The rotting Necromorph flesh from the first game molds itself into a spectacular horror-action experience, that has you hooked from start to end in what can only be described as a 'Rollercoaster Gorefest Extravaganza'

A great game whose rotting flesh starts to feel a bit bloated by the Marker's influence after the half-middle part; but what it lacks in pacing it easily makes up for it in the atmosphere, world-building, and spooks. It also has one of the best immersive UIs known to man

As someone who grew up with Harvest Moon I'm just glad this genre wasn't lost to time, as many before it have

A horror masterpiece by its own merits. And as a remake, even better

'Suggested Horror' at its finest; a short treat for spooky night, best accompanied with a Cabernet Sauvignon and the reddest meat that suspicious, "croocked-eye" butcher down the street can provide

A truly great love letter to survival horror, with genuine heart and brimming with passion

2022

Have you ever wondered what it's like to star on a John Woo movie? It doesn't get closer than this, snappy gameplay, satisfying combos, and a high-skill ceiling make the combat infinitely enjoyable

A unique multiplayer experience, there's nothing else like it and that's hell of a good thing. This could easily be considered the first, well-implemented stealth multiplayer game; the sound and ambient systems are also one of the best in any game out there, you can hear a gunshot from anywhere in the map and have a rough guess at the type, where its coming from.
The gun-play is responsive, purposefully slow(because you're using Civil War-era weapons) and intuitive, don't expect to be able to wield any weapon on your first try. These are old weapons and they feel like it.
Every kill feels like an earned victory, every death feels like a deserved punishment. Hunt Showdown is for anyone out there ready to experience what it's like to be hunted or even better- be the hunter

It has one of the best intros in videogame history, I still cry every time I listen to Sanctuary

This game is what people mean when they say they're going to 'go out with a bang'

If you put someone, anyone, in front of me with M.O.O.N. - Hydrogen blasting in the club, I- I don't know what I'd do

Fear and Hunger 1 is a unique experience with grueling gameplay and spots of brilliance spread throught, but like a chick on its first flight, it systematically gets its limbs cut off on its way to the finish line. Fear and Hunger 2 has all the aspects that made the first game special, and so much more. It expands on every game mechanic introduced on the first one, without losing the edge that made them special while also adding a new set of interesting characters to get to know- or if you're unlucky, witness how uncaring this world can be to them. If you like survival horror, or just great stories, give this game a chance. You won't regret it

Fear and Hunger is an unapologetic reinvention of turn-based RPGs, a subvertion of almost every single element we've come to know and love about the genre, twisted and distorted, at the expense of the player but at the benefit of the experience overall. Important to point out a CONTENT WARNING for pretty much everything that can make a person uncomfortable. Some of these are used masterfully to unnerve the player, when everything is on the table, what new horrors await you behind every corner? But some come off as excessive and only for shock value. For its uniqueness I'd still recommend it to anyone that can stomach it

Pathologic's gameplay and story can only be described as a hypnotizing and enthralling trance that by the end will hit you with a painful realization- you'll never get to experience something quite like it ever again.

ULTRA HARDCOREEEEE TO THE MAX!
