really fun, especially once you get the controls down. the camera and some 100 coin stars are terrible, but rest of the game is pretty good!!

level design is great. all the stars are fun. music is phenomenal. would be a masterpiece if the controls weren't garbage. having stuff like long jumps and triple jumps be based on how fast mario is moving beforehand is a huge miss and navigating tight areas is such a pain because of that.

this game is all over the place lmao. it was at it's best when it was just a simple shooting and building game. now there is so much stuff being shoved in the game that it just feels overwhelming. haven't had actual fun with this game since the start of chapter 2.
