Really good 2D platformer in the vein of mega-man. The shovel gameplay is fun and the love letter to the game of yore is really well done. I never got around to playing any of the other campaigns besides the original. But this one of the few original indie darlings that I believe actually lived up to the hype.

The only soulsborne game that I actually enjoyed. The faster combat in this one kept me more engaged, but eventually I ended up bailing on this one. The atmosphere and level design are top notch, but I'll never understand why you would design an area with a constant poison mechanic on a game that is supposed to actively reward exploration. The game is hard enough as it is. Still, I enjoyed my time with this one.

An excellent exploration platformer with some really cool boss fights. It's crazy that this was made entirely by one person. The story is cool and cryptic, and the guns are all fun to use. The environments are varied. Great game.

Pretty meh puzzle adventure game, but it has a unique setting. Don't see many games with Inuit culture at the forefront.

This game certainly wears its inspiration on its sleeve. I've never really been a fan of the soulsborne games, and this off-brand version didn't do anything to win me over either.

The tv show style structuring of the campaign was kind of cool, but the actual campaign itself was pretty trash, so I didn't complete it after like 3 episodes. The multiplayer was also pretty bad.

This is a pretty mediocre 3rd person adventure deduction game, but it has a cool vibe.

This game is a fun distraction to play when you have nothing else, but it isn't amazing in anyway. I like the vibe and aesthetic though.

This game kicks so much ass. The dual-wield shooting is awesome and the story is great, what more could you ask for in a single-player FPS?

Incredible looking game. Gameplay and story are about as bland as it gets, but the game looks fantastic, and the setting is cool as hell. The short length wasn't great.

Moon logic to 11 on this one. Played this while reading the walkthrough the entire time. The story is cool, but the puzzles are ridiculous.

This game was too big for its own good. I started out really enjoying my time with this one, but eventually the scope of the game got to me and I didn't feel like I was making any progress. I enjoyed the gameplay and the story up to what I played, and I'm still excited for whatever Dragon Age 4 ends up being, but I don't know if I'll ever get back to this one. Never say never though.

Played this game in one sitting with a friend. It's not the most amazing game, but it's a fun puzzle/action/adventure game made all the better because it can be played completely in co-op.

Played 3 out of the 5 cases in this one. Was enjoying it for what it was, but eventually abandoned it for one reason or another. I'm a sucker for Sherlock Holmes (or any detective/mystery stuff for that matter), but I wish the deduction in this game was less hand-holdy.

A really by-the-numbers open-world game completely saved by the Nemesis System which is really awesome and leads to a lot of emergent storytelling. The game is a mix of AssCreed and Arkham, and does both pretty well, but the Orcs steal the show. This was my top game for 2014, but in hindsight, that year was a pretty bad year in general for games.
