Couldn't finish it, boring open world, repeitive quest system, no interesting characters and a lack luster story. Gears fell off

A disappointing sequel in a promoising franchise. Forza Horizon 4 while starting to feel repetiive kept the formula going with the elimintator game mode an interesting world and new seasonal mechanic.
However, Forza Horizon 5 adds nothing new and even takes a lot away in terms of quality. The only improvement is the graphics, everything else is falling behind. The worlds pretty, yet paper thin. Samey enviroments spread across a desolate map. even the cities feel copied and pasted. There is no character to the map. Nothing interesting about it, sad to say as mexico as a location was a fun concept.
The story is boring and the races have little impact either. The races blend with the map, they feel samey and repetetive after a few. The voice acting is just annoying, evey character sounds fake happy and drove me mad. I had to mute them.
The saving grace are the cars and the driving. The variety is amazing and the driving is fun and I would love have to driven them in a more interesting enviroment.
Ultimatley a game with a soild base ruined by it boring execution.

The first half of this game is 10/10 honestly. Only caveat would be I think Nemisis needed to act as more of a threat to the player. Taking him down for extended periods with one grenade is a little dissapointing. However the zombies, atmosphere, gameplay and survival mechanics in the first area are amazing.
The hospital is also a really great area with the most tense gameplay in the whole game. However towards the end it feels less and less polished in terms of pacing and level design. Gives off a rushed feeling, which dampens the game sadly. If the game kept its pace and level design from start to finish this would be an easy 10/10 but it falls flat towards the end. So I'd say its an 8/10 just because the starting areas are so well tuned.
