The cheeseburger from Plaque Attack is one of the most compelling antagonists in any game I have ever played. Why is it he wants to destroy the teeth so badly? What history do him and the toothpaste have with each other that has started their rivalry? It really got me thinking deeper about how characters are written.

If I had to place a bet between Half-Life 3 or this game getting finished first, I'd put my money on Half-Life 3.

In the dark age of the law where the law has been reduced to rubble-there is only one man who can end it...he who whispered into my years "In justice we trust!" as tears trickled down my thighs, I saw the holy visage of the angelic being Bobby Fulbright!

I adore the visual appeal and vibes of Sonic Adventure 1, it's so goddamn cozy and charming, while feeling like an evolution to the original Genesis games in various ways. Yeah, the story isn't great, and some of the stages can feel a bit cumbersome, but this was such a wonderful, ambitious piece of 3D platforming fun, especially for 1998. Good shit, people that don't like this game are stupid.

I never expected any gacha to actually get me, but it appears even I can be fallible. Has an incredibly charming fantasy world that has something for basically everybody to enjoy. Starts off as a very early One Piece-y fantasy RPG adventure and allows itself to branch off into so many other directions at a scale that fills me with absolute wonder and amazement. Gameplay was kinda mind-numbing early on but the later parts really gripped me with how much variety you get in builds and team composition, though I still have a lot to learn about what the hell a grid is. Also been having a very smooth F2P experience personally, though I probably should owe a lot of that to good timing with fully diving in during the 10th Anni celebration. Cagliostro is literally me.

Yiik for people who exclusively engage with shonen slop

This is the greatest game of all time

Disagree = Wrong and you didn't get it

The gameplay is a mess but can be fun. The story is also a mess but I enjoyed it. The live service stuff is way more of a mess and I don't have a 'but' for that.

The Donkey Kong Country games are truly devoid of merit. If you shill this terrible generation of Donkey Kong madness, you are stupid! Yes, I know. That's insulting, but it's also the truth

Who tf is Kevin Graham
Ries peak tho

What an absolute disgrace
Boring combat, bland presentation, and a story that has nothing meaningful to say and instead relies on cheap shock value like "OMG, what if a child DIED"
Everyone involved with this should be ashamed with themselves

Nayuta no Kiseki was a game that i've been looking forward since i've caught up to trails (Kuro 1 back then) and something was always strange of why this game took more than a decade to get localized and after NISA announcing Nayuta is coming to west, nothing could've prepared on how much i've loved.

It's so crazy knowing Falcom releasing games every single year, but something is very different in this one game especifically. For a example that really took their own time to create an story than doesnt really rely in the other games, and that's the biggest strength of this game, it gives a sense of identity while pleasing the veterans like me. Also it's not a game that was forced to be the next game for whatever means, like Tokyo Xanadu was released to give more dev time for YS 8 or Kuro no Kiseki 2 for YS X in the same reason.

So coming from after Kuro 2, i'm so glad Nayuta felt like a complete fresh of an air, chibi sprites, old falcom soundteam soul, immaculate art direction and a simple but touching story while maintaining a bit of the Trails series is everything i wished for. It's safe to say that it meet my expectations by a long shot, playing an trails game late a night and having me dialed makes this game an another special to me. Especially considering the struggle of being an Trails fan.

The last thing i wanted to mentioned is how i geniuely missed the old comfy and insane tracks that Falcom is very known for, especially Saki Momiyama (Zero/Azure composer) was insane in this game, it geniuely stole the spotlight for me and makes me miss the cohesion and the passion of every sound team composer and making an special game for as long they can remember.
