A real cinnamon roll of a video game. Tearaway: Unfolded welcomes you into their home and makes you a cup of tea. Great hospitality and pleasant experience.

Phenomenal game. Grand in its design and execution. All core aspects are masterfully done. On top of that, my girlfriend loves it AND achieved the platinum trophy + all DLC trophies. Frostpunk is a certified banger.

The Pedestrian is a short puzzle game with a great realised concept. The game leaves you far too soon.

An FPS for cool cats. Metro 2033 was on my backlog longer than I would like. Grimy, unsettling atmosphere where you are always on edge.

If you like Castlevania you will probably like this! Starts slow but gradually gets more exciting. Getting 100% was a bit tedious and the platinum trophy is a hard sell. When you lock into the game and you like the game's grind, fully completing it is pretty cool.

Action man recapturing little towns and military fortresses from baddies. Traversing the islands is the best part about this game. Excellent sense of freefalling and gliding. Story is a bit pish, but explosions, tether grapples and flying makes it worth it.

A classic video game. Without hyperbole, Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games ever made. If you want to play a video game, look no further.

MORE PERSONA 5!

Since I already played Persona 5, I decided to play on HARD which was a nice challenge. Even on HARD, it was still fairly manageable.

Fantastic game. Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal opened my eyes to a great series that I previously ignored. Must buy, must play!

Life is Strange completely relies on the quality of its narrative. To say anything more would be spoiler territory. Enjoyed the game for what it was. Short, film-like experience.

I have the platinum trophy for Mighty No. 9. Who hurt me to think this was a good idea to achieve? Well, the game was on my PSN profile for so many years with only ONE trophy achieved. Initially played it briefly, and hated it. That is the common consensus for most players. Since then, the game has been laughing at me, crying out LOSER every chance it got! I was tired of this treatment, so I geared up and tackled the game.

It is a hot mess. Even after mastering the game, I can't say I fully enjoyed myself. It did feel torturous, but there is a small part of me that saw past the glaring flaws and imagined the polished version of the game. When you get a hang of the game, there is something here but I can't precisely tell you what that is.

If the game took different directions then maybe this would be considered a half decent game. Honestly, playing games like this is part and parcel of being a video game enthusiast. To play all kinds of games develops a deeper appreciation for video games.

How stupid was I to think that Bloodborne was not a game for me. Past me was very silly. Coming from the perspective of a non-fan of the Souls games, Bloodborne had some initial growing pains. At first, I did not get it. The first couple of deaths were especially off putting. It was like catching a whiff of spoiled milk. However, as I inched closer to a new area around a different corner, not knowing what was ahead of me and getting excited for what challenges lurked beyond my reach, I finally got it.

The world of Bloodborne is truly wondrous. A feast in all senses. Bloodborne is a feeling you can't shake off. It is the linkage of video games, like a shadow for not yet realised imagined worlds.

My first playthrough was in 2020, and returning two years later on HARD difficulty was a huge confidence check. Nevertheless, I managed to platinum Final Fantasy VII Remake. Along with the HARD playthrough, I had to do some miscellaneous trophies like getting praised by Jessie, ranking first on the darts leaderboard, obtaining all weapons abilities and music discs, and completing all quests (you need a second set of quests for a specific chapter to do this, the PSNProfiles guide is really helpful)! Dressed to the Nines was a bit annoying, but it was easy when consulting the guide.

After completing two full playthroughs, cutscenes and all, I would highly recommend this game! As someone who isn't an avid fan of FF, Final Fantasy VII Remake tempts me to become one.

Here's a real high class bout! This game is worthy of the label 'phenomenal'! A clear labour of love for classic old-timey cartoons and the brutal difficultness from games of old. Cuphead epitomises the trial and error gameplay loop. Mugman is best mug! Now, brace yourself for the platinum. Expert mode is no walk in the park. The increased difficulty on some bosses will surprise you. Bosses that were once pushovers become terrifying. If you can stick it out and finally beat that pesky boss, you will genuinely feel proud that you overcame that tribulation.

Aesthetic, music, gameplay, across the board are amazing. A real treat to play. Highly recommend!

When I first played Cities: Skylines, I wasn't going for the platinum. It is an enjoyable city sim and the console version is surprisingly good to control. The platinum was a challenge just for the fact that it is a major time sink (estimate is 150 hours).

1001 Nights took me by surprise. This one trophy will take you the longest to obtain. Casually playing the game, I didn't use the Day/Night cycle which meant that when I decided to get the platinum, I played well over the estimated completion time. Rookie mistake!

Happy Town requires a very specific setup for your city to achieve the trophy, so this trophy might initially stump you. If you don't care about completion percentages, go for it. If you care about completion percentages, be aware of the DLCs. There are many DLC packs so you will always need to play catch-up with the ever expanding to-do lists of trophy hunting. Overall, it is a good game that dragged on.
