Started well. Got boring soon
I spent 3-4 hours paying the first missions.
Maybe it was the controllers that felt a bit clunky, maybe it was me not used playing vehicle simulation games, but I didn't have much fun piloting the mech.
It felt very different from hack 'n slash games I'm more used to.
The deal breaker was the overwhelming customization options. I had the feeling the game wanted me to spend way too much time in the customization menus. Not an option for someone with only 1-2 hours a day for playing games.

Over the past few weeks getting my Switch in the evening and progressing the different character's story is what I've been looking forward to the most.

A cozy and relaxing visual novel. The story is good enough to make you stick to the end, but it's not something that will leave a mark tho.
Best all-time 2D Mario. Every level is different, playful, and a big surprise!

Stunning pixel art, the best I've ever seen. Great music. The story, characters, and combat mechanics are good enough to keep you going.
Getting the true ending felt too much of a chore, so I just watched it on yt.
Overall a really good game, but will not leave a mark as much as Chained Echoes, another retro-inspired RPG from last year.

This game is fantastic in so many things: visuals, graphics, direction, music, and more. The whole idea is also very original and well-implemented... And yet, even if on purpose and well-executed, I found the lack of logic and twisted reality a bit too much to digest.
Also, while the game is very entertaining the gameplay is pretty shallow and repetitive.
Last but not least I was a bit disappointed by the ending. After such a journey I would have liked something more conclusive.

Good game with very creative and original puzzles. Right level of difficulty, it doesn't overstay its welcome. The story is a bit "meh"

very fun game with great ost. the story sucked, but who cares? you don't play sonic for the story
