Barely played more than 2 hours and I say this as someone who has never played a legit RPG before... This is one of the best games I've ever played. Blessing and a curse really to have this as my first RPG I've played because on one hand, what a way to start, but on the other hand, there's no chance any RPG comes anywhere near this
I've gotta say... I really enjoy this wayyyy more than I expected. I think it's miles ahead of MW2 and while in no way should this game be $70 as it is literally a DLC, I still think it's a step in the right direction. MP is fun, camo grind is reasonable and for what zombies is, I really enjoy it
While my initial review of "give Insomniac whatever the fuck they want" still stands, after getting platinum for this and finishing the story, I think the game faulters quite a bit compared to Spider-Man 2018. The story isn't nearly as compelling or fleshed out, Kraven feels half assed here with unmemorable fight scenes and while the Venom stuff is a lot of fun, the way Insomniac marketed this has me clammoring for more than what we got. The story isn't anywhere close to 2018 imo as everything in this is extremely predictable and the ending scene tries to evoke that same tear jerk reaction that 2018 goes for with Aunt May, but completely misses the mark for me. So yeah that sounds negative but I still really enjoyed this, gameplay is amazing and web swinging is perfected here and I can't wait for Wolverine and Spider-Man 3, but I hope those stories are more fleshed out and similar to 2018

I'm around 8 hours in and I freaking love this game. I have never been a massive fan of Fallout and I haven't really played many Bethesda games in general, but this had me hook, line and sinker since it was fully revealed. A space RPG with hundreds of planets, an interesting storyline and a million different ways you can play that also is incredibly expansive and will take a long long time for me to finish? Yeah sign me up. I'm obsessed with this and the only reason it's not 5 stars is because I haven't finished it, but there's a good chance it gets bumped up to a 5
Surprised by the low reviews on this, started playing on the Series X with friends and I'm having a lot of fun

When my girlfriend got this, I thought it looked fun but probably something that I could never really get into. But here we are like a week later and I'm absolutely fucking addicted

Some negatives: 1 being that J.K Rowling definitely got some royalties for this so that sucks, but also the game seems weirdly unoptimized at points. I'm playing this on the PS5 and some character models take forever to load, just expected more on the next gen consoles but besides that I'm having a lot of fun with this, as someone who really enjoys the HP books and movies it's really cool being able to walk through Hogwarts and be a part of that world. Also the map is wayyyy bigger than I would've anticipated which is a plus
