it just feels like a direct bastardization of everything the original game wanted to say from how it handles events from the original game like the plates falling and actually killing people instead of evacuating to how poorly written characters like biggs and jessie are, the way the game tries to do the default jrpg bullshit with the random happy and silly moments is so annoying and so just distasteful sometimes, not to say the original game didnt have those moments but something just makes me mad about that one parachute scene over the slums that i cant really articulate well

the game looks pretty good though i like the graphics
