An absolutely great game.
Tons of easter eggs, some fun/interesting side quests, plenty of activities to keep you busy in the world of DBZ... and best of all a pretty darn good retelling of the anime. Is it exact? No, but for a fan this was a better reliving of the show than just rewatching through.
Combat has it moments, though can certainly feel repetitive at times. They did a great job of making the epic battles feel EPIC and captured a ton of really big moments.

Remarkable game - THIS is Star Wars.
Really loved the storytelling, game was beautiful. Combat was engaging and it balanced a good difficulty curve while also feeling yourself get stronger throughout the game.
Biggest criticism is the same for most games.. going back and trying to 100% is super annoying with all the backtracking and lack of fast travel.

Game that gets more and more enjoyable as you go. Beautifully made, solid story, and a ton of exploring/bonus content to take on beyond the main story late in the game including some challenging boss fights!
What holds this back from being a 5 is the early part of the game. The first ~6 hours is a slog and feels like a tunnel sim without a ton of variety and the story hook isnt really in you yet.
The game absolutely does get better and better as it opens up and you get some weapon/playstyle variety.

Updated October 2023: Picked this game back up, and my criticisms from below are largely being addressed through patches. A lot of depth is being added by the way of "skill trees" for each survivor, and its been great.
Really good basis for a game in it's current state.
Dash mechanic keeps the combat/survival interactive and hands on. Decent bit of build/playstyle variety.
Feels a bit incomplete, and the number of different resources is a bit bloated and over the top.
Feels like this will be a great game as they add more and refine it further.

Had a surprisingly enjoyable time with this game. Played it on steam deck and 100% it. Great experience, great tunes, and an eccentric art style to it.
Game is definitely on the shorter end. Some decent puzzles, though nothing too daunting. Just a fun chill game. Didn't overstay its welcome, though definitely could've used a bit of -something- more. Maybe another level to it? Maybe less backtracking.
All in all worth the time!
