The central story is great but the different routes feel tacked on. Half of them could be cut without affecting anything.

This ending has balls.
Balls!
The whole game works surprisingly well on a replay.

Some of the story works and occasionally the gameplay is fun, but the bad parts are offensive with their handling of sensitive subjects

Very frustrating in ways Dark Souls is not, but still has the elements of a good souls game.

I went into this thinking the criticism would be overblown.
I went out of it infuriated for so many reasons.

A David Cage style game that doesn't have its head up its own ass. A fun game and story.

A great horror in that it knows when to scare and how to deliver an emotional story.
Genuinely sad and heartfelt.

Ugly and slow. Starts to feel like a chore to play pretty quickly.

The card combat works much better in this version than the ps2 remaster but still outstays its welcome.
There are some standout boss battles though.

Great art and designs, good writing, and characters really brought to life through a talented voice cast and charming animation.

I have around 1000 hours logged on this.
I've never reached the actual end date.

Some compelling character moments, and a lot of very uncompelling ones.
There aren't enough escape rooms overall. It takes a while to reach the first one after starting the game and there are none for the final portion of the game either.
Everything from the twist onwards is unintentionally hilarious and great to watch people react to.

Holds up far better than I expected. A tense and interesting Sci-Fi Thriller with neat puzzle rooms that's a worthy sequel to 999.

A massive improvement over Dual Destinies.

I liked Spirit of Justice but then this game reminded me of the Ace Attorney I loved.
An amazing game and story all around.
