This is the best 2D Mario since SMB3. It is the most fun I've had with a Mario property. It was nostalgic in all the right ways, but also so, so fresh. The level design is inspired, the audio design is on another level, and the new Wonder seeds are so much fun to go for. Completing it felt so natural, nothing got repetitive and it just felt joyous to play.

This game is just incredible. It's the first just improved. While I fully understand why this game wasn't game of the year (I agree BG3 definitely deserved it) this game was just perfect to play. It just feels so good to complete everything, its satisfying to unlock new things, and it feels so rewarding with a strong story to support it. A near perfect video game.

To preface, I am terrible at fighting games. I love them, but I am a scrub at all fighting games and just cannot get the timing and frame perfect pressing down to be good at these games. With that said, this is my favorite fighting game. It feels so accessible and it teaches you these things in a fun, engaging way. For fighting game vets, I'm not sure how you will feel, but for people interested in fighting games but maybe don't feel confident in them, this game is awesome. I highly recommend using SF6 as your jumping in point for fighting games.

Hate to give this game a 2.5 but it doesn't deserve anything more in my opinion. It still plays incredibly well and feels just like OW but everything surrounding this game and it's lack of adding, rather removing more than adding, makes this a pitiful excuse for a game.

Waiting 2+ years to play this game was obnoxious and should never have happened, but it was absolutely worth the wait. This is easily one of my top 5 games of all time. The feeling of getting into it reminded me of playing Skyrim or Nier for the first time. Nier being a work of art and Skyrim being a massive playground, Cyberpunk feels like it hits both notes perfectly. The gameplay is exciting and grows with you, the story is solid but is mostly carried by the incredible performances of the main cast, Keanu Reeves is so good in this. I worried he would be just Keanu in a video game but he really loses himself in the role of Johnny Silverhand and it works so well. As awful of a launch as this game had (specifically on consoles), they have done everything to repair that tarnished image of the game. I don't know if CDPR will ever fully recover but for this game, I cannot recommend it enough.

What a force of a game. This is still, 3 years in, the definitive way to experience all that the PS5 has to offer. The speed of animation, the fluidity of transitions, everything feels so clean and tight. The story is a fun little jaunt, nothing groundbreaking but serviceable to show off the characters. The gameplay is astounding, I have played through most of the Ratchet and Clank games and this one feels the best to use as many different weapons as possible. Rotating weapons mid battle is just so good here and everything is truly a pleasure.

The perfect game. I have bought this game on every console and will sing it's praises forever. I love this game and finally platinumed it on Playstation and can, with all my heart, say, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME TO TRY TO COMPLETE. Play it at your own place and enjoy it, playing to complete it as fast as possible takes away so much joy that it really isn't worth it unless you've played it multiple times before.

I loved this game. I thought every detail in the environment was gorgeous, I loved the story, and I loved the characters. That said, I fully understand the people who hated the story. It takes a massive turn that comes early and hits very bluntly. My opinion, though, has been that this series has always been Ellie's story, not Joel's. So upon Joel's death, it felt like they were really driving this point home. I will concede that playing as Abbie for half the game is jarring, but for myself it felt great. It was a cool change of narrative and brought more empathy to the perceived antagonist. I will say, this furthered my thought that a.) this is Ellie's story and having to shift to another point of view allows you to better understand the actions she's taken, and b.) there are no "good guys" or "bad guys" in these games. Yes, there are of course people who are truly villainous, however, the main players are neither good or bad, they simply survive. I know there is plenty of hate and I will not take that away from anyone, however, to me, this game was fantastic and furthered my interest in The Last of Us as a narrative.

What an outstanding experience. I had not played the original so my view was not one based on how it compares to the original. This game was campy in just the right ways, ways that stay true to the Resi formula but also more aligned with the more serious tone of the other two remakes. This game strikes such a fun balance between difficulty, action, and resource management. I enjoyed every second of platinuming this game.

Perfect. Literally the perfect mobile game. I know it's probably better on console or PC but as a mobile game, I have not played one that is as enjoyable as this.

This is now the definitive way to play the original Last Of Us story. It is so clean and tight that it cannot be understated. I was very much against this remake at first, it made no sense. The remastered on PS4 was perfectly fine, and it still is in a lot of ways. However, this version feels so, so much better in my opinion. The graphics are insane, the controls feel less clunky, and yet the story stays perfectly in tact. If you've played the remastered or the original on PS3 and loved the story enough to replay it, give this a shot. It does not disappoint.

I really enjoyed my time with this game. It was short and sweet but it definitely was more of an expansion than a new game, so bundling it with the original remastered Spider-Man was a solid decision. I do not believe this would have been worth it for 60 or 70 on it's own but for 50 and the remastered, it was definitely worth it.

This is the definitive VR experience, in my opinion. It is such a blast to play, trying to reach new high scores. Highly recommend!

This is a fun little jaunt into the world of Infamous. I haven't played the originals and Second Son was my introduction to the series, so I am not an authority on Infamous games, however, I did love Second Son and this is a short story of my favorite character from Second Son, Fetch. This DLC is a wonderful, bite-sized taste of what Fetch can do. I really enjoyed playing through the story and completion was rather simple, just enough to not become monotonous. My only complaint is I would have liked the story to be more fleshed out. Overall, very solid experience.

Artful Escape is visually gorgeous, just an absolute stunner to look at. It's a trippy, space opera influenced short story and I really love that about it. The cast is filled with crazy talent (though I prefer more when the VA's are professionals, but mixing in cinematic actors here and there is always nice) and it really feels like there was a great deal of heart put into this game. My main gripe is that there really isn't much to do besides walk right, hit the jump button, and, if you're feeling spicy, hold square to continuously play the guitar. I understand it is more of a short story so the actual gameplay is not the priority but when I think of short stories, my gold standard is VA11 Hall-A as that games story is gripping AND the gameplay is very unique in that you are simply mixing drinks but attention to the characters of the story dictates what to make for them. Here, it's Simon Says at best. Overall, there is a lot to enjoy in here and if you want something quick and easy to shut your brain off to, it's worth it. If you are looking for depth in the gaming mechanics, look elsewhere.
