Fun little overhead shooter on the Game Boy from HAL. The only problem is that it's far too short - it took about 30 minutes to complete.

It was super fun on the first playthrough, especially since I went after completing the Pokedex. An engaging story too, much better than Sword and Shield's. However, once the honeymoon phase wears out, you're left with a pretty empty game with buggy graphics, barren towns, and not much to differentiate it from other games in the series as far as post-game content.

Pretty good so far. Amazing music, good graphics for the time, and an interesting hybrid of overhead adventure game and shoot-em-up. The dungeons are pretty esoteric though.

Was having a great time until I realized I actually had to get good at Puyo-Puyo. Has gotten me interested in the series as a whole though, and Tetris obviously speaks for itself. The blending of the two games works suprisingly well.

Great music and appealing graphics. Pretty typical as far as Kirby games go, but this entry makes some pretty frustrating design choices later on, involving a lot of backtracking to get copy abilities specific to certain Rainbow Drops.

One of my all-time favorites. An amazing remake that improves on the original in every way and carries over what makes it so great - an amazing amount of variety, fun controls, and top-tier music

Less a game and more a surrealist experience, it creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere with its minimalist music and dream-like game design.

Great entry in the WarioWare series. It'll destroy your touch screen though, which ultimately keeps me from playing it more.

The best way to experience the Sinnoh region in Gen 4. Love the minor upgrade to graphics and especially appreciate the new Dex. However, it is still Gen 4 Sinnoh which means very slow battles, lots of HMs, and a pretty mediocre story. Super nostalgic for Gen 4 though so I love it regardless.

Pretty fun if simplistic beat-em-up. Oozes in Wario charm with its weird sound effects and music. The bosses are wonderfully quirky as well, though some more enemy variety would have been nice.

A fun if somewhat uninspired entry in the 2D series. Looks great and has some pretty good tunes to boot.*

Comfy little Mario game, though pretty uninspired. I have a bias towards handhelds, otherwise, I probably wouldn't rank it so high.

A super fun rhythm game that's simple to pick up and play and tons of fun to master. Just as addicting as the developers' WarioWare series.

Played it as a part of Pac-Man Museum+. Super smooth controls, appealing graphics, and an amazing soundtrack. The unlimited continues that this port offers makes the game a quick but enjoyable reinterpretation of the arcade classic.

One of my favorite games in the Kirby series. Super ahead of its time in terms of graphics and music, and this game essentially made Kirby who he is today. The biggest problem with the game is losing your ability after one hit - shit gets annoying. Also, the lag is pretty bad in the NES version, though it's not an issue in the 3DS Classics port.
