The game that introduced me to the series. A game I hold a special place in my heart. The New Order is not only the best modern game in the series, but also revived the retro shooter craze we are still experiencing. This fun as hell brutal shooter is one of the best I've played. BJ is back and better than ever. He is basically Chris Redfield if he didn't punch boulders but punched Nazis. The New Order also showcases the brutality of the Nazis if they won the war, showing hate crimes and war crimes left and right. The best antagonist in gaming history is Frau Engel. A crazy nazi woman who is crazy as they come. Tormenting BJ and have a partner with her named Bubi. Who is a character of his own. The New Order isn't about it's faults. The difficulty can get really bad at times(not as bad as New Colossus) but you can see it in certain points. BJ may have lots of health but that health will drain fast if not careful. But this game is a masterpiece in shooting and game design. Machinegames did a great job.

Wolfenstein 2009 is one of the most underrated games I've ever played. Critically panned on released, sold poorly and basically killed the series for a long time. But this game is quite unique and fun. Raven basically took the supernatural elements of Wolfenstein and hammed it up to the max. BJ is just some dude now, he isn't the roided out beefcake we are used to. The game at the beginning does play like a average call of duty game, with cover and regenerating health. But turns into its own thing when you get the Veil. A powerful object which buffs BJ with superpowers. Wolfenstein may not be the most praised or favorite among fans, but it's still a fun shooter with an insane premise.

Wolfenstein 3D is a landmark and important title in the first person shooter genre. As much as I love the series, the first game is hard to return to. For one the levels are too complicated and complex to be enjoyable. Since it was 1992 and the tech wasn't up to snuff, most levels were mazes and secrets hidden in walls. Since you have no auto map, you had to memorize the layouts. Which isn't fun. The game is also difficult since damage is done entirely by RNG. One shot from an enemy can take 10 health while another takes 30 or 40. It's very frustrating on higher levels. But it's still fun for the novelty and history of the genre. Also it's a nice easter egg in New Colossus. Overall it's a fine game, that hasn't aged well

What is the definition of peak fiction. This game right here. What do I need to be said that hasn't been said already. Streets of Rage 2 improves on the aspects of the first game so much in terms of music, graphics, gameplay and gameplay feel. The madlad that is Yuzo Koshiro did it again this time being a game director with his company. Streets of Rage 2 introduces so many mainstays in the series and I don't know what more to say about this fantastic video game of sixteen bit design. Although I never ever grew up with this game, I did play this when my mom gave me her old Genesis and loved this game. Streets of Rage 2 is the quintessential console beat em up for a reason.

Streets of Rage is one of my favorite Sega franchises because it's probably the best console beat em up series ever made. Even from the first game Sega had something cooking and it paid off. The amazing music done by the iconic Yuzo Koshiro and the graphics for the time was something to behold. We get introduced to now iconic characters such as Axel, Blaze and Adam who became mainstays in the series. The gang war and the taking down a evil syndicate isn't the most original idea ever but it's still fun beating up baddies. Streets of Rage is a seminal moment in the Genesis life and basically was another jab at Nintendo.

This is my favorite 3D Mario duology of all time. The galaxy games are super nostalgic to me since they were the first 3D games I've played. The planet system and the graphics blew my mind as a kid and I got this for Christmas and I was so happy. Masterpiece

This game is what I define is a masterpiece of a video game. The game that Nintendo refused to localize and I finally played it via emulation. Right in the first chapter this game hit me with a gut punch of emotion that I haven't felt since Last of Us. Mother 3 is indeed one of the best GBA games ever made and a game every Nintendo, JRPG, Retro enthusiast and gamer should play once in their life. What a masterpiece of a video game.

Earthbound is one of those games I've always heard about from retro YouTubers and basically the Internet in general. My best friend even told me about a game called "Mother" and I was super intrigued. So when I finally played this I was floored with how amazingly unique the game was. But I can definitely see the censoring. This is essentially Stranger Things but in the 90s and that's kinda cool. The wacky world that Ness and Lucas lives in is fun and flashy. The game is one of the most unique JRPGs on the platform and worth a play on NSO. Since the original cart is ludicrously expensive. This is a fantastic video game.

This game is peak fiction. No more needs to be said.

It's fun. The mowing down hordes of zombies with a SMG like it's World War Z never gets old. But the gore is very much reduced and the music is barely there. It's still a fun game with lots of cool bits.

A fine installment in the series a Xbox console exclusive for a while, using a shotgun feels amazing and the new setting is fun. The gore is even more gorier and the humour is toned down, but it's still fun classic Sega light gun action. But now on a Xbox.

This game is the peak of the series. House of the Dead 2 improves on the first game in so many ways, the bad English voice acting is just the cherry on top. The graphics are amazing, the gore is meaty and juicy and the Dreamcast port is fantastic. Honestly what more is there to say. It's mf House of the Dead 2

It's fun. Graphics have not aged, the gore is toned down but it's still a fun light gun game.

The underrated game in the series that I fondly enjoy. Yes the game looks way different and has a more edgier style to it, but it's still Ridge Racer at the core of it. Fun driving physics, amazing music and a full fledged single player campaign. Rage Racer may not be Type 4 or the original but it's still a good racing game
