Next run I swear I’ll stop using flush builds. I promise guys just one more run

this gotta be the worst title for any game ever. why is the emphasis added on how high tech this world is when if anything the world's pretty low tech by this series standards. why isnt it just alex kidd in high tech world, why the colon. perhaps the lack of the word in was a covert way of telling us that this aint a real alex kidd game and i played it for nothing

Incredible: Scientists invent second good roguelike.

Definitive proof that normal ass card games clear 99% of video games

the high level of soul of this game reminded me of just how important time and place can be for something in this medium. i don't think anything as charming as this could be made in the days following or before its release, and its distinctness from yet resemblance to the i spy source material are perfectly placed in equal measure. worth every second and every penny. in a word, kino.

soul crushing at points, but one of the best 2d platformers ever made nonetheless. boasts some especially well-thought-out level design and enemy placement that does not get NEARLY the credit it deserves

i feel the respawning enemies (especially the priests) are ridiculously overhyped by people who fail to understand that this is ultimately a game about constantly moving forward. like, you aren't supposed to slash at them mindlessly and hope that they just stop appearing - you gotta jump INTO and slice THROUGH those motherfuckers

oh and just so we're clear: this is about the nes game. not the arcade one. no more funny business, aight, igdb?

Never played but obligated to give it a 10/10 because of how much enjoyment I get from joining a new MegaTen server, making a joke about how Persona 3 was the first Persona game, turning notifications on my phone, and then shoving it up my ass

The developers could have hidden a new Star Fox game on the Game Over screen, and nobody would ever find out.

really charming short little experience that doesn't try to be more than it needs to and i really appreciate that!! pratty and sugar definitely made the whole thing for me though; lets go lesbians

I fucking love Sonic CD. I understand why some think it's kind of rough, but I think the whole experience is just pure fun. The levels are big but they're fun to run through and explore. The special stages are fucking amazing and I love playing them every time. The metal sonic race is just peak. The japanese soundtrack is funky shit. It's just amazing. I can't think of much that I actually don't like. Maybe Wacky Workbench? I still don't really hate that level it's just kind of annoying.

9/10
