Things I hate about games I love

The opposite of this list but the idea of doing this one was brought up by hotpoppah

Two things:
- Unlocking ACT 3's Ending: While I like the idea of doing extra runs to obtain a particular key item to see the finale of the game, the spawn rate for the last fragment in the last biome is so fucked up, there will be times where it won't even spawn

- Co-op is buggy as fuck: My brother and I had to do so many workarounds to have him play with me without the game or our session crashing, there is one particular boss that can even end your run with a game breaking bug
Run energy, thank god it's getting reworked soon, not even the most die hard fans of the old gimmicks of Runescape like this, and they like Agility even less
Act 3 is painfully boring and all aside from the story and boss fights, has no stakes whatsoever or interesting ways to build a deck, but maybe that's the point, to prove that P03 can't make a card game for shit
Pacing after Titan's arc
I know game development is hard and they probably had their reasons, but I just don't like how abruptly the game ends and how they have been sequel baiting for all those years at this point
"Wow, that enemy attack almost killed me, whenever its my turn I'm gonna spam as many Stimpacks as I can"

Marcus, a couple of steps behind me, wielding a Gatling Gun:
After Leyndell, enemies are too tanky and do too much damage, I don't think you can really have both for all of them
That section after the twist where you periodically lose max HP, in fairness, I haven't played Bioshock in almost a decade now so it's maybe because I was younger and worse at playing it
Both Prime and Prime 2 suffer from the same issue of having to take a nice stroll on the whole world to find some fuckass keys to access the Final Boss
Academy Activities get old really quick
My hands get cramped trying to play it :(
The Crucible, while extremely cool, gets introduced so late into the game, and so little is balanced around it (except for Final Sin), that you barely get to use it because of how far and few between the ammo pickups for it are spread, you find yourself using the BFG more often
Most of the minigames play like ass, but the worst offender is the snowboarding one, specially because of when it happens in the story.

Who would have thought, Rebirth even captured the tone shifts of the original quite well

Oh and another thing, you can cut the arc of the Huge Materia out of the game and nothing of value would be really lost, specially the underwater sections
Recommending this game.
Most of the criticisms I can give to XIV only make sense if you have played it, but recommending a story heavy MMO is extremely fucking difficult
That stupid section beneath Shinra Manor where you have to play as Cait Sith and throw boxes around and sometimes fight with only him in the party. I don't like throwing the term "padding" around, but this section literally serves no actual purpose to the game

FF14 is such a mixed bag. Cause as a FF game its pretty solid, but as an MMO....ehhhhh
