summer of game pass #1

kinda like the quibi of videogames

awesome and cool but damn it kinda runs like shit on base penis 4, will finish it when i have a PS5 in 31 years

enjoyed this mostly because of the surprisingly excellent combat but overall.. no not really no

props to insomniac for doing everything they could with the shitty-looking Rainmaker cinematic joint but even as a game the story is super standard stuff, characters are okay i guess, its unfunny asf and my fucking god the final boss fight in RE Village took me like 20 minutes less to beat than the one here, its really not good lmfao

still, im very excited to experience rift apart through 20 youtube videos :)

very torn between a 2.5 and a 3 on this one lol, more superhot sounds good on paper and for the most part it’s a neat expansion of that concept but jesus christ it’s so fucking long for no reason at all, perhaps it being this long is intentional but you can only do the same thing for so long before it gets stale and no longer fresh

takes a while to get going and kinda falls off near the end but this mostly slaps, certainly gets bonkers in a way i wish AAA games would get more often and sure it’s way more action heavy than RE7 but it has a good amount of spooky stuff if you want to shit your pants a little bit; fun time

the greatest game i’ll never finish

edit 20/06/2022: IM BALLING GODDAMN WOOOOOOOOO

i am looking respectfully at ada wong

have to give it props for committing to that ending holy shit lol but otherwise it’s standard Ubisoft fare

i don’t think i’ve gotten to the crazier parts of this yet but it’s p cool i’ll finish it one day :)

sometimes u just want to go apeshit

hmmmmm

i liked it! but it’s very much an early access type beat which is embarrassing for a big release like this, there is definitely a great game in here but even aside from occasionally horrid performance on my PS4 slim, there’s gameplay and world elements that feel underdeveloped or not fully ready and it shows given that the devs thought this wouldn’t be ready til 2022..

i’ll finish the remaining side quests and maybe come back and replay it when it’s actually stable lmfao but yeah hopefully by the year’s end we’ll have the best game it can be

it’s wonderful but to be honest i kinda hate that i have to keep replaying levels and grind to get X number of stars like 3 times by now, it honestly is irritating to the point i’m gonna stop playing this and come back to finish it at another time

i have just finished the main story and most of the side quests of Ghost of Tsushima and well. it's good lmao

the story's good even if overlong and a bit abrupt, characters are solid, gameplay is really fun, it looks fucking gorgeous and it feels so great to roam the open world without an overcrowded HUD but overall it's just a more polished and fun Assassin's Creed with only this game's gorgeous scenery being what mainly sets it apart from other open-world games which tbh i'm starting to feel fatigue of 🥴

but yeah, cool game, FAR from being the amazing thing nearly everyone said it was a few months back but i'm eager to fully complete it and check out the co-op mode :)

edit: upped it to 4 stars bc damn did i spend a LOT of time on this and never got boring, plus the legends mode kinda slaps it's a fun time

revelations being the only previous RE title i have played so far i don't know where this fits within the rest in quality but it's really good

starts great, falls off a little bit and comes back around for a bonkers finale which is very much my cup of tea and i can't wait to play Village next year i hope lol.

really good game aside from being too hard as balls sometimes to the point you feel numb after countless deaths, still i'm glad i finally got to play it :)
