Dota gives you a lot of reason to play due to the depth and complexity of the game. Each game is unique and interesting. You have to understand that it's a team game, and the issues with team games will come from it. Toxicity will happen, losing cause of teammates will happen. Regardless, it's the best moba experience.

I havn't played many single player games, but this is my favorite one. The gameplay starts a little sluggish at first, but you get used to it and appreciate it pretty quickly. The world is so amazing for me. I was actually sad when it was over.

2004

One of my favorite games to play as a kid. I played through it 3 times and enjoyed it throughout my life.

Absolutely awful experience to play on kbm. Don't be fooled by it saying it has kbm support, it really doesn't. Menus are awful, UI is awful, and the graphics were bad enough that looking out in the ocean with the sun made my eyes hurt. I spent 2 hours trying to make the controls work. It was a nightmare.

The gameplay is the best gameplay out of any card game I've played, and I've been playing card games since before I could read.
However there is no ranked mode, the monetization system causes players to quit, and the game is currently not receiving updates.

Really rewarding experience for those who want to try hard, but I find it really boring and annoying to play casually. Maybe its because I started playing it seriously at first.

So many hours spent on this game as a kid. I love star wars

So many things to say about this game.
First of all, the graphics are so attractive and crisp. It really makes you want to play the game.

About gameplay, the game really does feel like a warzone. A few problems I had were the characters running around the battlefield despite not really doing anything. They just cause a distraction and kill immersion, despite trying to do the opposite.

A lot of maps are pretty one-sided and basically come down to the snipers and heroes. Some heroes can just carry the team, so I guess the game has high skill cap even though being marketed so casually that they don't even have a lobby browser or ranked mode.

Sniping is extremely tedious because everyone just hides behind obstacles and heals back up. The healing mechanisms are just really annoying for the heroes as well.

The game got major flak for its monetization system, but the monetization system is good now. Barely anything to spend money on, and none of it is p2w. You can earn everything really easily.

Space battles are really fun and the controls feel surprisingly good even on kbm.

However, the worst part of the game is that you literally can't play it sometimes. Queing up as a group will force you into a new lobby where nobody joins and game doesn't start. Not sure if it's because the game is so dead or the matchmaking system is so completely fucked. Even solo, you will have problems a lot of the time. To compound the issue, you're forced to use Origin to play the game, and Origin is a piece of shit.

Sad to see a potentially great game be ruined for such stupid reasons.

I liked first one better, but still really fun and the community content breathes life into the game even after you beat the short campaign.

Really fun at first, but the environment and gameplay get's extremely repetitive very quickly.

The environment and gameplay is so much fun. I loved playing the two handed sword and exploring the world. Great story as well.
Only issue is the QTE button mashing. Really annoying to do and doesn't really add to the game at all.

Not nearly as good as the first one.
The storyline is pretty sloppy.
The alternate weapons are pretty much garbage. No more two-hand sword from the 1st game which I loved.
Environment was cool at the beginning, but then kind of ends up being boring.

Such an overrated game.
The graphics are pretty great.
Controls are pretty clunky sometimes.
Dialogue and story is just really uninteresting to me. Lore feels like generic fantasy mixed with European folklore. Nothing really original or inventive.
Combat is literally just dodging and using Quen.
Character customization is extremely limited.
Development of different professions is cut off super early and then doesn't even get expanded in later expansions.
No reason to collect anything. Just a bunch of random items that have nothing to them.

On the surface, it's a great game, but once you think about it there's nothing really to it. It's a big game that kind of falls over itself.

I played back in beta up until GvG, and I can safely say that if I had access to only this game as my sole source of entertainment on a desert island, I still wouldn't play it.
