and armor out of them. Tsukino is forever engrained in my osu! cursor.

Very lovable cast of characters. First game is kinda slow but it's very worth it for all the twists and turns unveiled in the second game.

A must-play visual novel with escape room elements. Shame they changed the final puzzle, would've loved to flip my monitor to play sudoku.

Worthy sequel to 999, ends on a cliffhanger though, and ZTD does not live up to the rest of the trilogy.

Kodaka redemption arc. Murder mystery from the viewpoint of a crippling porn addict. Expect lots of suspense and zero sense.

Amazing JRPG that should've been on any other platform, the third area in particular runs like shit

While this game hasn't aged the best, and lacks some much-needed features (like the ability to control your party members), it's easily worth playing despite its flaws. The atmosphere during the final act is perfect and might be my favorite act throughout the entire franchise.
