Went from grimdark, to psychedelic, and honestly I'm not mad at it. I do feel like the storytelling was a bit lost after a very satisfying finish to max payne 2. It didn't stick with me quite as much as the old ones, but it's still a great game in it's own right, and bullet time will never ever get old.

I'm not a huge platform player, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I got stuck for a bit on the final level before the final boss. I wasn't expecting to like daxter as much as I did though. What a hoot.

I like that the devs did something really out there for DLC. That being said, it gets really repetitive, really fast. The ending made me actually laugh out loud though, so there's that.

This game is heavy with nostalgia for me, but I can see it's flaws. The platforming is not well done, and the combat is pretty clunky compared to later installments. That being said, the story is so fun, the characters are lovable, and it was literally the multiverse before we even knew what that was.

A strong follow up to CE. Better gunplay, dual wielding whichever guns you want, better story, better layouts, it's all here. I didn't grow up with Halo, so reminder that I'll never have the nostalgia goggles for it that some do, but I even I can recognize that this is a great game, even if I have some gripes with certain missions and certain boss fights.
The anniversary edition especially looks amazing with incredible cutscenes and sound design, and remastered music that sounds amazing.

It was just a relaxing, chill time. A few areas that were a little frustrating, but it was still enjoyable, and the music was very well done.

The aesthetic is great, and I wanted to love it, but there were just some extremely frustrating sections due to I think hit box issues? Just times where I definitely should not have been seen or grabbed or hit by debris. Definitely a fun one to play around spooky szn though.

I wasn't expecting how fast it would hook me, but I was in from the jump (no pun). Obviously more simple than most of what we have these days in the genre, but the voice acting is still phenomenal, the feeling of power is still there, and I hated ares just as much as kratos did it felt like. So excited to keep going through the series.

Listen. It's brutal. And a SLOG due to them dragging out the levels way too much, especially the final world (iykyk). I had to try some of the bosses multiple times and I was only on normal. Maybe I just suck at card games, but it felt like some of the aspects of the game were not explained very well at all.
That being said, I'm glad I played it to know what happened between 1 & 2, but I wouldn't blame anyone for just watching the cutscenes. The whole game was worth it though simply for namine's theme. One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.

I remember going to buy this from best buy on black friday to give to my dad on Christmas. I must have played the campaign probably 20 times, and we had a blast playing the multiplayer as it was one of my first few multiplayer games.

Even though it's really only an expansion to the "second son" game, it is honestly more enjoyable than the base game. I feel like the story is more interesting, and neon was already the most fun power, so being able to sonic run through the city was great. Not enough to salvage the whimper the series went out on though, unfortunately.

It's one of those that's rough to go back to now, and I got lost on a couple levels, but the lightsaber fighting still feels pretty good. I just wish I cared about Kyle a little more...

The story was really nothing to write home about, but the online was quite fun. Even though it was a little too punishing for me to get into as a more casual player, the destructible environments combined with the insane things players were doing with vehicles really made it a fun time

One of my favorite gaming intros that I can think of. Just starts off with a bang and never lets up. I have some qualms with the story since they don't explain what happened to every character since the first one and expect you to read extracurricular media, but it's still such an enjoyable original superhero game.

Fair warning, the graphics are pretty atrocious. It's hard to see what's going on. But it's still an open world game for the GBA and that in itself is impressive. The game has some BRUTAL levels though, and it took me growing up and becoming better at video games before I could beat it. Surprisingly short, but man did this game make car rides as a kid fun.
