A very solid fps puzzle game. If you like Portal you'll like this. Just constantly mixes the gameplay up throughout. Great general light story throughout.

A kind of awkward controlling "racing" game that's pretty easy as long as you're careful about not sending your car off a cliff. Pretty fun 3d 90s game with a goofy twist where you can run over people. Reminds me a lot of twisted metal, but with a lot of people on the road. Win the race and you unlock the next course.

A fun "reverse adventure" game where you're telling the person doing the puzzles how to do them over the phone with fairly easy puzzles and if you're that worried about it you can save whenever.

I enjoyed it a whole lot mainly due to the interactions with the cast and the general idea of it. Would love to see a different take on the same idea/sequel in the future.

The story doesn't quite live up to what I was expecting, the ending just sort of happens suddenly and I had kind of pieced together what was going on earlier from a few small things you can find laying around that you can't bring up in dialogue. Really besides a few more puzzles, this game is missing a Fallout esque epilogue slideshow or something to that effect to see what happened to everyone afterwards.

Oh also big plus, no jump scares besides a very telegraphed one at the very beginning and a few small, cans knocked over, parts.

Mild Spoilers:
A slightly better version of the first game in every way except for the main story which is slightly worse if only because its a spinoff.

Points:
The stealth and combat works much better this time around.
The city continues to blow up once a week with no one worrying about it that much except when its happening. Its endearing at this point.
They tried to make me really hate one of the villains and be more sympathetic to the other, but when the sympathetic died I was saying Rip Bozo during the sad moment. Honestly I just wanted Miles to stop being such a pushover once and tell her off.
There's actual side quests where you help specific people with a problem and it makes the world feel much more alive.
Its Chrimbus Time, oddly enough just like the batman video game spinoff, Arkham Origins.
The main story is a bit weaker but really just because this its an inbetween/spin off before the big sequel.

Also they "slyly" added in an avengers building so i guess we might get connected games eventually maybe.

Its shadow of the colossus but all fancy and new. I fell off of the older ps2 original due to so many technical issues at around the 6th colossus. A lot of my complaints extend to the first one.

Points:
60fps on my ps4 pro, instead of like 20fps on the ps2
Just really nice looking now in general
A very fun and interesting kind of artsy game that doesn't forget its a video game.
The camera will constantly fight you if you try to look anywhere other then the "cinematic" shot its going for and it gets pretty annoying.
about half of the colossus have one trick to defeat them and if you just don't solve the puzzle, you won't get anywhere. I set myself a rule, if i'm not getting anywhere after 15 minutes I'll look up how to do it
Expected more general platforming in the game beyond climbing the colossi, but beyond a few moments almost all the game is unclimbable. Not a big thing against the game though.
A few times in the game I had solved the puzzle but just couldn't get the dumb colossus to do what i wanted, it was fairly rare though and did make it much more satisfying to defeat them. It really turns me off of trying the last guardian though.

The last of the great casual games before monetization took over everything in that space. Its a fairly simple tower defense that oozes charm and with a fun campaign that is over after around 5 hours.

Would recommend finding a copy of the Popcap Ultimate Collection from 2013 with all their great games in one drm free collection. I won't tell you where to get it but i'm sure you can find an ARCHIVE on the INTERNET somewhere.

A fine game that's a bit clunky from the few hours i've played that sadly just made me want to play one of the like 7 old style resident evil games.

One of the first great licensed games, it really just blew me away when I first played it around 15. I was pretty desperate for good teen rated games I was allowed to play through.

You get the batmobile! and uhhh, its decent i guess. It looks cool but is only decent to actually play and they really want you to use it all the time.
Also the story has a severe lack of an... ending. It just sort of stops at some point. Just not as good as arkham city really, more of the same with some more things pushing it to the side.

This game really holds up so well. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score is there just being a tad too many inbetween moments where you're just doing simple platforming in an enclosed area. Oh also some of the character designs are really weird looking, basically the 4 or so women in the game.
The combat is just so good though, just beautiful

A great game that feels just a bit short of something as good as batman arkham city on the gameplay part.

Points:
The story, while simple, is great and leaves a lot open to a sequel. Which while the sequel did just come out its ps5 exclusive so i doubt i'll be playing it anytime soon, since rental places don't exist anymore.
The combat, both crowd and stealth, is solid but not fantastic. Lot of getting stuck on items. Also the enemies do a bunch of damage so getting stuck dodging into a trashcan and killed isn't fun. The batman games just didn't have this issue.
The gadgets don't make a massive difference beyond just spamming the web.
Movement through the open world is very fun to do. Feels great.
I like how it starts much later in the storyline, with spiderman having been at this for 8 years.

Just a very solid 15ish hours to spend doing things but I wouldn't stay around beyond the main story.

A bite sized return to alan wake, focusing mainly on the combat. The story is relatively flat, sometimes it feels like they're making a joke but not quite. I do love the combat loop though.

A very fun horror-lite game, see teen rating on box, that does a fantastic job with the atmosphere. The gameplay loop of looting, odd flashlight shooting mechanic, and dodging around, really worked for me which is apparently rare seeing the other reviews. Also the cars were a welcome surprise

Ran a tad too long for what it is, its about 10-11 hours when it should have been 7-8 hours. It really felt like it was stretching itself near the end and also the dlc is pretty awful.

I thank remedy for releasing a well done teen rated horror game at a time when i wasn't allowed to play m rated games but had a real interest in the idea of a horror video game.

This is about the 3rd time i've tried coming back to this game and every time the first town stops me. Apparently its really good, and i like all the concepts it has and combat, but that first town is such a brick wall before you can go out and do anything in the game that i've once again fallen off the game.

What feels like 300 random (talk to x person) quests with little to no guidance on what do to, some timed, and all pretty tedious before you can go actually play the game outside the walls.

Occasionally you'll get a map marker that tells you what might be the general area to go next in one of the 15ish quests you're supposed to keep track of with only a journal entry on them. I guess I'll give the 2nd one since this came in a bundle. Maybe that one has cleaned it up. I know baldur's gate 3 has definitely had to have fixed this issue with its 9.9999/10 average rating.

expect to spend at least 5 hours running around the first town if you decide to try and play this game.

Whoooo boy. Its a bit stinky. Imagine fallout 4 but with slightly better story telling/quests and: a broken base building loop, a broken crafting system loop, significantly more menus and loading to do anything than in previous bethesda games, weird names for all the weapons so its more difficult to do inventory management.

While the storytelling for parts is mildly interesting its not worth the effort, honestly it makes me appreciate fallout 4 more for how well the inventory, crafting, settlement, and the menus worked and introduced themselves.

I gave it the old college try and put 15 hours in.
