Played a few runs, couldn't beat the boss - it's a very frustrating difficulty spike there (plus, I guess 'Normal' is actually 'Hard'). Too much depends on random, unlike in Into the Breach. You either get a bad build - and you're doomed, or you get a good build and the fights are boring right until the boss. Not as satisfyingly tactical as ITB.

Uh... Well, I completed the story - it's not very long. Couldn't bear through the DLCs tho. The side-stuff like liberating cities is pretty much filler - fun for a couple of times, then it gets repetitive. Some challenges are fun, but then again - it's more of the same. The story is meh. The gameplay... I thought it would be much more creative than it is. You just blow stuff. So yeah, it was fun, but not for long.

Played it after finishing Desperados 3, desperate for more — but it's a big step-down. You can clearly see how much D3 improved over this. The level design, the dialogues, interface... Shadow Tactics was fine, but I need D4!

Really well-made game. Sort of stealth-tactics, where you have to unravel a web of enemy control zones, one by one. I really liked playing it, feels a little bit too easy sometimes, but overall the gameplay and atmosphere is top-notch. Beautiful graphics too, almost has a 'hand-drawn' touch to it. Hope for a sequel.

It's a good game! 'Oldschool' shooter, way better than Boltgun - the level design is on another level, more variety, cool weapons. Pixel enemies are cool. It's almost an 8/10, but hey, Doom Eternal is 8/10. Bought it for the community levels — extended the fun a bit. But the core gameplay loop is a bit too easy, and the checkpoint system is weird (death has no consequence)

Fun action/shooter combo, can be a bit hard, but not frustrating. Battles are really engaging, require concentration. I liked the addition of plot elements, customization and some platforming, although the amount of secrets is a bit overwhelming, had to watch some youtube guides in parallel. A bit short? yeah.

Very creative and fun platformer, no level is the same. Tons of mechanics, cute graphics. The difficulty is high, but you complete each level right before it gets really frustrating.

ah, sweet nostalgia cranker
played it as a child, don't think I managed to complete it back then. it seemed blockbuster-quality, a strategy on par with some rpg graphics.
Decided to play it again now, finally completed it a to z. well it shows its age, but it was kinda fun anyway.
it's hard to rate, just a pleasant gestalt closure.

Чисто такой мирный ситибилдер, есть прикольные идеи, но пока что контента мало и в целом, становится скучно. Поиграл чутка и забил. Мб когда из альфы выйдет то попробую ещё раз, а может нет)

It's not very long, finished it in a couple of days. Fun 'brainless' shooter, but lacks variety. Graphics are simple, yet there's not many enemies and bosses. it gets repetitive. Melee combat is useless (not like doom), the level design leaves you puzzled way too often. No voicing. So yeah, it was kinda fun, but feels like a cheap indie project. don't think I'll come back to it.

Eh, played for about 30 minutes, I don't like it. and ppl say it's going to get frustratingly hard, so nah.

God it's such a perfect game. they don't make strategy games like this anymore. loved every minute of it.

Very fun to play with a friend. i was hoping there would be more levels tbh.

The idea is unique, and I wish this game was better. I played for a few hours, but it's way too passive, and worse of all - your actions are very limited and unimpactful. I thought placing tiles would be a real puzzle, but it's predictable and simple. so in the end it's just a simple 'numbers go up' hook.

it's more like an interactive story than a game, but it's just so good. it's slowly paced but somehow stays interesting, the nature is beautiful and serene. the story is great, voice acting is great. I just wish it was longer.
