Beautiful, but not perfect, mix of retro Shantae and modern, anime style. The gameplay is more fast-paced and snappy than before, the spin dash will truly test your ability to go fast if you can handle it.

I've played through this game every now and then since its release. I recently came back to beat the game as Vergil on DMD, Turbo and No Items. It was a huge challenge but I managed to pull through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_PL3T23fr4

The game hold up extremely well, especially with QoL mods such as higher resolution, frame rate (although it makes the enemies pop D.T. quicker), F.O.V. and more. It's an absolute masterpiece and I'll always come back to it.
