One of if not the best games on the GameBoy. Short but sweet slow-paced platform with big, attractive sprites, fun power-ups, and a catchy soundtrack.

Super comfy game with a GOAT soundtrack, beautiful environments, and amazing controls. A smooth difficulty curve keeps it from overstaying its welcome and makes it a blast to come back to.

Pretty fun if simplistic beat-em-up. Oozes in Wario charm with its weird sound effects and music. The bosses are wonderfully quirky as well, though some more enemy variety would have been nice.

A phenomenal entry in the series. Amazing atmosphere, a beautiful, more ambient soundtrack, and phenomenal controls. Also one of the easier Castlevania games, so a great entry point for newcomers.

An amazing evolution of the original arcade game. This is the deepest move pool Mario has ever had in a 2D game. The battery save and short length of each level make this the perfect game to pick up and play whenever you have a few minutes to spare.

A great return to form for the WarioWare series. This is basically a spiritual successor to Smooth Moves and fills those shoes very well by using the Joy-Cons to their fullest ability. A lot less content than Get It Together and Gold, but right in line with the rest of the more gimmick-centered entries of the series.

Most people consider this game to be too archaic to be enjoyable, but I had a blast, even without drawing a map or using a guide. Great ambiance for its time and is super rewarding to the persistent player.

One of the best in the WarioWare series. The rotation gimmick is used to its fullest potential, and has a very satisfying rumble feedback. Only thing that sucks is you can't easily emulate it.

Simple but incredibly fun puzzle game. Also the only one I'm any good at so I'm biased.

Amazing platformer on the SNES with a small but great soundtrack, a beautiful hand-drawn aesthetic, and a good level of challenge, especially if you go for high-scores on every level.

One of my favorite games in the Kirby series. Super ahead of its time in terms of graphics and music, and this game essentially made Kirby who he is today. The biggest problem with the game is losing your ability after one hit - shit gets annoying. Also, the lag is pretty bad in the NES version, though it's not an issue in the 3DS Classics port.

Peak Sonic. Amazing graphics, GOAT soundtrack, playable characters that each offer something unique and each have their own routes to travel, and an understated but surprisingly effective story.

Iconic in every way and the Mega Man game to play if you have never tried one before. Super approachable even for an NES game.

Great aesthetics and level design that are ruined by what I find to be horrible controls and an unusable camera. It's revolutionary and I'm super nostalgic for it, but playing through it is quite annoying unless you are accustomed to the controls and camera.

Pretty simple yet addicting linear platformer. Very fun to pick up and play, and a great port of the second NES game.
