A pretty nice "adaptation." Has some pretty funny controls though. For fans first and gamers second.

Lots of missed potential given the systems capabilities, still, enjoyable to an extent nonetheless.

I would say that it sure has been a bit overpraised, but that is with good reason of course.

Only complaint is how some stupidly difficult some missions can be, especially depending on what platform you're using (PC in my situation). Still a classic, and I love the 80s setting and aesthetic.

Valve doesn't make 'em like these no more.

Great music, while it loses the sort of arcade-y feeling of the first game and takes a heavy focus on the story, it is still very much enjoyable. I will never forget losing my shit over the hard mode.

A classic old school FPS that was revolutionary for the genre, still nice to go back to from time to time.

It's overall good with it's visuals and everything else it offers, but it lacks what previous games offered. One main problem is villager interaction, and instead of focusing on feeling like you're in a small community it instead feels like a big little dollhouse for you to mess with.
