The touch controls don't work too well for the Switch, and even if they did, the combat is just a bit too uninteresting. The DS version is probably better, never got a chance to play it

I hate spectacle fighters and yet still liked this game, so that probably says something. Really added a fun gameplay loop and story. Lovely to look at also. If there were less QTEs and better licensed music then I think it would've been perfect (or maybe I just don't like NIN as much as I thought).

The game is fantastic whenever you're not sailing, but unfortunately about half the game is about sailing, and it's not very enjoyable. You mostly just watch your boat for 3-5 minutes while doing fetch quests. Too many of the islands or side paths you encounter just give you rupees you don't need. Shame, since the music and art are honestly the best of the entire series.
