tried to balance quality game design and horror experience equally. i know F.E.A.R. and other games have horror elements, but I'm focusing more on survival horror, and the type of horror where you're not necessarily a powerful guy. condemned is an exception because it's only like that at the end. doom 3 is also an exception because demons can beat your ass easily as well, and there were many more moments of feeling weak than there were power trips

overall was focusing more on atmosphere and tensity than how scared i was (which i was in a lot of these). basically all about "vibes"
