One of my favorite games ever. I just wish the online was more active -- desperately needs a Switch port.

Fantastic game. The only nitpicks I have is that Kasumi's inclusion can feel a little forced at times -- her interactions with the rest of the Phantom Thieves doesn't feel right. The battle system is also way too easy. Overall, it's a great game and improves on the original in so many ways I've lost count of it all.

I want to come back to this game but it just keeps frustrating me.

Great game. I just wish the weapons were a little more balanced. There's too much of a focus on heavy weapons like two handed swords.

Good game. The only reason I stopped playing is because the Remastered version got announced when I was in the middle of my playthrough. Whoops.

I'd like to return to this game but it can get a bit frustrating with how poorly it runs on the PS4.

This game is tied with Yakuza 0 with me. One of the best plots in a Yakuza game, and the combat is the best I've seen from the newer Dragon Engine games. I just wish it was in 60fps. Port this game to PC already pls SEGA.

This game is shockingly good. The new characters are all really compelling, Saejima in particular is amazing. I feel like the game starts to fall apart in the latter part of the story, as things start getting a little too silly and the plot twists become so ridiculous that this game spawned a meme. That being said, this game definitely feels like one of the more heartfelt, genuine Yakuza games. The flaws are easy to forgive because you can really feel the passion from the writers for this game. The gameplay, thankfully, is pretty good too.

Wow. This is old and shockingly rough. I can only recommend this if you are patient for janky old action games. I watched a summary video for this game on youtube and skipped it.

The story is really good and immensely memorable. The music is some of the best in the series. Some of the best substories in the series are in this one. My only real gripe with this game is that the combat isn't quite as good as Yakuza 0's, but it's still very good in it's own right. The PC port also could've used some better optimization.

Not as good as Yakuza 0 or a lot of the stronger games in the series for that matter. There's a lot of bloat and some of the enemy encounters are insufferable. Substories can be kind of weak. Overall though, it's still a very solid game. Just not one of the best ones.

Best Yakuza game. That's all that needs to be said.

Game good. I just wish it ran better online. When playing with four people, the framerate commonly drops to gross levels. It's still playable, but visually can be a bit of a mess and it becomes hard to discern what's happening.
Looking forward to the updates to this.

I played the PC version. Huge mistake. I'll come back to this game to finish it once the Steam patch releases. Because of the state it's in right now, I can't stand playing it.
