I know little about Batman, all i know about it comes from this series and the 90's movies, but even i called what the twist of this game was instantly.
That aside it was still a fun game for exploration and collectathon elements and all that usual Arkham goodness.
I was neutral on the Batmobile, i disliked that now riddler's challenges were centered around the car, but i liked the parts where you got to switch into tank combat mode and have a bit of Battle City goodness.
Basically for better or worse a lot of the game is centered around the car, both for exploration and puzzles. At least it's never dragging you down that much, you can summon it anytime etc.

People like to give this game a hard time but not me, i liked the story with all the wacky Batman universe assassins coming after you and you coming after them, as usual it was chock full of fun side content to do too.
I'm gonna have to say out of all the Arkham games this one has my favorite setting, this time you get the entire city, to my memory it's twice as big as in Arkham City. Not just that but it's set around Christmas Time, so the entire map is snowy and has that same atmosphere that you could get from the older Batman movies.
Sadly i didn't get 100% in this game because one single collectible is bugged and you can't return to collect it later LOL!
It doesn't have Mark Hamill as Joker but i'm not a fan of knocking the entire game down because it was missing a single person from the mix, i see that kinda weird cultism a lot with a few other series.
But yeah it's pretty fun and good and it might be my favorite from the mix.

It's one of these great sequels that does what the predecessor did, but bigger and better.
Now instead of being on one island, you have a whole (half) of a city to explore and fly around and do all of that same trinket finding, exploring and puzzle solving.
Very very fun to 100%.

It's a really good adventure brawly metroidvania-lite kinda game
I never cared about Batman that much but it made the story interesting even for non-fans and it kinda converted me a little bit
The combat is simple like in Assassin's Creed, one button for punch and one for counter, i don't mind it because the game's strong point is exploration and doing a little pretend detective work with tools
It's a bit of a collectathon and it's fun to 100%, you have to explore properly to find the little riddler trophies, but there are also "puzzles" you have to "solve" by taking a photo of certain things in the environment that are hinted to whenever you enter an area
There is a lot of detail in the environments and it's full of references to other Batman characters and works
What i remember fondly is that i had a potato PC in 2009 but despite how breathtaking this game looked, it ran on my system just fine
Unreal Engine 3 is a miracle

A worthy sequel, set during the industrial revolution
The levels are super cool and have even more of that grimy gothic atmosphere since now you're prowling through english towns and circuses and resident evil gardens (and more)
You get an egyptian girlfriend and you somehow have a big emotional drama subplot involving a time machine and jack the ripper
You also fight a giant T-Rex skeleton that turns into a Pterodactyl, and if you play long enough you get a gatling gun
I think that's a good enough sales pitch

Best game of all time
Very burtonesque atmosphere (back when he was good), god tier music, amazing world / artstyle / level design
The combat is like a 0.000001% slight bit clunk but it has a hectic feeling to it and it matches the tone of the game
I spent many sleepless childhood nights playing this and then watching scooby doo reruns back when not sleeping all night was a big deal

Tu~ Tu~ Tu~ Tut tu tu~
Tu~ Tu~ Tu~ Tut tu tu~
(The jingle when you start the game)

It's good for a jumpy game fix and it has fun coop
I wish there was more worlds
It kinda feels like half of a game but for the resources it was made with it's really good
Lots of player made content on the workshop, which also can be played coop

Ughhhh the game tries a lot of ambitious ideas with giving you control of multiplie armies, but it also has a lot of annoying ideas like giving you control of multiple armies. Also the game is generally waaaaay tooo frickin long and way too messy. The story could be really good if the game was condensed and better paced.
It has a lot of different map objectives compared to most FE games so that's cool.

Not sure why this game exists, i don't hate it but i don't feel like playing it again.
It's like Resident Evil 4 but with monokumas instead.
There's some uhhh... possible probable culture shock in this game. To put it gently.

Honestly it's kinda good
It's the exact opposite of PoE, it's like the least complicated game ever, and i appreciate that a lot as a break from all the other CBT-tier games i like to play
You have 3 equipment slots (Melee, Bow, Armor - you end up being able to upgrade each in a lot of neat ways which dedicate your playstyle) and 3 artifact slots (All kinds of things to help you, from an extra heal to a forcefield to a Loki cube that just lasers everything in your way).
Instead of having a class and a skill tree so long it feels like you're doing taxes, you just kinda have a freeform character based on what you mix and match equipment-wise and what works for ya.
Honestly the game didn't seem like much but it gets pretty fun and hectic. Needless to say though, if i couldn't play it co-op then i wouldn't be interested much.
Also it has this season pass thing where you can unlock dab dances and such, at least you can pay a one time fee to keep unlocking some cool lil things through gameplay instead of being charged per dab emoji like in most games.
And yeah i generally like the minecraft aesthetic a lot, i'm suuuuuuuuch a blockhead lol.

It's hard to say how i feel about this game.
I'm one of these people who only half warmed up to all the Kurain and spirit medium stuff, so to have an entire game mostly be in the land of magical mumbo jumbo, i was sceptic.
I liked the second case, the fourth case was super cool and funny, and the last case was actually really really good and it had a lot of moments that hit in the feels.
Apollo is really good in this game and if these past three games are to be considered his trilogy, i'd consider them a satisfying character arc.
One standout thing that i hated were the annoying spirit seances, they took forever everytime, worst gimmick ever.
Also Bunny girl and Clown girl cute. And a big hell yeah for Maya and Ema.
I haven't played the DLC yet, i will have to do that sometime.

It's a bit of a weird attempt at returning to the status quo after the massive changes from the previous game, but i think it was very enjoyable for at least one playthrough.
The transition to 3D isn't that bad, but it could be better.
The third and DLC cases are very good. The last part of the game is a bit of a mess of weird pacing and recycled ideas but the big twist was neat.
And again despite being DLC, the sixth case is up there to being one of the best in the series to me.

I'll never get why some people are so against this game, i really liked it and treat with the same respect as the trilogy. Don't let all the changes bias you against it, coming in expecting to hate it.
It's fine!
Apollo and Trucy are very likeable characters. People like to give Polly a hard time for needing help, but it's made pretty clear that he's a novice, surrounded by pros. They tried something new and i think it was different in a good way. Not every story has to be fully centered around the protagonist, nor does it have to let him have all the glory.
I like the idea of fallen Phoenix a lot, there's something adult and real about it. It was a shock, but it was a good shock.
Especially the last case which gets a lot of hate, i really enjoyed the dry, dark realism about it. It had a tone to it that no other case in the series has before or since.
