Absolutely loved translating the languages, such a cool and fresh puzzle mechanic! The story was also very engaging and inspiring. Great game!

Played the Remastered Perfection Mod and it was the most fun I've ever had with this game! Definitely easier to get good cards, you don't have to grind 1000s of hours to get one Meteor B. Dragon lol.

Just in awe of all the surprising and exciting new elements that were added throughout the levels. It's the best Mario game I've ever played!

When Breath of the Wild came out, I was immediately hooked and had a fantastic time. While playing it, I always had in mind that "this is a really great game... but not really a good Zelda." After a few years, I can say that Breath of the Wild is one of my favorite games of all time. It redefined open-world games for me and many other people and is one of the best exploration games that exist.
Now, what about Tears of the Kingdom?
In contrast to BotW, I always had this in my mind while playing it: "This is a better Zelda than BotW... but not a good sequel".
Storywise, it was nothing special and at some point I didn't care about it (especially after finding the last story sequence almost at the beginning lol).
The world didn't really have many changes besides the Underworld/Sky Islands (which were underwhelming).
I didn't enjoy the build mechanics until very late in the game and the shrines transformed from cool puzzles to tutorials for the build tools (meh).

So, did I not enjoy the game? Well, I still did! Just traversing the world, fighting Moblins and doing quests were enough for me to still have a good time. Additionally, the temples were a massive upgrade compared to BotW and the bosses were really good. Especially the end boss (holy shit, best Zelda end boss fight ever imo).

Resident Evil games usually have great atmosphere and engaging puzzles at the beginning, but the endings always have too much action. In contrast, this one is almost completely filled with those action sequences right from the start. Additionally, the sheer amount of cultist enemies thrown at me in the castle section was really frustrating and made me drop this. What a shame, not for me.

If the story length of the first were a movie, this would be a whole season, wow, this game was long!
Unfortunately I was kinda let down by the combat. It had too many encounters with too many enemies.
Nevertheless, a great game with great characters.

The Dark Souls of Soulslike games. I was in the middle of this game when Breath of the Wild came out, so I played BotW instead. A few weeks later I played it again where I left off and I had completely forgotten how this game worked and where I was so i abandoned it lol

2016

The first 6 hours were tedious but good! My jaw dropped when i learned that the game is over 20 hours long. No way i was going to do all the same things over and over again in this period of time!

I liked the atmosphere and the sound design, but the crafting and constant backtracking was just too much for me.

The outstanding dialogues help you build a connection with the characters, which are all fantastic by the way. The choices you then must face are so heartbreaking, it is as if you're hurting/losing someone you knew for a long time and
at the end of the game I was in tears.
This is my favorite game of all time 🏆!

Really wanted to like this but it was a little too slow for me.

Always loved this but never once got a rare card without cheating lmao

Most of it was just okay, but the ending was very good! I'm so happy the best game series of all time had at least a good ending before Telltale got bankrupt.

The best Add-On for one of the best Games. Fantastic!
