There is not enough words to describe my love for this game. Incredible and harrowing plot, gorgeous visuals, and an unforgettable soundtrack. It excels in every category and is one of the games that I wish I could play again for the first time. Games like this raise the bar for everything that comes after.

from software's crowning achievement, inspired visuals with an incredible combat system that removes the passivity of earlier titles

by far the best combat system that from software has ever designed. the quality of every boss is leagues above anything else that came before or has followed in their lineup

sets the foundation for what would become an incredible story with one of the tightest combat systems in modern MMOs, but the experience on its own is lacking. this is the "it gets better after!" of this MMORPG and it is can be agonizing

superb plot with gorgeous new zones. the newly introduced jobs have incredible designs and the new trials and dungeons are leagues above what A Realm Reborn offers. did not care for the new raid and alliance raid encounters.

incredible amounts of content at max level and a compelling and grounded plot compared to what follows and precedes it.

by far the best plot told in the FFXIV story. the new zones are stunning and the content is all of high quality. 5.1-5.55 had some pretty rough content lulls and the quality of bozja and zadnor is often discussed but if you're playing this game for the plot then this is without a doubt the highlight of the game.

hilarious, tense and addictive all at once. exceptional start for a game

ultrakill confidently posed itself as one of the most well designed and intense first person shooters of all time from the moment it hit early access with only 1/3 of the content that is expected to be released. an endlessly complex shooter that constantly gets better with one of the most unique and intense soundtracks that I've heard in all of gaming. a plot which doesn't get in the way for those that don't care for story, but is fascinating for those that do care. layer 7, the newest chapter to be released, is a massive step in quality compared to what came before it-- a remarkable feat considering the fact that 6-2 and P-2 were already remarkable.
if you like first person shooters, you NEED to play ultrakill

mediocre 1.0 launch filled to the brim with frustrating AI both for enemies and your team. feels half-baked at every turn. the shooting feels incredible though

if elden ring were 40 hours shorter and the bosses were more compelling, it would be one of the indisputable best games of all time. unfortunately neither of those things are true. the best fights in this game pale in comparison to the weakest in sekiro and just when you think things are building up to a narrative conclusion, the game drags on for another dozen hours. over and over again

all in all one of the best games of all time. there are very, VERY few games from this era that you can play through in their entirety without feeling obvious pain points due to their age but symphony of the night to this day feels modern and entertaining. incredible atmosphere, incredible music, incredible everything

this game inflicted me with gender dysphoria

I named my cat after this game

balteus was an incredible fight and made me excited for what would follow. unbeknownst to me, balteus was the peak of the game.
