The Maneaters can eat my shorts.

Finally beat this game after defeating that bloody Burnt Ivory King, and while I don't think it had as many iconic bosses and areas as the first game, I still thought it was an enjoyable time and a worthy follow-up. In particular I loved your weird little gang of misfits that gathers at Majula.

But I think I might take a break from Souls games for a while, they're fantastic but they tend to suck up my time and be a bit emotionally draining.

I really quite liked this. Certainly some of the dialogue was overwrought and pretentious, but I loved the visuals and music and found the story compelling. That undersea caves section was one of the most beautiful environments I've ever played through.
(Of course, I did buy this game for like two bucks, so that might make me look more favourably on it lol.)
