Addictive gameplay loop, awesome atmosphere, and intriguing mysteries, all of which fall flat due to there really being no stakes. I know it would have scared some people off, but the game would have been way better with some sort of long-term time mechanic.

When you distill the concept of “video game” into an essence and shoot it straight into your veins, this is what it feels like. While I did find myself wishing for some more difficulty throughout the entire experience - and for the tricking system to be bit more intricate - it's still incredibly easy to recommend Bomb Rush. It's just... pure fun.

modern controls are a godsend for a casual player like me. i had a blast with my friends for two weeks, command-grabbing people with Manon's dance moves and spamming JP's silly projectiles and floor spikes. hit platinum and then peaced the fuck out to go live my life and touch grass

Perfection on PS5, needs a lot of work on PC. Probably won't be fun (with my setup) for a long time. However on PS5 it was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life. The story absolutely blew me away, the score was incredible, the gameplay was so much better than Fallen Order (and I love Fallen Order), and I can basically talk endless good about this game. Shame it has such a bad launch.
