incredible fun in its heyday and arguably the peak of call of duty. it never got better than this

more like BOREderlands 3 because good lord this game is shining proof that borderlands as a series should not exist past 2012

great music and level layouts, hideous visuals. unfortunately never reaches the heights of symphony of the night in any category

visually impressive, but nowhere near the quality of half-life 1 and not at all a substitute for a first time player of the series

awful campaign, great multiplayer

great breakout game. it was never going to fully replace battlefield but it shows that DICE isn't the only ones who can make games like that and hopefully pushes them to start giving a shit with their next installment

Yeah, it's as good as everyone says it is

balteus was an incredible fight and made me excited for what would follow. unbeknownst to me, balteus was the peak of the game.

I named my cat after this game

this game inflicted me with gender dysphoria

all in all one of the best games of all time. there are very, VERY few games from this era that you can play through in their entirety without feeling obvious pain points due to their age but symphony of the night to this day feels modern and entertaining. incredible atmosphere, incredible music, incredible everything

if elden ring were 40 hours shorter and the bosses were more compelling, it would be one of the indisputable best games of all time. unfortunately neither of those things are true. the best fights in this game pale in comparison to the weakest in sekiro and just when you think things are building up to a narrative conclusion, the game drags on for another dozen hours. over and over again

mediocre 1.0 launch filled to the brim with frustrating AI both for enemies and your team. feels half-baked at every turn. the shooting feels incredible though

ultrakill confidently posed itself as one of the most well designed and intense first person shooters of all time from the moment it hit early access with only 1/3 of the content that is expected to be released. an endlessly complex shooter that constantly gets better with one of the most unique and intense soundtracks that I've heard in all of gaming. a plot which doesn't get in the way for those that don't care for story, but is fascinating for those that do care. layer 7, the newest chapter to be released, is a massive step in quality compared to what came before it-- a remarkable feat considering the fact that 6-2 and P-2 were already remarkable.
if you like first person shooters, you NEED to play ultrakill
