This game is good, especially the second half, but isn't anywhere near as creepy and iconic as RE1 and it's mansion. I'm biased because I've only played the RE1 remake, but the Spencer mansion will stay with me for a long, long time. The police station on the other hand... Eh. Not a fan of having to play the same game twice to see everything either.

I don't think I can name a single thing this game didn't ruin from the first game besides the visuals. Disgusting, a mockery, but at least it buried Dishonored so it can't be molested further in the future.
