Story's not great but everything else is.

Nice presentation but the original release of this game is clearly unfinished. The updated release might alleviate some of this but I have no desire to return to it.

This game wants you to play it multiple times and you'll want to play it multiple times but there's so much variation and story stuff you will probably never see.
The card gameplay does get a bit tiring after a point unfortunately.

Picross is fun and the adventure game plot is okay but they really don't work together.
If you want to solve picross puzzles you can easily find a way to do so that lets you play as many or as few as you want at a time.
If you want to enjoy the plot it'll shove picross puzzles in your face before you can advance it, sometimes several in a row.
This works ok at first but when you go further in it becomes a major problem. The later chapters having more complicated puzzles mean you can go around 10 or 20 minutes before advancing the dialogue leading to a very frustrating time and poor plot pacing.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't actually deserve this score but it does in my memories

Playing this for too long destroys your hand

I think I would have a more positive view of this game had I not 100% it first time playing. The main story missions are way higher quality than the many hours going around barren planets, walking down identical corridors, and trying to sort the stupid inventory system.

Controversial opinion but the additional buttons and improved interactions make this game far smoother to play then the original. No more messing around in menus every single screen to equip your sword, your gloves, the roc's feather or the running shoes.

Those guys in the last palace are called Fokkers because they'll fok you up.

This game is very dumb. It gets points for being funny.
