I'm 15 and just discovered philosophy and shitty jrpg mechanics

"Dude Growing Up Sucks Lmao"

Epitome of style > substance. Why go for clever and subversive horror when you can masquerade everything in fog and darkness and make the controls suck? The story is nothing special and basically a retelling of every "Modern America is A Monster"" story ever, also comically bad symbolism that impresses gamers who fail to understand subtlety.

The controls are not half as bad as people say they are, what really makes Mario Sunshine so putrid is the repetitive mission design and gimmicky gameplay.

My favorite game of all time! Watched a playthrough on YouTube. :)

Man I love doing the same dodge and one button attack the entire game on the same variation of big beast dude, knight in armor, and guy with victorian gun. The story is Fromsoft doing what they usually do, have it all be a bunch of vague meaningless nonsense so the fans can write it for them. Also the music sounds like its from a 2012 Epic Badass Gaming Mix (TM).

Faux-philosophical coomer garbage with no substance and Platnium Games trademark mediocre "button mash to look at the pretty colors" excuse of gameplay. Every day I am further convinced gamers are the most easily impressed people on the planet.

2020

Babby's first "duhpweshun" game. :(((((
I have seen keys jangled in front of babies that are more poignant and meaningful than whatever the hell this game was trying to say in the 30 hours I wasted on it.

Open world games have done nothing for the industry but cause it to stagnate and stick its head further and futher up its own ass. I don't think I have ever played a worse game in my life.

I appreciate how Demon's souls tried to innovate with its gameplay by staying within the confines of its controls, but it is also Souls combat, and Souls combat is garbage.

Tries way too hard to make the player feel sad while ALSO having nothing meaningful to say. Suffer porn for band kids.

Gotta love how this objectively awful, overwritten, predictable piece of garbage is considered a "masterpiece" and "peak fiction." Geniunely don't know how anyone can like this trash, did people on twitter say its good? Gamers have to be the most easily impressed group of people. If all it takes for someone to write "peak fiction" is to make a bunch of anime tropes that talk like Marvel Characters and vague references to philosophy then I should be a millionaire by now.

The only good thing Kojima made because it upsets Metal Gear fans.
