A pretty good introduction to the franchise. It got pretty innovative with it's campaign/multiplayer hybrid, but It didn't land all too well. The core of this game is the movement and the titans, and boy does it do it well. No reason to get this today since pretty much the entire player base moved to Titanfall 2, and since this is a multiplayer only game, makes it a pointless buy. It was still a good time though, and certainly got me invested into the series.

Pretty much Galaxy 1 but more, which is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. The main differences involve removal of a story (a contentious topic, but one I disagree with) and the addition of Yoshi, which comes with it's own set of powerups. If you liked Galaxy 1, you'll like Galaxy 2 just as much.

This game has one of the strongest aesthetics I've ever seen in a game. It just grips this absolute overpowering mood, set by the gorgeous visuals, music (crafted by Disasterpiece), and lack of any words whatsoever. Almost everything you learn about the world is told through the environment and vague picture snippets from NPC's. It has a fascinating air of mystery that I have yet to be able to solve.
The gameplay is also fantastic. The way they implement the boost system, one of the game's main combat and traversal mechanics, is super satisfying to chain and master, and opens up a ton of mechanical depth into the game. If you like fast paced action combat with a strong atmosphere and world to melt yourself into, I can't recommend this game enough.
