it's kind of a shame that square-enix had to revisit the most iconic final fantasy to get the franchise back on track. it's "probably" a 4/5 but it's a personal 5/5 for me

i was so hopelessly addicted to this game in college that i failed an entire semester because all i did was play this and smoke cigarettes. that should speak volumes for the game's quality but i will never touch this incredible, horrible game again

i got this game in 1999 but my mom didn't let me play it for a few weeks because barret always says FUCK!!!!! i stole it out of her room and played it anyway. i love this game so dearly
