Level design isn't quite as good as X1 but this is still kino

This port is interesting to me, because on paper it has so much that makes it look better than the DC original, but in execution it's littered with weird bugs and jank that wasn't there on the Dreamcast. A lot of collision detection issues were introduced here that makes the game look really bad. I can't believe the modern ports never fixed the bugs in it.

The Dreamcast original is probably the best iteration of this game. The graphics aren't quite as good as DX, but this version doesn't have the jank or bugs that were introduced in the remaster. The only real problem I had was the occasional long loading screen and slowdown on Skydeck. Hopefully this game gets a better port soon that's more representative of the original game.

GOAT
One of the best, tightest 3D platformers I've ever played. There's so much to love here and I really think this game has something for everybody.

Overwatch was fun at first, but over the years it's become progressively worse and worse as every patch has tried to make the game less fun, which I applaud Blizzard for, as it takes a lot of skill to make a great game a bad one.

A really tight experience. I wish this sort of faster paced, tougher FPS experience was more common nowadays. I definitely prefer HL2 over the CoD clones where you aim down sights all the time and have aim assist play the game for you.

Nothing too special. It's just really good.

The story is probably one of the worst Metal Gear stories ever and I absolutely hate what they did to Raiden's character. I also am not a fan of how this game essentially rehashes themes from MGS2 and makes everything about MGS4's ending completely meaningless. The new characters are very loveable though.
Bad story aside, it's a really fun action game. I wish it had actual weapon switching though -- I always end up just sticking to the Katana and not bothering to use other weapons because there's just no reason to.

Solves everything wrong with the original N64 release, and is largely a faithful remake aside from that. The graphics are a perfect interpretation of the original concept art, it has one of my favorite Zelda art styles, and 30fps is a big improvement. This also has one of the better implementations of gyro aim, which I really appreciated.

This game holds up remarkably well. To me, OoT is timeless. The only real problem is the way boots are handled, which makes the Water Temple take a little too long. Aside from that, it is nearly perfect.

Fantastic action game. It's only real sin in my opinion is the mandatory minigames that drag on for too long. Missions are also a bit too long in comparison to DMC.

Fantastic game that challenges a lot of norms in games that was largely misunderstood at release. I just wish the ending with Eli was actually finished and implemented into the game.

lots of fun to play with friends. All it really needs is a voice chat option so you're not forced to use Discord. Never ever play this with random people.
