This review is going after having played the game in March of 2023 after all the gamebreak/unnerving patches from release as I never experience that era since I waited to play this game, however I am (when writing this) in the era where a SAVE WIPING glitch happens after the most recent patch.

To talk about Pokemon Scarlet I need to be clear and say that Arceus was a step forward in the right direction, and I have to say that this game is another step forward as well.

I think a big thing Gamefreak and the Pokemon Company did was allow the players to explore the entirety of the Paldean Region on their own free whim is great. Allowing you to take on whichever Gym Leader you want, or capture and pokemon of any high level regions whenever.

The game introduces the player to the School of Naranja (Scarlet) /Ula (Violet) where kids go to school to learn about basic STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math but most focused on Pokemon aspects.

I have to say the school has a lot of unique characters to learn from but, sadly the school seemed to be thought out the most and least, in the sense of how little actual time you spend in school. Of course the point of Pokemon is to Capture, fight, Collect, become the Number 1, and stop any earth shattering/ crisis event from continuing.

In Pokemon Scarlet, the game gives you the legendary pokemons of Miraidon/Koraidon early on in the game for traversal that allows for progression to different regions, there are many new pokemon and region variants to collect, as well as returning old mons from previous games.

The gameplay also features a sort of blend of Pokemon Legends Arceus gameplay of traversal and physcially seeing the pokemon, with old style gameplay of running into pokemon, however unlike in Legends Arceus, while you can throw pokeballs at wild pokemon, it's only really for battling, as you cannot catch from the overworld sadly.
The game features a new gymic transformation which is called terastallize which changes the type and boosts type attacks of certain pokemon while giving them this crystal like appearance with a chandler on their head. Throughout the region you can find wild terstallized pokemon to catch.

The story of the game is split into 3 parts where it introduces you to 3 friends you'll be helping on your individual journey in different aspects that all collide towards the end.
These being:

Nemona - Battle obsessed trainer who acts a bit too clingy and excited, to where people have labeled her (and probably rightfully so) a Yandere. She wishes to have an amazing all out battle with you, as well as see you become Champion and Number 1 of Paldea.

Nemonas Quest for You: Defeat all Gym Leaders, Defeat the Current Champion Getta.

Gym leaders:

1. Katy - Bug Type Gym Leader, has Light Bluish Green Teal hair, wears a bakers outfit, and is Thicc.
2. Braccius - Grass Type Gym Leader, has greenish hair, sunken eyes, and an outfit that has the texture and appearance of plants. Uses a thorn vine whip and has an obsession with art.
3. Iono - Electric type Gym Leader who has a big oversized yellow electric jacket, has light blue and pink hair, wears a blue and pink magnemite hair clips (that aren't actual magnemites). She's based on Vtubers Like Hololive or VShojo.
4. Kofu - Water Type Gym Leader who wears a big blue wave appron, is bald, has a unibrow and beard in the shape of a wave. He is a chef who cooks the best seafood, however gets easily distracted.
5. Ryme - Ghost Type Gym Leader who wears a rapper outfit with a hat, hoop earrings, and a black hoodie, has big long greyish hair, and uses a microphone for rap battles. She deals in battles via Doubles. She specialized in battle rapping and is the younger sister of Tyme (the Math Teacher at the Pokemon Academy)
6.Tulip - Pyschic Type Gym Leader who wears a white purplish dress with animated butterfly on the dress, has purple hair, and wears a lot of seductive makeup. She works as a fashion and beauty models.
7. Grusha - Ice Type Gym Leader who wears a Yellowish Snow Jacket, a Big Red and Blue Scarf with a wool Pokeball at the end of the scarf that covers his face, he has blue hair and blue eyes, and has a somewhat feminine appearance.
He spends most of his time being cold and negative with his cynicism after his career ending injury from snow boarding.
8. Larry - Normal Type User, wears a black suit, has a brief case, has standing hair, and looks depressed. He's a normal office worker and something else... but he hates working, and wants time with his wife. He loves sushi, and is generic looking but is the best Gym Leader.

After defeating the Gym Leaders you head to victory Road to face the Elite 4 and the Champion:

1. Rika - Long green pony tail, wears a suit vest that gives her a male appearance but her face gives away her feminine side. She Specializes in ground type pokemon, she treats Poppy like a little sister, treats Larry as an employee however she sort looks down on him since he's so disorganized and unmotivated most of the time, and gets a bit annoyed by Hassels overreaction.

2. Poppy - Short little girl who wears a farm girl outfit who's specializes in Steel type pokemon, she acts as the little sister of the Elite Four, with her getting along best with everyone in the elite 4.

3. Larry - Not only is he a gym leader, but he's also an Elite Four Member!!! And he hates doing both since it causes him to have to work more. He uses flying type pokemon. When beaten Rika pesters him to call out Hassel but due to Larry's indifference to winning and losing, calls out Hassel but very monotonely, forcing Rika to have to call out Hassel. He congratulates you but gets constantly interrupted.

4. Hassel - Art Teacher of Naranja/Uva who specializes in Dragon type Pokemon, he's over the top on his artistic expression and gets overly emotional when you beat him. He gets along well with all the Elite 4 Members, but gets annoying to Larry.

5. Getta - Wears a black, gold, and blue suit outfit, and has big long hair with yellow highlights, has dark skin with blue eyes and in general an awful champion who's very bland. She acts as the Chairwoman of the Paldea League. She's legit generic and forgettable.

After fighting all gym leaders and elite 4, and Getta, you will face Nemona one last time for a final exciting all out battle with Nemona having a fully evolved starter and her other pokemons, she's truly a worthy opponent (unless if you know type advantages and are using Skeledirge who can wipe out her entire team lol).

She realizes you're the best and promises to get stronger, and that you'll be her rival for life.

Penny - Shy girl who has short Blue Red hair, wears a hoodie and has a Eevee backpack. Victim of bullying along with other students and creates the enemy group of this game, Team Stars. She's the head of the group however wants to take them down since they lost sight of what they were her allias is Cassiopeia.

Penny's Quest for You: Destroy Team Star, and Defeat Her

Team Stars Team Consists of:
1. Mela (Fire User) - Red Head with big red, firey boots who acts like a Punk/Goth girl. Who has aspects of being a tsundere and shy. She was bullied for being too cute, and a Charadet she played with in the past brings her back to her senses after her defeat.

2. Giacomo - DJ dude wearing a black hoodie, a hat, and headphones while holding a laptop to make songs for Team Stars. Acts as the secondary leader of Team Stars. He's very anti rules since the reason for his bullying was because when he was president of the School, he was too strict and made a lot of ridiculous rules. The school turned against him and voted him out and replaced him with Nemona, he joined team stars to be free and be rule-less.

3. Atticus - Purple cloak/ninja outfit wearing dude who uses Poison type Pokemon. He created the outfits team stars wears. Reason for his bullying was liking old timey things.

4. Ortega - Flamboyant Pink Suit wearing, short pink hair popping looking dude. Very flamboyant in terms of how he's dressed but also very pompus in attitude. He's responsible for how the StarMobiles for all the Team Star Members look. He was bullied because of his appearance and over the top look, and perhaps since he might be gay. (thought this last part is headcanon but makes sense if he is.)

5. Eri - Tall, white haired, Princess, musclar, queen girl who wears facepaint.
She's team Stars mother figure and is responsible for Team Stars Grunts getting the training they needed. She was bullied for being the number 1 athlete and pretty girl who was bullied by Carmen, the head bully turned Team Star Grunt friend.

6. Penny - Head of Team Star, wears a grey hoodie, an eevee backpack, wears glasses, and has red and blue hair. Her pokemon consists of Eeveelutions, and she's responsible for the formation of Teams Stars. She formed it because she was a victim of bullying and joined with the other members to bully the bullies, however this caused said other bullies to quit school. She's an expert at hacking and has a arrogant personality and very stiff.

Arven: Wears a blue vest and a big yellow backpack, has big brownish/grey hair and blue eyes. Is a bit of a jerk but tragic later on, and becomes the most likably tragic character. His goal is to find out what happened to his mother/father (depending on the version of the game) Professor Sada (Mother) and Turo (Father). And his other goal is to revive and save his dog Mabosstiff.

Quest for the Player: Defeat all titan pokemon in certain locations to locate magical herbs to save Mabosstiff and return Koraidon (Scarlet)/ Miraidon (Violet) old abilities.
Later travel to area Zero to find out the truth of Paradox Pokemon and Miraidons/Koraidons mysterious origin.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

After completing all 3 quests you're ready for the finale and learn about the Great Crater and area Zero. Where we find Paradox pokemon of both Ancient and Future Pokemon appearing depending on your version (Ancient = Scarlet, Future = Violet).

Ancient Pokemon Include:

1. Great Tusk - Primal Donphan
2. Scream Tail - Primal Jigglypuff
3. Brute Bonnet - Primal Amoonguss
4. Flutter Mane - Primal Misdreavus
5. Slither Wing - Primal Volcarona
6. Sandy Shocks - Primal Magneton
7. Roaring Moon - Primal Mega Salamence
8. Koraidon - Scarlet Legendary true Primal Ancient Form

Future Pokemon Include:
1. Iron Treads - Robotic Donphan
2. Iron Bundle - Robotic Delibird
3. Iron Hands - Robotic Hariyama
4. Iron Jugulis - Robotic Hydreigon
5. Iron Moth - Robotic Volcarona
6. Iron Thorns - Robotic Tyranitar
7. Iron Valiant - Robotic Mega Gallade/Gardevoir
8. Miraidon - Violet Legendary true Robotic Future Form

Penny, Arven, Nemona, and the player all agree to head to area Zero and see what happened to the researches and Professor Sada/Turo, Area Zero being this underground very beautiful yet unnerving land lost in time. You head to different research bases opening the doors of the main center base where more Ancient/Future Pokemon appear. We then meet Professor Sada/Turo but it's not really them but an AI of them as we learn that the original Sada/Turo died due to their arrogance and ego of harnessing the past/future of pokemon. The Ai themselves wants the time machine that the researches and Original Sada/Turo created to be deactivated and destroyed.

You face against them for a final emotional finale which results in the soul of Sada/Turo to take over the Ai's body for a final battle, as the AI no longer wishes to fight and is sad of the situation.

After defeat Sada/Turo sees Arven and gets emotion and decides the only way to destroy the machine is to enter it so that no one can ever activate it again, and does so telling Arven... they love him so much.

As You, Penny, Nemona, and Arven walk home all of you reminisce on the adventure, and realize instead of thinking about the past or worrying about the future, its better to enjoy the present. As the game fades to white the credits role.

What a great end.

The game has post game that involves the school getting together for a pokemon tournament which has you face Arven, a teacher from the school, Dendra the PE teacher, and finally Getta again, as you're crowned the #1 trainer of Paldea. And thats it (pretty lame ngl, though DLC will explore more of the region and perhaps return to Kalos since theres an area of the game greyed out that clearly IRL looks like the connection point of SPAIN and FRANCE, with Paldea being Spain, and Kalos being France, so most likely the DLC will return to Kalos to some capacity.

The game overall was enjoyable to play and has constant raids to keep you wanting to play more. The raids themselves can be special as the most recent raids have included 2 new Legendaries depending on the version, however you're able to obtain both as soon as you beat them, these being:

1. Walking Wake - Primal Suicune (Scarlet)
2. Iron Leaves - Robot Virizion

The game was an enjoyable romp that has a big issues in terms of the state of release it was in, and the patches fixing certain problems, but also causing other big ones as well.

The freedom of traversal is great however each individual questline felt like it's own thing instead of interconnected with the best story... that being Arven, Sada/Turo, Mabostiff, Area Zero, Ancient/Future Pokemon, and the Secret of Koraidon/Miraidon.

Still in terms of expanding and taking a step forward in the franchise I have to say it's worth the 4.5 Stars Im giving it.
I'm excited to see what more Gamefreak/The Pokemon Company are planning to do with this new style of gameplay, but also to make sure that the games run an operate properly.

I highly recommend Pokemon Scarlet (and/or Violet).

Atomic Heart is an interesting specimen when it becomes to being a game with controversy, but is very unwarranted for it being so.
Those who haven't played this game will claim this game is propaganda for communism, when it's anything but, so much so the entire game makes fun of how unfair and unbalanced communism is.

Atomic Heart takes place in the Soviet Union during 1955, in FACILITY 3826 where the area was experimenting with a new polymer and build helpful robots that were made for civilian usage.
However what happens later is that the protagonist, P-3 (Sergey), while exploring the floating city meets with his boss Sechenov who has bangable TWIN ROBOTS, who while appearing in all the promotional material, have like 2 or 3 important scenes, and have somewhat relevance to the plot.
Surgey is later taken to down to Earth via flying car but is shot down by OWLS ROBOTS, and ends up stranded in the barren and destroyed Facility 3826 overrun with deadly robots who activated "COMBAT MODE".
Surgey has his interesting taking glove named "CHAR-les" who's an intelligent artificial A.I. that helps Surgey on his adventure to stop Kollectiv 2.0 and the crazy robots.
Surgey meets with Baba Zina (Grandmother Zina in English Subs) who tells him that the robots started going crazy and killing people, and a giant robot called a BEYLASH attacks both of them, and Sergey falls into an elevator down to the bottom of a testing facility.

Here is where I can break down the game into 2 Parts, Part 1 being this specific facility with a more linear and bioshock-esk approach to level design, with Part 2 taking a more outside, open world approach.

So Part 1 has Surgey explore this underground facility looking for a way out, he encounters several robots such as "VOV-A" Units (These robots with Stalin moustaches), Pchela (these flying turrets), Dandelion cameras, mutant plant humanoids, mother sprout plants, flying sprout plants, Owl turrets for this specific underground part of the game.
There is no boss fight in this entire part. However he meets with Larisa, who saves his life from an explosion but shortly leaves after a Black suited 'VOV-A" with a lazer face appears to attack both of them.

You meet with a horny vending machine who is really erotic and is funny, here you're able to obtain different weapons, like pistols, machine guns, shotguns, and melee weapons that can be crafted only if you have said blueprint for said weapons. Most weapons can be found within this first part of the game, however the rest are found within these (Optional) underground facilities known as POLYGONS (in the game there's stated to be 8, but in the trophies, they say there are 10) [We'll discuss the trophies/achievements being broken]

You get through the first part of the game doing several different convoluted things of getting different items to open doors in the first section.
During Part 2's open world portion you will encounter more enemies such as mutants of different variants that have fire, ice, and electricity mutations. You will also encounter Laborer robots (robots with giant buzz saws), Engineers [fat robots with hoses on their faces who aren't hostile unless provoked), and missile bots.
In this part you will also encounter a rare yet deadly miniboss called, "Plyusch" which is like this organic humanoid that has tenticles and is covered in blood, it's an artificial life form created with different combinations of animal, and human internals mixed with the polymer.

You meet what you think is the main antagonist of the game, but if anything is just an antagonist, named Viktor Petrov who was blamed for activating the robots in combat mode.

During the second part of the game you have a more open free roam area to explore, that have the Polygon you are able to access in order to get more weapon parts, but if you don't care to do so you can continue with the story and encounter the first boss, which is the HEDGIE, which is sort of like a mini-omni droid from incredibles, this boss fight is extremely fun and I had a blast with it.

The game has Sergey chasing after Petrov under the orders of Sechenov, only to later learn the truth that someone activated the combat mode for the robots. Viktor asks Sergey to think about why "CIVILIAN" robots would have a COMBAT MODE, only to die shortly after and reveal shortly after a giant robot boss named NATASHA, who was absolutely, positively not created for Civilian purposes, but designed to kill.

Sergey meets with Larisa after Petrov's death to show him what Sechnov's plan is with Kollectiv and the polymer. Throughout the game Sergey enters this area/fake world called "LIMBO" which happens usually in crucial moments where Sergey's mind goes blank. We learn that Sechnov wants to use Kollectiv to cause the Soviet Union people to be used as soldiers as we finally know why the robots have combat modes.
Throughout the game we learn that the Soviet Union is selling robots to the United States in order to have the economy grow, and maintain a great relationship. However the problem is that obviously the Soviet Union and the United States hated eachother for their different governments of Communism vs Capitalism, so they sent the robots as a peace offering and for commercial usage in the US, however the plan is that they will later activate to have mass killings throughout the US by activating combat mode.

Sergey also learns that the reason throughout the game he's very rude and witty, and has negative reactions to things is because after WW2, he was essentially left without his left side of his brain, he was barely brought back because of the robotics within his brain, which is why he's randomly taken to LIMBO. We also learn that Zakharov is actually the CHAR-les A.I. Glove who was screwed over and killed by Sechenov. We finally learn that the twin robots are physical copies of Segery's wife, but they don't contain her soul/memories, so they act like robots. (Which I feel like was done because if they do DLC/a Sequel they're 100% let you fuck one of the robots, and most likely it will be RIGHT [jacket robot])

Sergey is taken back to the floating city after being sent to LIMBO again and accidently kills Larisa because when Sergey is sent to Limbo he goes on a rampage and kills everything in site.
When back on the floating city, he meets with BABA ZINA, who we learn is actually Sergey's mother-in-law and she asks him to save his wife/her daughter from that torment.
Here Sergey has a decision to say "fuck it I'm out" and kills Charles, and leaves the Soviet Union (this is clearly the noncanon ending, but is considered the good ending).
The other decision is to confront Sechenov in his office against the Twins. Sergey shares a heart to heart, silent moment with one of the Twins [RIGHT, the one without a jacket] who seems to question it's programming for a sec by letting out this ear piercing female scream.
We fight the twins once again at the top of the building, and defeat both of them. Sergey shoots Sechenov, and the truth is revealed to us that CHAR-les/Zakharov was the one to activate combat mode, and is also this humanoid polymer dude who was planning on destroying humanity because he saw the polymer and robots as the future of humanity. Sergey is seemingly put into a coma and sent into LIMBO, as the physcial polymer humanoid Zakharov kills Sechenov.

Sergey awakens in Limbo and hears his wife's voice, and see's one of the TWIN Robots, LEFT [specifically the yellow jacket Twin] calling out to Sergey, reaching out to him. This implying that her soul (which was represented by this gelatinous floating blob) and representation of her physical self have combined once again. After Sergey reaches out and grabs her hand, the game cuts to black.

This game will have DLC, which most likely will take place after the base vanilla game's bad ending. Where I believe the main villain will be Zakharov, and with the help of Sergey's wife, Katya in the body OF LEFT [Yellow Jacket Twin] both will take down and stop what essentially amounts to ROBOT HITLER/STALIN.
And if they do go this route, considering how thirsty fans are for the twins, 100% they'll probably have a cutscene where Sergey bangs his robot wife in the DLC, since they might as well capitalize on that horniness in the DLC.

Gameplay:
Standard fps, bioshock survival game, where you have different weapons you can use to defend yourself.
Weapons include (I'm not going to break down the names, more so just say the weapons included):

- Pistol
- EMP Pistol
- AK-47 type Machine gun
- Pump Shotgun
- Rocket Launcher
- Rail Gun
- Plasma Blaster
- Axe
- Buzzsaw Bat
- Rusted Metal Sword
- Drill Bat

All of these weapons feel unique and fun to play with, but for the most part you'll be using your melee weapons as conserving ammo is important, especially when having to deal with bosses.
Gunplay itself is very good and fun to play with, it essentially plays like a standard fps in terms of the gunplay.

Your glove CHAR-les acts as a skill tree that allows you to use different abilities such as Freezing, Electricity, telekinesis, Polymer Shield, and polymer blast (this one is used for solving puzzles within the Polygons, but can be used with other abilities to do combo attacks, though you'll rarely use this polymer ability).

The game has the open world sections which is nice to explore, and you can even drive vehicles, however it's pretty dumb that the DEV team didn't think to include other vehicles of different varieties in terms of ground vehicles. Also it's very dumb the only cars you can drive are RED CARDs, because as we all know, EVERY HUMAN OWNS A RED CAR apparently, so that's dumb.

The Polygons are essentially 8 recycled areas that have different puzzles to solve, but with the same rewards in terms of opening BRONZE, SILVER, and GOLD Chests which contain different weapon parts. In terms of Puzzles they're fun, but at the same time, the facilities these take place in have a bit of dissonance to the overall environment as you have to think about how "this is a facility/testing area, why would scientist use such a convolutedly built facility to test things out."

The Boss fights are fun as hell, they're seriously some of the best parts of the game, as each boss is uniquely different and each have their quirks that make them difficult to take down.

The characters themselves I will say are ok at best, however I do appreciate that for the protagonist of Sergey, that they explain why he's such an asshole during the beginning half of ATOMIC HEART.
As of course we learned half of his brain his missing, his LEFT BRAIN (which is all about logic), however he only has his right brain, which focuses one emotion. It's one of the reasons that logically, it takes longer for Sergey to understand something, and he usually ends up not doing so because mentally HE LITERALLY CAN'T which is why he gets emotionally angry.
Sechenov is a interesting antagonist, as we know he's not actually the main villain but doesn't really do anything to not make himself an asshole, he still attempts to have Sergey killed, and while it was when Sergey was planning on killing him, I find it strange he never attempted to contact Sergey before hand to tell him what happened.
CHAR-les/Zakharov being the main villain good twist as we just assume that he's an A.I. who wasn't effected. However even if you saw it from a mile away, the way they do it is by subverting expectations. You think it's just a rogue A.I. but we see that it's not an A.I. at all but a sentient polymer that was split into 2 parts for Zakharov, his mental/soul self which is the grey metallic polymer pretending to be a glove A.I., and his physical polymer body, which is a red fat, tentacled body, which combine.
Viktor Petrov is a strange, tragic character who for the most part comes across as an emotional cry baby, but has good intentions, but goes insane after Larisa breaks up with him and she finds out that he did activate a couple of bots, but is not at fault for the entire mass execution of Soviet people.
Larisa is another character who isn't really likable in the sense of, she's there for exposition if anything, and the only character she does show is that of a brainwash soviet scientist who believed in all of the things being created and tested at Facility 3826, to a rebel wanting to stop the harm and destruction of humanity. She's also tragic since she did plan on helping Sergey confront Sechenov, however she is killed as Sergey mentally entered LIMBO again, but his physically body brutally murdered her.
Baba Zina is a great character, coming across as caring, and funny, but also knows more than she lets off in terms of the Soviet Government, and her connection to Sergey and Katya.

The Twins have no character in terms that they are just physical copies of Katya in terms of her skills as a Ballerina. Katya is heard throughout LIMBO watching Sergey. I feel like her story will be expanded upon in the DLC with her perhaps gaining a physical form in terms of LEFT [YELLOW JACKET TWIN] being the body she uses, as the TWINS were never destroyed, just deactivated. And at the end of the true ending, we see that she takes the form of LEFT.

The game has a lot of bugs in terms of sometimes falling can result in endless falling and being stuck inside rocky areas, and vehicles, and walls that require you to reload a previous save, and/or quit to menu in order to make sure not to do that again.
The biggest issue is the TROPHIES/ACHIEVEMENT that are straight up broken. You might notice that some of the trophies/achievements (AS OF WRITING THIS) have 0.00% of people who have obtain them because some of the trophies don't work. Simple trophies like Killing 20 enemies by running them over, Shoot 3 enemies with a single rail gun shot, collect all apples in LIMBO, create all consumable items, don't work.

In terms of how they don't work, the counters for the trophies/achievements were never turned on correctly, so 20 Vehicle Kills and 3 in 1 Rail Guns don't work, but in terms of the others I mentioned they accidently added more requirements for the trophies.

For the "CREATE ALL CONSUMABLE" Trophy/achievement, it says you need to create 8 different consumables... there are only 6 in the game.
For the LIMBO APPLES, the trophy says 114, there are only 99.

This part is the only part I can say is unacceptable, and is pathetic on behave of the team.

Regardless I enjoyed my time with ATOMIC HEART, it doesn't warrent the controversy it got, as even though there are tensions with RUSSIA in the world right now, the developers are Russians who don't support the Russian Government's actions. Also this game makes fun of the propaganda of communism and reveals the truth about it.

The story is good for the most part, the gameplay is fun, the characters range from Garbage to Meh to Great, the TWISTS in the game are really good, and overall I found myself enjoying my time with it. I will say though, I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING WITH ENGLISH VOICES. The english voice for Sergey is unbareable, and the game works so much better with Russian voices. I recommend if you're going to play ATOMIC HEART, do it with RUSSIAN VOICES.

I hope the DLC continues the story and has Katya help in some way, like I said, having her appear as LEFT would be great.
Also I want to see how the story fully ends in terms of the DLC.

I do think though they committed a cardinal sin though with having the DLC focusing more on the story in terms of the true ending. What I mean by cardinal sin is they essentially did what Capcom with Asuras Wrath story, where the final episodes of the true antagonist, the 3 extra/final episodes, and the true ending were locked behind DLC. I don't like the fact that it seems that's what the DEVs did here. But who knows maybe the DLC has nothing to do with what happens in terms of the active story, and takes place at a different time. Maybe the story I'm thinking of Sergey and Katya (in LEFT TWIN Body) stopping Zakharov from killing humanity, is being saved for a sequel instead, we'll see.

I would recommend ATOMIC HEART, but wait a couple of weeks when the patches are implemented, still I enjoyed my time with it, the bugs are a big deal, so I can't give it more or less than 3.5 stars.

Persona 2 Eternal Punishment is the continuation of the story of Persona 2 Innocent Sin. This game works as the Part 2 of the 2 Part Persona 2 story (however technically there are Parts 1.5 [Persona 2 Tsumi: Lost Memories) and 2.5 [Persona 2 Batsu: Infinity Mask]) and concludes the story in a somewhat positive and beautiful, yet tragic way.

Persona 2 Eternal Punishment picks up sometime after Persona 2 Innocent Sin however this time, instead of controlling Tatsuya, you control Maya instead.

In this situation, Maya becomes a silent protagonist that occasionally has player choice dialogue, however her own voice takes a backseat and instead we are now able to hear Tatsuya's thoughts and voice.

The characters in this game who you play as are as follows:

Maya Amano - Reporter who investigates the rumors, she has memories of the OTHER SIDE but can seem to remember properly. She has a connection to Tatsuya Suou but she doesn't know the reason. She gives hope and positivity to the group and is the leader.
Arcana: The Moon

Ulala Serizawa: Maya's best friend who is amazing at boxing, she's very girly considering her appearance but can also be hotheaded. She struggles due to being conned by a conartist boyfriend, and is jealous of Maya's life style. She still loves and cares for Maya, and gets along well with Katsuya and Baofu. She wants to be as strong as Maya mentally and pushes herself to do that.
Arcana: The Star

Katsuya Suou: Katsuya is a detective/police officer in Sumaru City, and is the older brother of Tatsuya. He's very serious and is attempting to find out the truth of his fathers death. He is motivated in solving the Rumors case, and also is attempting to help his brother who appears to be getting involved with the rumors, Tatsuzou Sudou, and other events. He wears a grey suit with a red suit shirt and a black tie. Katsuya secretly loves Maya.
Arcana: Justice

Baofu (Kaoru Saga): An extortionist and tap buster who claims to be Taiwanese. He has a hatred for the Tien Tao Lien (Chinese Mafia), and has a regrets over something that happen in his past with his partner Miki. He is very techsavy and great at wire tapping conversations. He butt heads a lot with Katsuya due to them sharing opposite ideologies when it comes to justice however both come to respect eachother. He gets along well with Maya, however is always chastised and gets beat up by Ulala. He wears a yellow detective style jacket, with Bluish sun glasses and has really long black hair.
Arcana: The Hanged Man

Kei Nanjo: Returning member of Persona 1. He is now the owner/leader of the Nanjo group and is attempting to stop the New World Order in order to stop the rumor incidents from happening in Sumaru City. He still loves all his friends from Saint Hermelins, and has Eriko as his assistant. He always cherishes the moments from Persona 1, and he also respects Naoya Toudou and always remembers him for how he motivated everyone. Nanjo is so happy to see Maki and Reiji alive and well and willing to help him out, Nanjo cherishes all his friends. He sports a motorcycle outfit and wears a helmet in this game.
Arcana: The Hierophant

Eriko Kirishima: Returning member from Persona 1. Eriko is now working as a model and actress. Depending on whether you choose for her or Nanjo to appear is based upon what rumor you spread. Her personality is mature yet still girly for the most part. Like Nanjo she cherishes the memories from her past at Saint Hermelins and remembers Naoya. She still loves him very much so much so she shares a rivalry with Maki over who loves Naoya more.
She is now wearing a badge outfit with long sleeves and short shorts, she now also has a short hair.
Arcana: Judgement

Tatsuya Suou: Herald of the Sin, he's from the OTHER SIDE who's taken control of Tatsuya Suou of THIS SIDE's body inorder to prevent the world from ending in this universe. He tries to keep Maya and the group away from him and doesn't want Maya, Lisa, Eikichi, and Jun to regain their memories of the other side. He makes the ultimate sacrifice to allow for the new universe to live happily, while his world is doomed for eternity. He loves and cares about Maya, Lisa, Eikichi, and Jun that he bares the sin of the other world. He wears a red jacket with a black X. He has a mark of sin on him that's like a black tattoo.
Arcana: The Sun

The game's story has to do with the spread of Rumors and how rumors are becoming reality and getting worse, similar to the first game however in this situation the rumors are specifically about Jokers. Throughout the game you'll meet several familiar faces from the previous entries, like previous Persona 1 characters, and appearances of Eikichi, Lisa, and Jun who take a back seat in terms of the story.
However the good reason as to why they take a backseat in the story is due to them playing a big part in the overarching story in Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, with the need of having their memories be forever locked away in order to make sure that the fate that befell the world in Innocent Sin, not to happen in this new time.

The Innocent Sin world is called "THE OTHER SIDE" (Aka the original side)

In Persona 2: Eternal Punishment it's explained to us that Jokers are corrupted Personas that sap the energy of negativity, hatred, and malice thoughts of those who it's infecting. The reason being is because in this universe Tatsuzou Sudou, leader of the New World Order wants to unleash Kiyotada Sumaru/Gozen to destroy the world with the 12 dragons. His son Tatsuya Sudou in this timeline has become a pawn and a joker of Nyarlathotep trolling Tatsuya in his endeavor to save this timeline.

The story starts at Seven Sisters High with Maya Amano, her friend Ulala Serizawa, and Tatsuya's older brother detective, Katsuya Suou, investigating a recent murder that was pinned on Anna Yoshizaka (returning from Innocent Sin, however in this timeline she's a regular student, as a opposed to a member of the Masked Circle).
We find out Tatsuya Sudou pinned the murder on Anna and attempts to kill her, on the way Maya, Ulala, and Tatsuya unlock their respective Personas, and Tatsuya saves Anna and tells Maya not to interfere nor remember the memories of her past.

Maya, Ulala, and Katsuya travel throughout Sumaru city and meet with another Persona user, Baofu (also known as Kaoru Saga) who is a techsavy who claims to be Taiwanese, and he wants to take out the leader of the Taiwanese Mafia of Tien Tao Lien, Yung Pao for something that happened in Baofu's past.

They go through similar situations as the Masked Circle in Innocent Sin, like for example, the burning of the Museum where Maya, Ulala, Katsuya, and Baofu save children from the burning Museum, and Tatsuya appears again to save them against Tatsuya Sudou, where a similar boss fight like in Innocent Sin happens against him, where he meets the same fate.

The game continues with antics like Ulala getting infected by the Joker virus, due to what happens with her Ex-conman boyfriend. She is saved and the parasite is removed by having her being taken to the Velvet Room.

After being left stuck without any clues, Katsuya gets info from "SNEAK" a police officer giving information about the corrupt police who are actually apart of the NEW WORLD ORDER. He gives them photos of 2 persona users (Eriko and Nanjo from Persona 1) the group gets the idea to contact 2 Persona users associated with the SEBEC Incident in Persona 1. [Here the choice is up to you as to whole will appear. If you spread a rumor that it's a man, Nanjo will appear. If you spread a rumor that it's a woman Eriko will appear.]
They all head to the bar in Parabellum, and theres a chance of Kei Nanjo or Eriko Kirishima to appear and have the situation explained to them. Here they become your 5th member throughout most of the game.
In Nanjos situation they head to Nanjo's facility because he heard how they were doing experiments on people.
The group infiltrates a Nanjo facility, and we see the return of Maki and Reiji who want to help as much as they can, as Nanjo is so happy to see them. In the facility they see that Eikichi was captured since one of his friends was taken and experimented on. Eikichi doesn't recognize Maya but asks the group to save his friend and to have him tag along.
The group find out the true intention of the New World Order and that is to unleash Gozen by sucking out the evilness and sin of the humans. That and attempting to fuse their bodies with that of Personas, which angers Nanjo when they find out what they're doing at one of his facilities.
Here we see the return of Persona 1's villain, Kandori who has also become a pawn of Nyarlathotep however he goes by his own volition, with Nanjo attempting to save him in a later part of the game during the boat sequence.

In Eriko's sequence of events the group head to Sumaru TV to stop Chizuru Ishigami, who is also apart of the new world order. In this situation, Eriko gets help from Hidehiko "Brown" Usegi (from Persona 1) whos always happy to help a fellow friend from the past.

The group after finding out the truth of the New World Orders plan attempt to stop and save Tatsuya from the robots, since Tatsuya is attempting to stop Tatsuzou from escaping and to try to change his fate (which he doesn't).

The group escape with Tatsuya and Tatsuya tells them what's going on by heading to Mount Iwato, where everyone's past is revealed, as well as Maya's past memories of the other side are unlocked. Tatsuya also explains that he is from The Other Side and is merely using This Sides Tatsuya's body in order to save everyone. Tatsuya feeling remorseful and sad because he's afraid of what might happen to Maya and his friends again. Tatsuya explaining that it's his sin to bare. Maya cheers Tatsuya up and so does his brother Katsuya, Ulala, and Baofu. Eriko/Nanjo take their leave saying, they'll protect what they need to in order to have a better future, and leave.

The group now consists of Maya, Ulala, Katsuya, Baofu, and Tatsuya who head to Xaliba in order to stop the Masked circle. Fighting against soldiers and grotesque mutants. The later fight at the top of the newly formed Sumaru Castle where the group fight against a mutated Tatsuzou, and later against Gozen to stop the destruction of the world.

Nyarlathotep [now appearing as Tatsuya with his Innocent Sin School Uniform outfit with glowing yellow eyes] says he's seen enough and taunts Tatsuya, Maya and co by making fun of the fact that Tatsuya is attempting to change the fate of the world, and challenges him to one final game. He reveals he's captured Eikichi, Lisa, and Jun, and that rule of the game is to not have their memories be revealed or else the world will become the same as the Innocent Sin world.

In my playthough I decided realistically the only one who should never remember their memories is Jun since regardless of what you do, his memories will never be restored, but I decided to have Lisa and Eikichi remember since it's realistic, heartwarming, and sad when they find out.

Nyarlathotep attempts to cause Eikichi and Lisa's memories to be restored by taunting Katsuya, Ulala, Baofu, and Maya with Shadow versions of themselves and their true inner feelings. Depending on your choices here, it can cause Eikichia and Lisa to regain their memories, depending on the right and wrong choices.
I purposefully chose the wrong choices since I wanted them to make sure they remember and to mourn for the loss of their friend/ Lisa's Other side lover.

At the end the 5 fight against Nyarlathotep who is defeated and can't believe that he actually lost, he disappears yet tells him that if Jun were to remember, everything would revert back to the world where he won. As Jun falls and Philemon catches him, Jun's memories will never be restored.

Here is where Tatsuya of the Other Side states his purpose is done and that he's happy he was able to save everyone in this timeline, he plants a kiss on Maya, and tells everyone to live their lives, as his souls is transfer back to his body in the Innocent Sin world. As everyone sadly watches.

The epilogue of the game has Maya finishing up a personal report as she is later told by a fellow employee that she has a a new assignment and has a positive outlook on it. We then cut to Baofu and Ulala now working as detectives, as Baofu visits the grave of his dead partner, as Ulala hurries him up for another mission but also tells Miki, "I'll take care of Baofu for you", it then shows the Persona 1 gang meeting at Parabellum, as Nanjo, Eriko, Maki, Reiji, Hidehiko, and Yukino all meet up together to reminisce and meet up, we then hear the door open and Eriko and Maki welcome their past crush of Naoya Toudou (Boy with Earring). [He is seen on screen in terms of a flashback with Nanjo and Eriko as a teenager in his Saint Hermelins, however as an adult we never see him, we only see Maki and Eriko greeting him as romance rivals].

[This next epilogue is dependent on whether or not you revealed Eikichi and Lisa's memories] We cut to Ayala Shrine where Eikichi and Lisa are crying, saying "You always had to do it by yourself Tatsuya, you didn't have to bare all that pain and sin on your own!"
They cry as they mourn the loss of the original world and of Tatsuya of the other side, as he is the only one who's stuck their to bare the sin.
Jun walks up and asks why they're crying, and says he feels a pain, sadness, and sorrow but he doesn't know why. Eikichi and Lisa know not to tell him, and both state they won't cry anymore for Tatsuya's sake. However this proceeded by Lisa continuing to cry with Eikichi.

We finally cut to Tatsuya of this new world with Katsuya who talk about what Tatsuya want's to do in the future. Tatsuya ask what it's like to be a detective and asks if their deceased father would approve. The 2 talk about it and Katsuya says he'll teach Tatsuya all about being a detective, finally answering Tatsuya's question from Innocent Sin if he's decided what he wants to do in his future.

Tatsuya rides off in his motorcycle as Maya walks by in the crosswalk and sees him, she remembers the Other Side Tatsuya, and her memories, but also sees the New Tatsuya and the new world and has a positive outlook of the future. As the screen zooms in on her face and she smiles. The game cuts to white and the credits role.

The story of the game is an amazing way of finishing up the Persona 2 Story, the story is one about having hope and changing fate. The characters here are superb by having pervious characters from Persona 1 show up as well as revealing everything from 2 Innocent Sin.
Maya, Ulala, Baofu, and Katsuya are amazing characters who have their own struggles and pains to deal with however come together to bring out the best in themselves.
Tatsuya Suou is the best protagonist in all of Persona, as he is both the strongest with Time Manipulation as well as being able to cross dimensions with Apollo, but he's the most tragic as even though he was able to allow the follow of time to continue in the alternate Eternal Punishment time, he's still stuck in the Innocent Sin world on Sumaru City.

The gameplay of the game is similar to that of Innocent Sin but in terms of the battle system has a downgrade.
As instead of how Persona 1 and 2 Innocent Sin have you select what abilities you want each user you want to do one after another, here you HAVE to select them all at the same time, which can ruin the flow of combat since there isn't an auto attack this time. However combat still for the most part is faster than in 2 Innocent Sin.
The usage of Personas and obtaining them is lifted straight from Innocent Sin so it's just as easy. The rumors in this game are just as easy to use. The game does not feature a theater mode that has more content but instead you can unlock these memories of Tatsuya and what he was doing before the events of Eternal Punishment.
The soundtrack for this game is equally as amazing as in Innocent Sin and is a great addition to the franchise and the duology that is Persona 2.

Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment must be experienced together as they are both amazing titles.

If you want to experience the PSP version of this game, I recommend downloading the rom and playing it on PPSSPP as there is no other way of playing the PSP version since it was originally never released on PSP in the West.

It truly is a crime that Persona 1, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment have never been rereleased again, as all 3 of these games are absolute masterpieces.
All Persona games have something amazing in each of them, but it's truly a shame Atlus doesn't feel remasters for these 3 are needed.

I hope one day we can get proper remasters of these 3 games. If not remasters then certainly remakes, I would love to finally see Persona 1, 2 Innocent Sin, and 2 Eternal Punishment for modern audiences to experience.

I absolutely recommend Persona 2 Eternal Punishment

Sonic and the Fallen is amazing Sonic Fan game for it's original art style, soundtrack, cutscenes, story, and transitions.

The game has a total of 9 stages with 2 acts within them, with act 1 being a standard level get from point A to point B fighting a miniboss and later by crossing the goal sign, and act 2 being getting from Point A to Point B but you fight a boss at the end like in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles and push the container button to release animals.

The stages are as follows:

1. Sapphire Sights - Grasslands and Temple pieces with a bluish tint

2. Tropical Tracks - Tropical that is combine with a highway, color looks mostly like a mix of Greenhills with a highway combined

3. Discount District - a classic stylized city center that sort of looks like a combination of a classic looking Metropolis zone from Sonic Heroes/Free Riders combined with Studiopolis zone in Sonic Mania. Containing grinding rails as well, which is a treat to see in a classic styled Sonic game

4. Bubble Blossom - Combination of aspects of Marble Zone in terms of the green grass purple terrain with the background having rain with farmlands and windmills. It also has aspects of Aquatic Ruins and Hyrdocity with having an underwater area, making the stage have a transitional aspect of land and water which is really cool, and is really awesome with it's rain aesthetic.

5. Frozen Fountain - Snowy Tree and Industrial Area sort of combining White Acropolis Zone from 06 and Icecap Zone from Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Sonic Adventure.

6.Gusty Green House - Best way I can describe this zone is sort of a fusion of Mushroom Hill from Sonic 3 and Knuckles (Specifically from the 2nd Half Sonic and Knuckles) and Press Garden Zone from Sonic Mania with a color aspects of blues, greens, and yellows.

7. Carnival Crater - Sort of a Combination of Lava Reef Zone from Sonic and Knuckles and Asteroid Coaster from Sonic Colors with music that would probably fit an turnbase RPG boss than it would a Sonic stage. The stage features aspects of lava and even has rollercoasters to traverse the stage.

8. Raspberry Rivers - combines aspects of Green Hills Zone from Sonic Mania's version with aspects of Aquatic Ruins with this nice Sunset hue/filter/aesthetic.

9. Thunder Turbine - Combines Aspects of Sky Fortress Zone from Sonic 4 Episode 2 in terms of level design, with aspects of level design and esthetic from Flying Battery from Sonic 3 and Knuckles and later in Act 2 has more aesthetics from Metallic Madness from Sonic Mania's style with a blush hue.

The game's gameplay style is your standard Sonic run featuring his classic spindash from Sonic 2 and 3 and Knuckles, with his highspeed Dash from Sonic CD as well. He also has a new drop dash feature which can give you an extra boost as well.

The bosses include:

1. Wheelroach (Giant Purple Roach Badnik, use platforms to avoid it's high speed attacks)

2. Egg Boxer (Eggman Controls a floating machine with a giant white boxing glove that attempts to punch and grab Sonic, if Sonic voids it, he gets a 2 second interval to hit the boxing glove and it will hit Eggman)

3. Big Noise (Giant Green Bird Badnik, attacks from shooting energy attacks from it's bottom, giant lasers as well.)

4. Egg Train (Eggman controls a giant train and uses boxes and explosive barrels that fly out of one of the carts, you use the boxes with springs to get on the top of the train and hit the giant button to cause damage to Robotnik/Eggman)

5. Spiker (Giant Spikey ball Badnik, has a small hit window, requiring Sonic to hit the top of it's head to avoid the spikes)

6. Egg Police Car (Robotnik drives a police car and tries to run Sonic over.)

7. Water Tank (Water tank Badnik that uses water to attack like a fountain, and uses it's twister to attack but also recieves damage when stabile)

8. EggWhale (Eggman controls a robot whale and uses it to bounce around on the stage and shifts between the stable land area and water area. Later takes Sonic underwater and swims around quickly to hurt Sonic and/or keeping him away from the air bubbles to drown him)

9. Ice Saw (uses a buzzsaw to attack and uses side ice cannons to freeze Sonic, the boss' weak point is under it's body)

10. Egg Rotator (Eggman controls a giant carousel similar to that of the final boss of Sonic 4 Episode 2, the Egg Heart, or the Catch Eggman/Egg Claw Boss from Sonic 2, use the sides and archs or the carousel platforms to bounce into Eggman)

11. Giant Mosquito Badnik (uses giant ball energy shots to attack and moves quickly with it's wings side to side)

12. Metal Sonic (now comes with a Red metallic skin, might be a reference of Metal Sonic Kai, uses chest energy shots to attack and uses side dashes and high speed movements)

13. Hat-Man Magician (Weird Badnik that has arms... and uses energy crescent moons to attack... it's very weird and doesn't fit)

14. Egg Big Hands (Sort of an evolution of Egg Boxer with 2 hands and except you damage each hands and destroy them individudally, you then fall down and having to use the direct of gravity downward to attack the body of the Big Hands)

15. Giant Butterfly Badnik (uses the wrecking ball at the end of it's body from the Egg Wrecker of Sonic 1, this is a moving boss meaning you run the entire time while the screen scrolls. )

16. EggTree (Egg Tree has a leaf protection that later exposes the true body after being hit and finally allowing you to get a hit in, so essentially you have to use platforms to attack Eggman at high altitude, and later hit him again, so 10 hits)

17. Egg Electicity (Ball of Metal that attacks by electric balls that move quickly to power these side generators that will expose the bosses weakspot and allow you to get a hit in)

18. Super Eggmech (Eggman uses a giant mech body that jumps around, and punches, and jumps at high altitudes to attack to the bottom, this is technically the final boss if you never collect the Chaos Emeralds)

19. Egg Star [True Final Boss] (You fight him as Super Star Sonic and he has a health bar indicated by the big star on it's chest and you have limited number of rings to damage it 25 times. It has 2 health bars, a blue and a red that requires 25 hits in total to defeat the Egg Star. You rings will deplete throughout the fight while idling or avoiding attacks that will cause you to lose rings faster by 5 if you get hit. Attacks like energy balls, aura blasts, missles etc.)

Pros of the Game:

- Level Esthetics are beautiful in artstyle
- Music is really godly for certain tracks:
• Sapphire Sights Act 1- Over the Horizon
• Sapphire Sights Act 2 - Free in the Marina
• Discount Districts Act 1- Synesthesia
• Bubble Blossoms Act 1 - Bridge Over Bubbling Water
• Frozen Fountain Act 1 - Amy it's Cold Outside
• Frozen Fountain Act 2 - Continental Lifts
• Gusty Greenhouse Act 1- Green is the Color
• Vs Metal Sonic - Time Rift Shifts
• Raspberry Rivers Act 1- Rose-Colored Rhythm
• Thunder Turbine Act 1- Don't Look Down
• Thunder Turbine Act 2 - Music to Infiltrate
• Every Boss theme

- The sprite work and animation is top notch and the designs of Sonic and Tails are really beautiful and take inspiration more from the Japanese Sonic CD version of Sonic than the American Version.

- The combination of having the Spindash from Sonic 2/3 & Knuckles/Mania with the HighSpeed Dash from CD is amazing and flows well when switching between the 2. The inclusion of the bounce dash was a nice addition as it gives a quick boost when you're about to land from a jump.
- The designs of the bosses are really unique in terms of the Eggman bosses and have unique ways of defeating them in terms of their gymics.

Cons:

-Tails shoes are blue for an odd and no good reason, I get wanting to make your designs original in terms of sprite work but don't really understand why the shoe colors are different.

- While the esthetics and art design of the Acts are nice, the designs of the levels themselves can really halt the progress of speed, making it feel more so like Sonic CD and less Sonic 2, the developer seemed to have wanted to do a perfect blend of 2 and CD but ended up mostly doing what CD did where it halted speed and focused more on exploration.

- Some Music Tracks don't fit a Sonic game acts and feel more like they would work in a Persona game, a Pokemon game, or Metroid game:
• Tropical Tracks Act 1- One Way Lane [Boss theme for a Persona 1,2 Innocent Sin, or 2 Eternal Punishment Boss]
• Tropical Tracks Act 2- Sundown Fever [City theme for a Pokemon city]
• Bubble Blossom Act 2 - Confetti Canon to Paradise [Beach theme/Overworld for a Pokemon or Persona Game]
• Discount Districts Act 2- Sonic's Last Night in Town [Bar theme for a Persona game or JRPG Game]
• Gusty Greenhouse Act 2- Life in a Greenhouse [Vendor theme for Persona or a Theme that plays before a boss fight, or a Palace theme for Persona 5]
• Carnival Crater Act 1- This Keg is a Circus [Sounds like a theme that would play in Metroid during a fight against Kraid or when in the magma areas.]
• Carnival Crater Act 2- Forged in the Fire [Sounds like a Boss theme for Persona 2 Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment]
• Raspberry River Act 2 - Shatter Mural [Persona 1 or Persona 2 Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment]

I had a great time overall playing this game on my Steam Deck and it ran perfectly and was a treat to playthrough. While it has some issues with what I listed above, I think for the most part it's a great fangame that I highly recommend to any Sonic fan looking for something in a similar inspired way to Mania.

The amount of strategy within this game was absolutely amazing with the different units you can make like farmers/gathers. swordmen, archers, giants, etc.
The game is all about getting and producing the right amount of units to be able to destroy enemy monuments.

The final boss is against a boss that starts off as a monument and reveals itself to be the monument itself, and it's a Ginormous Giant/King Giant.

The game was an absolute joy to play as a kid and as a flash game it was very well made. While the original is now retired/gone because of the shutting down of adobe flash, a legacy version was made for mobile.

Long live STICK WAR!

Aperture Desk Job is a funny Tech Demo that doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of a game, but it's a great addition to the world of Portal/Half Life.

The game can take at max about 30-40 minutes, but it's meant to be a fun introduction to your steam deck and the different options of gameplay the system has.

The "gameplay" is essentially to press buttons to make sure Aperture Toilets are regulated correctly, at least you think so, in reality you only make 3 toilets and then the game jumps to you 6 months later in terms of the story.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From this point I have to sort of blend the gameplay with the story so to essentially start:

You're a brand new worker in Aperture Science and your job is to be a new revolutionary scientist/engineer for the company! Your ideas will be so helpful for both people and societ- wait sorry, that's meant for the innovators of Aperture... in reality you're hired as another blue collar worker who's job is to regulate/test Aperture toilets. You meet your supervisor personality core Grady who has a southern accent.

When you get to your 4th Aperture toilet, Grady notices that the toilet is smoking and accidently falls into the toilet and you help him out while he accidently breaks an ammo pipe turning the toilet into a toirret (get it Toilet + Turret).

Anyway 6 months pass and Grady shows you the Mark 1 Toilet Turrent and has you test it out, only for it to break, and later shows you the Mark 2 which has a bunch of random useless attachments that the game makes you use EVERY SINGLE CONTROL that's one the system to destroy boxes.

...You accidently destroy the entire storage facility and are sent to Aperture Jail, only for Grady to come and rescue you as your parole officer. Here in the jail part the game wants you to speak into the systems microphone, input your name via typing, later signing with your ACTUAL SIGNATURE (though you can just scribble everywhere if you want).
A bit of gameplay for you.

Grady later shows you the Mark 3 Turret Toilet which specially only has Gatling guns on it's side, and tells you he got an interview appointment with Cave Johnson to show off both of yalls invention.

On the way you fight against turret washing machines and while your turrets get destroyed, Grady made sure to make a spare.

You head to the top of Aperture Science and Grady mentions no one has seen Cave Johnson for a while... when enter his office we see that he's now a giant head.
Cave Johnson is once again played by the legend him, J.K. Simmons.
Cave explains that he was dying from an illness which was terminal and asked for the best scientist and engineers to save his life any way possible, so the scientist made him a robot body and insert his conscious into it only problem is the amount of memory needed to remember everything didn't fit the human sized robot... so they made a GIANT ROBOT HEAD of Cave Johnson and were able to fully upload his entire conscious and personality into it.

Cave asks to see your invention and you shoot him with it. Cave wants to die and asks Grady and you to kill him to end his misery, after you destroy the stone cover on Cave it reveals his full metal head with glowing eyes, and later Grady see's his power supply and tells you to shoot it to help Cave. You do so and Cave... slowly... and thankfully... starts to die and thanks you for the help... before entering peace.

... Only for the backup powersupply to turn on bringing him back to life causing Cave to fire you and Grady. However because of the damage from the turret Cave falls deep into the depths of Aperture where he remains eternally bounded to life because of greed and ego.

Grady tells you that because they technically were accomplices in murder he tells you that you'll both probably get life and prison and proceed to leave.
The game's epilogue is you and Grady are now still working in Aperture under witness protection with different names and you 2 continue to do so... in the delipidated, destroyed, and abandoned Aperture Science.

The game pans down to the depths where we see Cave Johnson's Giant Robot head where him and a couple of toilet and washing machine turret make an instrumental song as credits role.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While a developer confirmed that this game is NON-CANON to Portal/Portal 2/Half Life, there's nothing really stopping it from being canon as you can half it take place after the Caroline Incident, after Portal 1, but before Portal 2, or during all events considering that a lot of time passes throughout the transition periods within the game, especially in the time you're in jail.

Overall there isn't much "gameplay" in the game but it's still a very fun experience to see the world of Portal once again, even if it's to a quick lesser capacity.

This game is a great introduction to your steam deck, and because it's free it's a great thing to own.

SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE is a Gundam game that goes through the different eras, generations, and alternate universes of the GUNDAM UNIVERSE.

The game has a cool CHIBI/REALISTIC art style with a very repetitive gameplay.
The gameplay is as follows:

Get from Point A to Point B while fighting normal MS and MG enemies, and then fight a strong iconic Gundam Heroes or Villains or Antagonists or Protagonists, most of the time it's antagonist/villains.

Your weapons are as follows, usually a sword of gun that allows you to attack with Standard SQUARE/X/Y as a Neutral attack, TRIANGLE/Y/X for a smash attack.
The game has a chain ability that happens when you press
X and Square on Playstation/ A and X on Xbox/ B and Y on Switch at the same time. This combo of buttons also can be used to activate a reversal incase you're being attacked. However your ability to use chains/reversals takes up half of this meter next to your life bar that refills when you are attacking enemies.
You also have these 2-3 different fireable weapons each with their own refilling ammo with maximum 3-5 shots depending on the weapon and gundam you chose.

The game has a lot of Iconic Gundams to collect and play as by having you complete missions of different varieties in terms of locations and characters that appear.
In SD GUNDAM you fight in somewhat iconic locations like Berlin, or in space. With the terrain having this red barrier surrounding locations you're not allowed to explore, making it feel very linear.

The game requires you to beat levels multiple times for RANDOM RNG drops of Gundam peaces.
The story itself is kind of forgettable as the story can be jotted down to:

Your character, along with Juno, are transported to a microverse/ ai generated world that is in havoc due to this rampant AI attempting to change history for the worse. However to be honest we barely see that happen or take any effect within the story. In the game we don't see anything that implies that history changed for the worse, unlike in for example XENOVERSE 1 and 2 where the timelines changed and we see problems happen in the world of Dragon Ball Z/SUPER/GT, not here in Gundam.

Here there's a lot of missed opportunity and the game itself is very repetitive that while at the beginning it was cool playing and having fun with the different Gundams to unlock and play as, as well as the great music and combat. After a while it got repetitive and very annoying. The game starts fun but then get's tediously repetitive and becomes an annoyance.

It's a fine enough Gundam game, but they needed a lot more variety than just " Go here and fight this iconic hero/villian, go there, fight this, blow this up"
Doesn't help that the Giant GUNDAMS are unplayable like DESTROYER GUNDAM or BIG ZAM.

It's an overall lovely looking game, with repetitive gameplay.

Family Guy Back to the Multiverse is...
a Family Guy game, and is the second console Family Guy game.

The story can be considered a sequel to that of the first game, however in terms of variety, it's reduced in terms of what the gameplay is.

The story itself is very simple, Bertram is back attempting to destroy Stewie and Brian once again, and take over the MULTIVERSE. Brian and Stewie have to stop him by traveling to different universes in order to set things right in other universes and stop Bertram.

In the game you to 4 different universes, which is a bit lame because the show revealed there are more multiverses and sadly the utopian universe with Hot Meg and futuristic trains and super pigs isn't in this game.

The universe you travel to are:

- Frat Universe (universe were everything is run and treated by Frat Boy Culture. Stewie's teleporter isn't working because it sends to a universe where everywhere is treated like a sorority frat boy house. And both need to help an alternate Mort get lucky and he'll fix their device. )

- Amish Universe (Universe where technology failed and Amish values continued, main enemy here appeared in the show and is Ezekiel, who has been ordered by Bertram to kill Brian and Stewie)

- Handicap Universe- (Universe where everyone is Handicapped and Joe is essentially the leader of the Handicappable, again order by Bertram to kill Stewie and Brian. The best thing here is that they brought back Crippletron as the boss for this world).

- Evil Universe - (Universe where everyone is evil and we see the return of Evil Stewie, however sadly we do not get to see Evil Peter [Retep], Lois, Chris, or Meg, we do however get an Evil Adam West who wears a red suit and a blue tie. Brian and Stewie have to stop Evil Adam West and after being spared, asks them to kill Evil Mayor McCheese in order to take office once again in Evil Quahog).

- Pirate Universe - (Universe where everything, everyone, and everywhere are in the theme of Pirates, and you're enemy hear is Long John Peter. This is more so just a level as you don't really see anything worth while, as you're stuck on the boat and you only fight other boats, and later have a last stand with Long John Peter)

- Industrial Christmas - (Universe where people bought all their Christmas presents online and Santa had to abandoned making toys for kids and instead manufactures weapons for sell and for Bertrams Multiverse Army.)

- Chicken Aliens - (This Universe is where Chickens, like the one Peter Fights, took over the world and Brian and Stewie are transported to the Mothership. You never directly interact on planet Earth seeing the chickens and what they've done to Quahog, instead you just fight the Giant Chicken's wife who acts similar to that of the Xenomorph Queen. They kill the Queen and save Peter, only for the Giant Chicken to appear and as Brian and Stewie are returning to their universes enter the teleporter as well.)

- Original Universe - (Original Family Guy Universe is broken down into 2 different final fights.

1. First you play as Peter for the one and only time and have a fight against the chicken in the Quahog airport, and Peter here defeats the Chicken by punching him into a plane engine, but as always the Chicken is SOMEHOW still alive.

[Also one inconsistent thing is that I'm not sure if the Chicken and Peter who fight are from the Chickens in Space Universe, or the Original Universe, because if it's the former, then there are 2 Peters in the official universe, if it's the latter then Bertram stole the Original Peter and Giant Chicken]

For Brian and Stewie they have a last stand against Bertram who has taken over Quahog with his giant, weapon strapped T-Rex and army of alternate multiverse versions of himself. Stewie and Brian defeat all the multiverse variations of Bertram and defeat Bertram and his T-rex. Brian destroys Bertram's teleported and his later fed to hid T-rex killing him once and for all. The Family meet together at the end and crack a meta joke about game sales as the game ends.)

The gameplay is just running and gunning in 3rd person with Stewie and Brian having an arsenal of weapons pretraining to what they would reasonably use as weapons in the show. Stewie gets an arsenal of hightech laser weapons and explosives with his main being his standard iconic laser pistol, while Brian has an armory of regular military weapons with his main being a desert eagle.
The game's story mode allows you to play in co-op with Player 1 controlling Stewie and Player 2 controlling Brian, however if you play in single player you're allowed to switch alternatively between them, and they share separate health. So if you're in a pinch with Stewie, you can quickly switch to Brian in order to save yourself.
The game essentially has you progress forward in each level, having you solve puzzles, eliminate enemy spawns and turrets, fighting standard repetitive enemies of different varieties in terms of attacking you in hand to hand combat or using weapons. Throughout the world you're able to collect collectibles pertaining to each world, as sort of a side mission if you want to go for the full completion.
This leads to unlockables such as more characters for team death match offline multiplayer co-op and alternate costumes for Brian and Stewie for the main game.

The standard run and gun gameplay is sort of the central focus of the game and I think based upon the previous game, the developers saw it as the only fun part of the original. However the only time the gameplay changes is when you play as Peter for the only time where the combat is essentially a more open, 3d version of the combat from the previous game.

The game has a legit boring and unfun multiplayer mode you'll get bored playing as while it does feature different locations to "revisit" levels from the game but set as a team death match and other modes where you and a friend fight each other. Here there are more characters to play as, each with their own special weapons and arsenal, making me think the entire family was suppose to be involved in the game's story, but they changed the story to be just Brian and Stewie.

Multiplayer features the following characters (6 base roster, 4 unlockables):

[Base Roster]
- Stewie
- Brian
- Peter
- Meg
- Chris
- Lois

[Unlockable]
- Cleveland
- Quagmire
- Mayor Adam West
- Death

Each having their own 4 unique costumes to be able to unlocked via the shop as throughout the main story you're able to collect money that can later be used to unlock said items.

The only thing is while the alternate costumes are cool and you're able to play as the Griffin Family and 4 others, the multiplayer is just genuinely not fun and boring.

The game has a fine enough story with a lot of missed potential with the universes they feature and missed opportunities in the universes that they don't have in the game.

A big con is the amount of stupid reused catchphrases they use whenever the characters do ANYTHING in the game. You pick up an item: catchphrase, you get hurt: catchphrase, you literally are walking and enemies appear: ANOTHER DAMN CATCHPHRASE. And it's not "dialogue from how the characters are reacting" it's literally reused voice lines and reactions from the show.
I'm surprised that there wasn't a single cut away gag in this game, and if there was I forgot. The cutaway gags in the previous entry led to upgrades and items that helped you on your journey, it was a good aspect from the previous games. Kind of weird they didn't take that aspect of the previous entry and do that here, however I can infer that perhaps they didn't do that since most of the cutaway minigames were tedious and sometimes unfair.

I think for the most part it's average, it's fine. I think the story is a fine enough Family Guy Stewie and Brian episode game.
The story is simple, and the gameplay is repetitive. The levels themselves all look unique in terms of the universes that are within the game, the only one really looking bland and boring being the Pirate Universe. The game has a lot of missed potential in terms of more universes they could've explored that would've been more interesting, but all in all... it's fine enough, average shooter platformer.

I'm giving it 3 stars in terms of nostalgic value for me, but I could drop it down to 2 or 2.5 due to the AWFUL multiplayer vs mode, but really 3 stars just means it's something that I'll probably forget considering how forgettable it can be. Only reason I ended up doing this long review is because someone brought it up in a convo and it unlocked this memory of this game.
Still though I think for what it brings to the table in terms as a game, it's just average.

Very fun and simple endless puzzle games that features a timer, and the object is to match 3 or more shapes of the same variety in order to collect points and increase your score and level progression. Having a great soundtrack and being very effective with the special effects.

I have a very soft spot and nostalgic factor with this game as I myself am not really good at this game, I can get a high score certainly, but my mom was a pro at this.

(I say was as she hasn't played it since we had it, she's alive and well don't worry)

Seeing my mom, who's not particularly gamer, excel and get a high HIGH score in this game was always a treat. So honestly, this game holds a special place in my heart

Family Guy the Video Game is a repetitive mess that plays like an episode of family guy.

The game is riddled with a bunch of references from the early seasons, and overall has a dumb story within it's gameplay.
While it is cool seeing iconic locations from family guy within this game, you basically go along with 3 different gameplay styles:

Stewie: Platforming Shooter Section

Peter: Side Scrolling Beat em Up

Brian: Stealth Sections

The game has you progressing from point A to B, while occasionally progressing throughout the levels, with different references and straight up jokes from Family Guy, repeated here instead of new jokes. And while it does have a bit of new jokes, they're not funny.

The Stewie sections are usually running and gunning while fighting enemies, along with occasionally platforming they're fine for what they are. Peter sections can get repetitive at times but they're beat em up sections and it's fine enough to where you can tolerate the repetitiveness since it's just copying general beat em ups.
The Brian sections... these sections are legit so boring to get through, there's never a worry that you're going to be caught by a guard or anything and the placement of the items you need to get context wise to the locations don't make sense at all.

The story is: Bertram returns to screw with Stewie and attempt to kill Stewie and take over the world. Brian gets accused by Carter Pewterschmidt (Lois' Dad) over Seabreeze
getting pregnant (assuming that this takes place after the Seabreeze episodes, but who cares there's no cohesive timeline for Family Guy) and he gets beaten up and arrested.
Brian then has to escape the Quahog and go to different areas to find evidence to prove his innocence and who the real culprit is. Peter's story is literally just he follows a light signal of Mr Belvedere... for some reason.

The game occasionally throws in cut away gags as minigame to break up gameplay, they're fine for what they do, and they give you bonuses for the character you're playing as.

The background jokes can give a nice member-berries for those who remember the early seasons.
Peter is only character who has costume changes because throughout each area of this game, for story reasons, Peter gets hurt and becomes a previous persona from an early episode:

- Regular Peter
- Rufus Griffin (Black Peter who's based on Disco and Black Dynamite)
- Prostitute Peter
- A.N.N.A. Peter (Robot Peter from the episode of: THE KING IS DEAD)

You go to different areas of Quahog like the Griffin Household, Spooner Street, Downtown, Cheesie Charlies, Quahog Police Station, Quahog Hospital, Quahog Dog Racing Track, inside Peter's Brain, and the park.

The game has 3 conclusions for the 3 characters:

-Brian proves his innocence and proves that Quagmire is the father of Seabreeze's puppies (Gross)
- Stewie Defeats Bertram and Bertram escapes by calling his mom
- Peter learns that Mr Belvedere is actually dead and has a fight with the Chicken as the final boss, only for the game to end with same Mr. Belvedere Signal to appear again, causing Peter to get angry as to what or who is making the signal.

We learn at the end it's Mayor Adam West making Shadow Puppets.

The game has a nostalgic factor for me obviously, but looking at it critically it's just below average at best, and really boring at worse, with a typical Family Guy story.

I will say though, I don't like the false advertising of the cover in terms of who it shows. I don't get why the cover shows Chris and Lois as if they're playable when they're just used for background gags, having no story of their own. The cover should have just been Peter, Brian, and Stewie, with Lois and Chris in the background like Meg.

Can't really recommend unless you love Family Guy, or love to be bored.

SIX GUNS is cowboy IOS Game that attempts to catch people and kids off guard with it's greedy microtransactions and overall lack of meaning full gameplay.

The game is essentially what happens when you want to play Red Dead, but don't want to pay the full price of $30 for a copy via Ebay (though at the time when this game was on IOS Red Dead 1 was still $60).

This game has the most bare bones and boring world in terms of attempting to copy Red Dead, with the most repetitive levels in terms of ending up in shoot out missions, and going down mines to kill more random cowboys.

The game has bare bone missions and overall game, and while I will say the controls are fine, nothing to complain in terms of that, this seriously is a game that you're going to get bored with QUICKLY.

The game also had very greedy and malicious microtransactions with most of them being cosmetics and weapons that were locked behind $0.99 and beyond.

I remember because I fell for these microtransactions at the age of 9/10, because I bought a very expensive cosmetic pyromaniac skin where it comes with a flame thrower. IT COSTED 99.99. You can see how malicious and awful it is.

This game is a poor mans red dead and a malicious microtransaction ridden mess, with repetitive levels and just a singular boss.

I get a lot people have a nostalgic outlook cause it was one of the first app games that had more to it. But man, just looking back, it's a bad experience all around.

Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a love letter to classic sonic games with a new 3D spin.
This game is a fan game that is so fun to play through and experience a new twist on classic sonic in a 3D style.

The game features 6 roster characters to play as in terms of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Fang the Sniper, and Metal Sonic.

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles all appear in the base roster with Amy, Fang, and Metal being unlockable.

The game features a bunch of levels that each have 3 individual acts within them, with Acts 1 and 2 serving as your standard Sonic Act but in 3D in a HUGE area to explore and traverse, with collectibles to be found. Act 3 serves as the boss of each stage, with Eggman/Robotnik using different iconic and new machines to try and defeat you.

The game has issues in terms of sometimes not being clear as to where you have to go, and the camera tends to fight you sometimes, but not to the point to where the game becomes unplayable or anything.

The game also features an amazing community that is constantly updating the game, adding new levels and characters to play as.

Personal favorites include:

- Surge the Tenrec
- Mecha Sonic (Sonic 3 & Knuckles)
- Kiryu Kazuma (Yakuza/Like a Dragon/Ryu Ga Gotoku)
- Kirby
- Pacman
- STEVE (MINECRAFT)

Any many more from Sonic characters, to other video game characters! There is even a mod that allows you to play with 3D models.

This is such a love letter to fans, and to Sonic, and while it might have issues, I think you'll all enjoy it.

Dead Space Extraction is a fun on-rails prequel DEADSPACE game that takes place before the very first DEADSPACE and connects directly with DEADSPACE 2.

The starts with the outbreak of the MARKER infecting the scientist and unitologists in the area where the marker was found.

In the first level you play as Sam Caldwald who has a girlfriend named Lexine Murdoch. Sam Caldwald is one of the first to deal with the outbreak by being directly incontact with the MARKER on Aegis VII. He wears armor/mining suit similar to that of Isaac Clark however with open visor. Him and his friends go crazy and you see it from his perspective as he has to kill his friends before they go insane.
Sadly Caldwell succumbs to the voices and is promptly shot by the protagonist Nathan Mcneill who's a detective.

Mcniell meets with his soldier/police friend Gabrielle Weller and they go through the outbreak attempting to get off AEGIS VII with Lexine. Gabrielle and Lexine are both characters that appear in DEAD SPACE 2 as they have married eachother after the events of DEADSPACE 1 and during 2.

They meet with the Executive Director of Colonial Mining Affairs Warren Eckhart during the outbreak when saving him.
The crew goes through the game attempting to get off AEGIS VII, and once they do, they end up on the original ship from DEADSPACE, the ISHIMURA. There they meet Nicole (Isaac Clark's wife) who helps McNiell, Murdock, Eckhart, and Weller to find a life boat to get off the USG ISHIMURA however stays behind to try and help survivors.
In Chapter 6 Lexine gets seperated from the group and ends up meeting Karen Howell who is a bontanist of Hydrophonics who meets with McNiell, Weller, and Eckhart before they're attack by a giant tenticle necromorph called The Urchin.
Karen Howell saves Lexine from a giant armored necromorph called the Brute, before they meet with McNiell, Weller, and Eckhart. Howell activates the tram (train) so they can escape to the nearest life boat, and McNiel asks Eckhart to protect Howell while they clear the way ahead.
Eckhart and Howell have a conversation where Eckhart ordered for Unitologist to established in all parts of the ISHIMURA and AEGIS VII, and he's the reason for why the outbreak happens as those who become Necromorphs are believers of what the MARKER is saying.
Eckhart is revealed to be the cause of all of this, and allows for Howell to be killed by the Giant Tenticle from DEADSPACE. Eckhart returns to Nathan, Lexine, and Gabrielle lying to them saying "Howell sacrificed herself to save me, she locked the door."

Weller decides it's best to split up to find a life boat and decides that Lexine and McNeill need to go to another area and check if theres a life boat there.
Weller and Eckhart find a lifeboat, and clear out the Necromorphs in the area. Weller later destroys 4 braces that are holding the lifeboat and door in place to escape, and he destroys them while leaving Eckhart in the office space alone. When Weller returns he sees Eckhart relaying a message to other scientist/unitologist of the USG organization on how Lexine is immune to the effect of the MARKER and that she needs to be tested on for further research.

Weller confronts Eckhart and Eckhart shoots him, however Eckhart is later attacked and killed by a Leaper Necromorph.
Lexine and McNeill meet up with Weller and McNeill has to go and shut down the final canon, in order to allow themselves to escape the ISHIMURA. After deactivating the cannon in zero gravity, McNeill encounters a giant space breathing necromorph called the Spider. After killing the Spider, it shoots one last attack at McNeill for permanent damage. This attack causes McNeill to have to cut off his arm... sadly he's already dead at this point.

Lexine and Weller have 1 final stand against hordes of Necromorphs of different varieties waiting for McNiell to arrive. They think hes officially dead before a 1 armed McNeill shows up and all 3 get off the ISHIMURA.

Weller asks what McNeill is going to do next, and he says "I'm officially retired."
(which is both funny and sad as to what McNeill's fate actually is).
Before that, a transmission comes in from the USG Kellion after finding the distress signal from Nicole and from the ISHIMURA.

Lexine attempts to get in contact with the Kellion but the transmission doesn't go through. The USG Kellion being the ship Isaac Clark is on, starting the events of DEAD SPACE.

As DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION ends... DEAD SPACE begins.

McNeill's fate is later revealed in DEAD SPACE 2 to have turned into a Necromorph after his injury from fighting the spider, confirming that he succumbed to the infection/injury, and final shot of Lexine shooting a Necromorph confirms Lexine killed Necromorph McNeill... he got his retirement.

The game is an on rail shooter with various different weapons to use from the iconic DEAD SPACE series:

- Plasma Cutter (Horizontal and Vertical switch)
- Line Gun
- Pulse Rifle
- Force Gun
- Flame Thrower
- Ripper
- Contact Beam

Also featuring 3 new weapons:
- Rivet Gun (Nail Gun)
- P-Sec Pistol (Futuristic Revolver)
- Arc Welder (Shoots Electricity)

The game features different variants of the Necromorphs, along with 2 New Version of Necromorph Bosses.
These variants being:

- Standard Necromorphs
- Leapers
- Ubermorphs
- Exploders
- Lukers
- Pregnants
- Swarmers
- Fliers
- Brutes (Only 1 is encountered in this game)

And 2 new Boss variants of Necromorphs:

- The Urchin
- The Spider

The game is very repetitive in terms of the on rails and tends to be a bit cheap in terms of when you get hit, but still can be very fun. The story is a great addition to DEAD SPACE as a whole as it clears up a lot of loose ends and ties DEAD SPACE and DEAD SPACE 2 together very well.

I highly recommend playing this game or watching a youtube video instead to experience the story. Had a great time with DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION, all before I play DEAD SPACE REMAKE.

If you want to play DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION purchase the DEAD SPACE 2: LIMITED EDITION as it comes with DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION on the disc. Copies on eBay go for about $15-$25, get it quick before the prices spike.

I really liked DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION.

Five Nights at Candy's 2 is a sequel... it certainly is a sequel.
FNAC2 is regarded as the worst entry it's overall story and gameplay doesn't really make any sense logically.

The game features both boring and repetitive tactics where you essentially have to focus on not getting attack by the animatronics in an abandoned... office or factory.

The characters feature a new withered look however a big criticism I have is that while some of the animatronics clearly look like they've been through hell:

Penguin, Chester, and Blank (to a lesser extent)

You then have Candy and Cindy which they look withered but they have the texture of which their plastic continue to look good and shiny which doesn't make sense and collides with the overall idea of a withered toy animatronic.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The game has pretty dumb story, where you character loses a bet and has to spend 5 nights at this abandoned animatronic warehouse however it's really unclear if it's a factory, a parking lot, a warehouse, or an office space. The overall design of the location collides making you think it could honestly be a office space with a parking lot in the middle and not even close to a warehouse.

The game looks bland as hell in terms of having nothing really connected with that of the CANDY BRAND in except for kid drawings that don't really fit, as they would fit more within the actual Candy's Burger and Fries Restaurant.

There are moments where the story shows us aspects of the past and it does get interesting literally at the bonus night 6, as the other nights the are most boring and repetitive nights with nothing interesting going on.

At the beginning of the game you get this friend that texts you and makes fun of you and you think:

"Oh they're my phone guy, they might give me hints and tell me some tips about how to deal with what animatronics... right?"

Nope literally every night starts off as bland and boring as possible where you sat on the office desk and you just look through the camera and try to avoid Candy, Cindy, and Blank.

Night 6 is when they reintroduce the RAT and they introduce a new companion, the CAT.

The story is crap as it's barely a story, and the gameplay isn't much better.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In this game you have to deal with 6 characters and 1 nuisance character who doesn't jump scare but instead hinders your ability to continue with the night.
These characters being:

1- Wither Candy - Broken version of Candy from FNAC 1 who starts off on one of the cameras, and you have to lure him away from the main office middle area by using the phones to lure him. Rinse and repeat throughout the entire night.

2- Wither Cindy - Broken version of Cindy from FNAC 1 who starts off on one of the cameras, and you have to lure her away from the main office middle area by using the phones to lure her. Rinse and repeat throughout the entire night.

3- Wither Chester - Chester from FNAC1 however he lost his eyes and has a couple of arm and leg plates missing. Through the nights he appears in, he'll bang on some vents attempting to get in... the way you get rid of is... USE THE PHONES AGAIN to lure him away. When I say it lures him away, it makes him run away to... somewhere and throughout the night he'll continue to do the same thing over and over again. Rinse and repeat, it's not that different from Candy and Cindy apart from the banging he makes.

4- Withered Blank - an even more withered version of Blank as he was pretty withered in FNAC1 but now he's worse looking. Same mechanics as Candy and Cindy where he gets lured away from a near by phone call. However the difference is that he disconnects a phone if he happens to be in a camera with a phone on it.
So say he appears in a room where you rang it to get rid of Candy or Cindy or Chester, if Blank enters that room he disconnects the phone leaving it unusable for a short period of time. It's really not that different from Candy or Cindy though, again another case of rinse and repeat with no real variety other than he can occasionally disconnect the phones.

5- The Penguin - Withered version of the cutesy penguin from FNAC1 except he is missing his eyes and mouth, and has dust and scratches on him. He never appears physically in the game... he appears on the camera.
... this guy legitimately makes the game not scary... but a rage fest. This character makes the game hard as if you accidently find him on the camera which will show a black screen with his face on it. HE WILL CRASH THE CAMERA forcing you to reboot it, which allows for one of the animatronics to get up close and personal and sometimes even kill you.
You could say, "but the mechanic is suppose to make is so that the game is longer and more difficult so you have more obstacles to overcomes"
That's fine except if you play on 7/20 mode you're forced to have constantly pray that the stupid penguin doesn't wreck your night since he will ALWAYS crash the screen and not only that but the rebooting time takes forever ruining your night.
It almost feels like a last minute obstacle with sharp difficulty spike because most likely Emil knew the game was a bit too easy.

Keep in mind Penguin is my favorite character because of how cute he is, but jesus is he unbearable and annoying in FNAC2

6 - The RAT - The RAT reappears from FNAC1 with a bit more withering in terms of missing arm fur and leg fur, but for the most part looks the same as in the first game.
He plays exactly the same as Candy and Cindy however appears more often in the central hallway meaning you have to lure him to random rooms. You then have to also deal with the same mechanic as Withered Penguin, where RAT will appear on the screen with a black background and crash the screen. The mechanic is the same as penguin and equally as annoying.

7- The CAT - this is a newcomer animatronic and the companion of RAT, in the sense they both physically appear like they're from the same era. CAT is actually the very first incarnation of CANDY, from a time long ago. CAT along with RAT only appear on NIGHT 6 and 7. His gameplay is essentially like the RAT, Candy, Cindy, and Blank, however he also has urge to enter vents like Chester. If he successfully enters the vent he will kill you... but again just lure him away from the the vents with the phones and you'll be fine. But again he uses the same mechanic as RAT, Candy, Cindy, Blank, and Chester, RING THE PHONE IN ANOTHER ROOM AND THEY'LL GO TO IT.

The only interesting aspect of the entire game are the designs of RAT AND CAT as the withers of the regular animatronics look a bit bland.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The final task of the game is to get beat 7/20 mode which has the first 3 hours making you deal with CANDY, CINDY, CHESTER, BLANK, and PENGUIN. The last 3 Hours, has you deal with RAT and CAT which is a major spike in difficulty when they appear. If you get through 7/20 you unlock a bonus minigame/postgame where you get a 16 bit minigame.

Here in the minigame you get to see a old location called "RAT AND CAT THEATER" where an incident occurs. This is expanded on in FNAC3 but here it's just as a teaser. This also confirms that RAT and CAT play a similar role to that of Fredbear and Springbonnie however the difference isn't that RAT AND CAT are both victims as oppose to how Fredbear and Springbonnie are opposing forces in a battle of a victim and a killer.

It also confirms that essentially CAT essentially is the first variation of CANDY, and RAT became a obsolete creepy character. Since the incident that occurs there leaves a bad name for the brand, the company sell off the brand to ROWBOATICS and they rebrand to CANDY's BURGER and FRIES, leaving RAT and CAT to rot.

Only discrepancy is that RAT appears in FNAC1, and CAT doesn't which obviously could imply that CAT was at the warehouse way before RAT, but even then it's just strange why RAT would be in FNAC1 if that was the case.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Still the story is basically nonexistent except for the post minigame. The gameplay is just not fun, and the overall feel in terms of esthetic is a bit bland. The character withers are not that good as they feel like those photoshop pictures of the FNAF2 Toys, the only characters who are legitimately scary are RAT AND CAT as their eyes are hollow and pitch black and they have this terrifying expression on their faces.

Honestly I would just watch the Markiplier let's play of this rather than having yall play it yourself.

Endless Iconic 2D runner where you play as a dude with a Gatling gun jetpack, you collect coins and avoid obstacles and see how far you get. This game is endless and never ends. You're playing for coins and for record length which fun. There are a lot of different customization options however for the most part the game is full of microtransactions. The game still is fun and an iconic 2D app store game, that I have a lot of memories with.
