One of the few Mario Kart games I return to because of the mechanic that doesn't even feel like a gimmick. Also I like creating unethical character combos like baby mario and petey piranha on a kart that's just a skinned yoshi.

pretty fun gameplay but there's an insane amount of unnecessary dialogue that makes 60% of your play time just spamming "a" to get through text. the gameplay idea isn't unique, but again, it's pretty good
smash 4 on wiiu but it's more novel for being portable, and I also like smash run
this game has almost no replay value and feels super janky but at least it fulfills what it's supposed to be. at least the 3ds one is novel though for being portable.

I’m gonna sound crazy for giving this such a high score since it’s just Tetris, but it’s easily the best game in the series. There’s so much more in the game than just the marathon mode. My favorite side mode is the puzzle one since not only is it super fun, addicting, and difficult, but there’s also like 300 levels of it. This game has an insane amount of content for just a Tetris game. Not to mention, the DS is the perfect system for a Tetris game.
Genuinely surprised at how much I loved this game. It’s beautiful and has some really amazing gameplay that holds up against and makes itself different than other PS2 IPs like Ratchet, Crash, or Jak. Really excited to play the sequel, since that’s apparently the best one.

Everything you’ve heard about this game is true. There’s no physics, there’s no collision 90% of the game, it’s all grammatically incorrect, and I love it. Everyone needs to play this game. This is the funniest game of all time. It makes no sense. But you have to play it in short 10 minute bursts like once a year because it’ll get boring quickly. The game sucks in every way so I’ll have to give it a low score, but you really have to play this game in the right way to enjoy it a little. 0/10 game but I love playing it.

Recently, I picked up this game again, for no other reason besides it being a childhood game for me. I fully went in expecting a bland, but polished game like its successors, but I accidentally fell in love with this game again. It’s so insanely creative, introduces some really fun power-ups, and only reminds me of what the NSMB series could’ve been if the Wii game didn’t go for a more traditional and boring experience. The minigames from Mario 64 DS are a nice bonus. I am a god gamer at Luigi’s Casino and Wanted, but it made me realize that I probably played more of the minigames than the actual game as a kid.
