An alright game, and a beloved competitive title. Probably the best SSB game for singleplayer in a vacuum.

A game I have always loved, but have soured on over time. The overall linearity of the game, despite its apparent openness, especially in terms of dungeons, definitely hurts, although the great puzzles and combat helps a lot. The story and characters are more compelling than OOT perhaps but less so than MM.

It gets a lot of hate, but I love this one. Significant gameplay improvement over the PSX titles, and it doesn't disappoint with its story and characters, at least in terms of my taste, nor does the impeccable soundtrack.

A very enjoyable romp that I've 100%ed too many times to count. Some of the levels have grown old at this point and there's definitely flaws, but pretty much everything you could want from a 2D Mario is here before it grew tiring.

I have never been more impressed with the writing of a game story than with Endwalker, able to continue the story of Shadowbringers and even improve on it with only minimal triteness.

Easily the best FF on the PS1. Genuinely enjoyable and surprisingly competent story with incredible characters, and character growth and stories that feel deserved compared to, say, FF7, where characters change on a whim. Gameplay is not much improved but is acceptable.

An all-timer platformer with great controls, level design, and perfect music. The graphics are controversial after decades, but I think they remain great, and combine with the music to create a unique ambiance. Another game I replay almost every year.

Definitely the first game in the series, although not nearly as obvious as for most platformers. Still, I don't love 2D Sonic games.

Another incredible Metroidvania in the franchise and one with a surprisingly interesting story. The linearity of the areas work for the type of game Fusion is, although the latter parts of the game drag on as you have to travel between areas for 100%.

I enjoy the gameplay overall more than SMG and it definitely benefits from some streamlining, but I still dislike the graphical style, and it doesn't even have the same unique atmosphere that SMG had.

I still need to play Bowser's Fury, but just adding online multiplayer to 3D World bumps it up from 'very good' to 'very very good' in my eyes.

Honestly never liked it as much as others do, although its still decent.

Definitely flawed (the dialogue especially in some places), but the story was engaging and the gameplay was genuinely fun and unique. I hope to get the motivation to return.

ANOTHER Bethesda game I always want to come back to but can't stick to playing for very long. At this point, I doubt I'd ever want to play this over New Vegas, considering their reputations.

Great game, although by virtue of being compared to its predecessor it suffers. The characters, worlds, combat, and music are all incredible in my opinion, but also markedly worse than XC1. On its own strengths though, and ignoring the uncomfortable clothing of some of the female characters which are of course embarrassing, I still love it.
